An Honest Meeting

As far as Zuqetta knew, her first mission as a Nova had been a rousing success; she was unaware of the events that transpired with Lottus Sen and the others that had given chase, but with none standing in the way of the Novas, how could their takeover be anything BUT a success? With that in mind, Zuqetta was keen to remain on Konats a good while longer, doing whatever odd jobs might have been necessary for an aspiring Nova such as herself... of course, she had no idea what that was. In fact, she wasn't quite sure about anything involving the Nova's beyond what her sister had told her, such was why she now now found herself at the Nova headquarters... or at least the closest thing she could think of as a headquarters for the moment, the mayoral office in the city.

She sat casually upon a rather soft chair in front of a coffee table at the front office of the building, her tail swaying about happily behind her as her attention remained locked upon an interesting device she'd gotten from Russ. While she gamed on her Baotendo Switch, several of the front desk workers had come every so often to ask her if she needed assistance, each time being politely rejected. Zuqetta hadn't a clue as to where Jinx was after that special day; she'd helped with returning citizens to their homes, before eventually getting distracted when a grateful shop owner offered her some sugary sweet ice cream for her help.

"Miss, are... you sure there's nothing we can help you with?" A clerk would ask; a Konatsian woman in a rather well kept suit, one you'd typically see politely working the front desk.

"Nah, I'm good!" Zuqetta would reply, engrossed in her game, much to the dismay of the clerk who could only give a sigh in respond before returning to her place behind the counter to continue her tasks.

Zuqetta was only here to see Jinx, there was plenty she needed to discuss with the upbeat green glob after all. She needed to know, was she really an official Nova now? How could she repay her for healing Xiao? Is she aware of things involving Plant? Zuqetta had a few more things on her mind, but one that weighed heavily was her prior deception to the Majin... as well as her inability to stay in contact even after said deception. She'd give a heavy sigh just thinking about it, "Heh, this must be that cringe feeling Budoshi was talkin' about." she'd mutter, before decidedly distracting herself further with her game.
