The Saiba breeding pits, this was where Zukkah found a rather large cave to live in within the past few years. Why, you ask? Survival was easy when a source of food was nearby. And yes, Zukk lived off the Saibamen in the area, along with a good workout because it was not always an easy fight when it came to those creatures. The saiyan instinct to not only live, but to thrive as well had kicked in long ago, which is why Zukk had become much like a barbaric saiyan of sorts. With no friends and family to lean on, the warrior literally spent most of his time sleeping, eating, or hunting. It was a cycle that Zukkah had gotten used to over time.
The screeching sound of Saibamen woke up the saiyan, causing Zukkah to yawn loudly as he was currently leaning against the wall of the cave. “Can’t a saiyan get any sleep around here?!” He shouted in anger. A vein popping from the front of his forehead and anger filling the man. The sound continued to echo throughout the cave and Zukk was finally annoyed enough to stand from the ground and make their way out to investigate exactly what was going on. This was not the first time he had to deal with stray Saibamen making their way into his home, but he had to deal with it in order to survive out where they were constantly breeding.
Once outside the cave, Zukkah stretched their arms and legs, while looking at the crimson sky above. It was such a beautiful sight to see, yet such a dangerous place to be. With the morning breeze stretching across the breeding pits and the Saibamen feeding on something they killed, the lone saiyan warrior folded his arms against their chest, and continued to gaze out at the view he was given this particular morning. “Ahh, nothin’ like the smell of death in the morning.” He let out a sigh of relief, because it was not very often that he was left alone when outside of the cave. The Saibamen were relentless in their own ways, allowing them to hunt in packs when necessary.
As Zukkah began to take a few steps forward, one of the Saibamen was in the air, descending downward towards the back of the saiyan warrior. With one quick pivot, Zukk turned and swatted the creature into a rock formation to the far right of his current location. The formation crumbled and left the creature underneath the rubble. That one would most likely never be seen again. To the left of where he was standing something seemed odd. It looked like some sort of portal, but Zukk had never seen anything like it before. It was intriguing to say the least, which had his full attention. Something like this was unheard of and that alone had the saiyan curious to what he was looking at.
The saiyan took yet another few steps forward, but this time it was in the direction of the portal that seemed to appear out of nowhere. “Hm, what the hell is this thing?” Zukk mumbled, while walking closer. He had no idea what to expect, or what it even was, but he was more than curious. Almost as if this portal was luring him in somehow. But that was not the only thing going on. The Saibamen that he thought was dead, had pulled its way from the rubble and darted across the area, then jumped up into the air, and attempted to kick the shirtless saiyan right into the portal. It all had come out of nowhere, really. He did not expect it, so the attack landed, and sent the saiyan spiraling into the portal alone.
