Into The Unknown

Once inside the office with Gandigan at his side, Zukkka remained silent the entire time, as he did not want to anger any of the Ogres that reside in hell. He was told they did not like the living roaming their dimension, so he knew to keep his mouth shut and allow the Namekian to do all the talking. This was to ensure his safety throughout the little adventure he was on with Gandigan. He may have been the polar opposite of Zukk, but being nice would go a long way in front of this saiyan.

As Gandigan and the Ogre engaged in conversation with one another, Zukkah stood back and examined the office he was in. Many devices that he had not seen caught his eye, causing him to slowly walk around the room to see everything within. It was an incredible station to say the least, something that Zukkah couldn’t even imagine on their best day. “How did they come up with this kind of stuff?” He thought to himself, as he walked past the pendulum that hung above some sort of map. The saiyan stopped walking around and watched as the Ogre pressed a big, blue button! Instantly, the pendulum began to swing wildly above the map.

When the pendulum finally stopped, it seemed to land near some sort of area that the Namekian was familiar with. Zukk glanced at both beings before shifting their eyes back to the map in front of them all. He pondered for a moment, wondering how all this even really started. What if something huge portal hopped its way across each domain, burning everything in their path? Zukk might not have been a good person to the core, but he still had a heart for those that did not deserve death. Honor and pride was something he lived by, even when it got him into some nasty situations. “Anything I can do to help?” He asked curiously, while putting his full attention on the Namekian and Ogre within the office.

Zukkah looked directly at the Ogre when they were explaining the situation. It seemed that the saiyan would be free to go in a short time and go on with their life as if this had never happened. On the other hand, the bearded saiyan wanted to give back for the help that he received from them. It only felt right to him, but it seemed that with him being in their dimension, it would only cause more portals to appear until all the living went back to their own dimension. “Whatever.” He turned and finally began to make their exit behind Gandigan. They also wanted to hurry back just in case the portal would close, then Zukk would have to wait to get home.

As the two finally made it to the Sand Sea, the Namekian stopped and asked the saiyan if they didn’t mind a little detour. Zukk stopped as well, listening carefully and letting out a slight chuckle before speaking. “I have nothing better to do. Might as well come along. I might learn a thing or two on the way.” The saiyan stated, with a nod in agreement. It was either go back to Plant just to hunt and eat, or go on yet another adventure with the Namekian warrior. He knew damn well that food could wait, so he did not hesitate to accept the offer from Gandigan. Where would they end up? Zukkah didn’t have a clue and obviously didn’t care much, as long as he wasn’t bored out of his mind.

When Gandigan began to explain the entire situation at hand, Zukkah folded their arms against his chest and listened carefully to everything the Namekian was saying. The portals were already confusing itself, but Gandigan had explained it pretty simply for the saiyan warrior. But there was always more to a story like this and Zukkah had no issues finding out what it was. “Sounds like what they are doin’ could affect everyone in both dimensions if it isn’t solved.” He responded. There was some concern in his voice, as his own life may be at risk if things were not sorted out properly, and that was something the saiyan would try their hardest to avoid.

They continued to stand around and conversate about the new adventure they were about to go on, and Gandigan was now explaining to Zukk that there was a demon with some sort of power that would allow them to travel through dimensions with their own mind. It caused the saiyan to raise a brow in surprise from what he was hearing from the Namekian. “Wow, so this is something not to be messin’ with. Makes me wanna find this goon and knock their brains out!” The saiyan raised their clenched fist and smashed it against the palm of their other hand. He was ready to whoop some ass because of what he heard.

As Gandigan was now going over his last visit with the grave of this demon he spoke of, only to find the body missing from the grave. Gross, right? Maybe they were about to be fixing up some sort of cloning process to bring this Amon back to life, or worse. There were so many variables that could change things, but that was the thing that excited the saiyan the most! He felt there was a chance that he could end up fighting something stronger than he could even imagine. But as the Namekian finished speaking, he asked Zukk a question. He cocked his head slightly with a smirk forming at the edge of their mouth “It’s what I do to live. Would you be able to take me to this grave? It might help if I can get a scent of what we might be lookin’ for. Then again, I never met a demon, so their scent would be new to me and I would be able to pick it up rather quick.” He stated in response to Gandigan’s question.

Zukkah continued to walk by the side of Gandigan, while listening to the Namekian explain the exact location of the grave where Amon was buried. The Ashen Mountains, it was the location where Gandigan would eventually take the lone saiyan warrior. Nothing about the place would look anything like home. It was much different than the meadows he lived and hunted in. But he remained quiet for the time being, taking in the views of everything around them, while focusing on the task at hand. Zukk knew that they were on the hunt and that was where his focus would lie the entire trip.

After what seemed like days of trekking through the Sand Sea and Ashen Mountains, the duo finally made their way to the top of the mountain. That was when the saiyan broke their silence and looked over at the Namekian for a moment. “It smells up here..” He spoke in a soft tone, while turning to look at the small slit in the stone wall they had to squeeze through. It was just big enough that the duo would be able to make it through with little problems. Zukk didn’t care because he was too focused on the scent that continued to hit their nostrils.

But when Gandigan mentioned other guests that would not be as friendly as the Ogres they met earlier, it caused him to form a grin at the corner of their lips. “Then we kill those that stand in our way, it is as simple as that. We don’t have time to be standing around all day, let’s move on and get going.” He said in a more stern voice, while walking forwards. When the saiyan reached the small slit in the stone, he glanced back at Gandigan with a slight nod before turning and entering. The journey seemed to be long from over and that was perfectly fine with the saiyan warrior because there was nothing at home for him for the time being.
