Was there anyone on Namek who could prepare Gandigan for what was to come? Was there a single soul who could match the power, the ferocity and the derangement of the Saiyan Lottus? Probably not, and yet he still had to try. Gandigan had cut a deal with the devil, which he now planned to renege on. He had been the one who brought Namek into the sights of Lottus, which is why the responsibility to end this threat fell onto him and him alone.
Finding the bastard would be one thing, but for now Gandigan was focusing on preparing for the battle. Once he had finished his duties for the day, Gandigan called upon the strongest of the Mazoku warriors from each tribe to follow him out to the First Scar, where he hoped that their combined strength might be enough to sharpen him. Every little bit of strength he could gain before leaving Namek was needed if he were to return alive. This could be his final time departing.
"Again!" He cried to Balafon, the strongest of the tribesmen. Balafon at first had been a cocky adversary, believing himself to be capable of leading the Mazoku better than Gandigan. He was quickly put in his place, and since had become one of the King's most loyal followers. Though he fell quite a bit short of Lottus he still provided the best training of the lot. "Is that all you've got? If you ever wish to challenge me again then you're going to need to work twice as hard as I do!"
The young Mazoku charged down his liege, only to be scooped up and dumped hard on his back. Gandigan turned to the crowd and asked for more. "Come on now? Who's going to be the one to test me today? Which one of you is able to keep me on my toes?"
