Being a King came with it's fair of labors. Gandigan had spent the better part of his day listening to some squabbles between two tribes (The Ebrius and the Obrii) as each elder of the tribes vehemently declared that a four meter stretch of land belonged to them. Gandigan could have been forceful in his approach, but he instead tried to settle things peacefully. That route took four hours of talking where eventually convinced the two tribes to simply split the land in two, leaving neither side all that happy but ultimately it was a deal they could live with.
Once that was over, Gandigan had decided that he had suffered all he could for one day. He closed court of the day and took off from his castle, heading down to the Whistling Caves for some meditation. Though the Castle may have belonged to him now, he knew that if he stuck around there would inevitably be someone else to call upon him to deal with some mundane task.
Once he got to the entrance, it was supposed to be an easy walk down to his usual meditation spot, though along the way he spotted something he had never noticed before. Usually Gandigan would simply fly, but in his exhaustion he had been walking which reveled a soft spot in the cave's floor. Gandigan had done his fair share of exploring through the Whistling Caves, though he couldn't for the life of him remember if there was anything down this spot in particular.
Gingerly pressing his foot down, the Mazoku found the floor falling out from him very quickly; too quickly to even fly in response. Though expecting to hit something almost immediately, Gandigan instead continued to fall for what felt like a few hundred feet, slamming into a stone surface below.
