"I will take this matter to Nero. If this happened sometime within his lifetime then I imagine he would have felt something. If there is anything that he is capable of helping with then I know he will." Gandigan wasn't sure of all that had happened between Cello, his people and Gurus of past, but clearly there was a lot of distrust there, and it wasn't going to be something he could overcome easily. Old wounds like that festered and Gandigan could only bring the two together; it would be up to them to settle things.
"But for now I would like to rest; these burns on my hands need attending to, and there has been a lot to take in today. I imagine that you would like to stay here and start the rebuilding process? I shall return to Kyotei and rest until tomorrow. When I wake up I'll come back here and assist you however I can before going to Nero."
As much as Gandigan had been through, he knew that Cello was feeling worse. To see such a thing happen to his people... Gandigan could hardly imagine it. "When I return we shall find out what happened here."
A simple nod was all he could offer, Cello rose to his feet as the words were spoken. There was no other words to offer in this moment besides his promise. After all, what more could a man offer if not his word? There was a hesitance as he'd hear the other speak of a Guru. There was a scowl but one that was quickly replaced as there was no reason to hold the new age accountable of the old. There wasnt much to speak on regardless of that point. He was tired, and so too was the Monk after some time in stone..
"Yes, you should get some rest. Im sure today has been much for you as it has been for me. There is still much I would do here, to at least get comfortable. There is much I need to think on, and much more I will need to prepare. After I take the time to investigate this area some more. After that, I'll be sure to take into consideration all that has occured here and make my move from there. I wish to prepare before a long journey across the wastes. I would see this new era for my own eyes."
There was an incline of his head, dismissing the man as he'd turn his attention fully to that which held before him, the answer and the mystery of his life. Slowly, he'd walk towards the broken husk of a village. The testament of ones home left behind in ruins. He was silent for a good long while, his eyes focused on the path before him. He knew not what the other would say at the end, even if he could hear him. It was more, he didnt wish to hear. He wanted to be alone. Trudging through the broken husk of his old home, moving about the dust and mold that had grown in its wake, the Namekian would make his way to his meditation chamber. Even now, it was the only room still left intact.
There was a sigh, deep, resounding, his very life was now torn asunder. Yet atleast this was here. The small etchings in the wall told a tale, one that helped him understand...this was his home...now and forever, and finally? he'd rest. Eyes closing as he took in everything...Once more wondering, what had happened, but preparing for tomorrow...

Mister Steel: Chomei's estate is vast, and marriage into the family can only benefit Marimba with access to cattle, pasture land, and much grain to feed his armies.
