Dark Descent

After his flurry of fists was avoided, Budoshi seamlessly followed up on it with firing off ki charged blasts of ice as he continued his chase. The air around Budoshi continued to drop in temperature, even becoming somewhat misty though the shine in his deadly glare remained, piercing through it. Every step he took, the next closest pane of glass or spilled drink would freeze over, even some fire-hydrants groaned and twisted oddly before bursting only for the water contained within to freeze.

The chaos had finally erupted in earnest; that larger Saiyan was beset upon by Chomei and some others whereas their supposed ally that Budoshi had first intended to fight had just ran off somewhere else. They had their reasons to fight, the primary aggressor had not a single care in the world, and the ones facing him had righteous intentions.

Budoshi on the other hand? It was nothing like the others, not even the one that was seen as an invading monster. No, for Budoshi this need to fight was purely selfish at the moment. “You did not mean to what, exactly? Disappoint me as an opponent? Speak up or shut up. Fight or run. I do not care what you choose for yourself... However, you do not choose for me. Nobody other than myself has that right.” Budoshi once again glared at the one that had tackled him moments ago. Conjuring a ki charged spear of ice to use as a weapon. This was the last warning that he was going to give...

While initially only interested in the frogs, Nervan seemingly took some note of what was happening around them. In particular, the reactions of the Saiyan with blue hair, and the Earthling lad with green hair. There was something about the pair of them— something strange. Their emotions held a bizarre note, a freaky tune of rage. The former held the fury expertly as a sword master would wield their weapon, the latter seemed to be almost boiling over completely, ready to explode.

This was worth investigating, Nervan thought. They would need to do something about the pond and the frogs first though. So, they began using their odd earrings to absorb the immediate area around them that contained the pond along with all of the frogs. It would be easy to explain away a whole new pond of frogs to the others, super easy.

Budoshi growled at Tarine, exhaling more frigid air. “Do not twist my words.” The Tuffle whirled the weapon that they created, slashing the blast that was aimlessly fired clean in half at first, only to freeze it over before it fully slashed through. Budoshi quickly glanced off to the side, noticing another blast of Ki heading his way. As it flew closer, Budoshi once again whirled his weapon around, catching the errant blast and reforming the weapon into a large hammer instead of a spear. “I do not give a shit about your past. Your triumphs, your failures. All of it means nothing to me.” Budoshi brandished the ice hammer at Tarine. “Do not be a moron. If you are unable to run, if you are unable to fight...Your only remaining course of action is to grow. Think less about what kind of Tuffle you are, and more about what kind of person you are. It all starts there.” Budoshi then, without warning, suddenly rushed with the ice hammer towards Tarine with some forward thrusts and wide side swings. “Deny yourself that, and all you will ever know is failure!”
