Finally. Durian's pod had taken much longer to repair than he had ever anticipated. With Bael as well as a few stolen parts it eventually got done, and now the Tuffle was finally read to get back home. To his first home. The home he knew best. He felt bittersweet about leaving, as Earth had been better to him than he thought it would be. What did Plant have to offer for him now? Was the war over? Did his side win? Did he even have a side?
The Saiyan-Tuffle conflict was mostly lost on him, as Durian still didn't even really know the differences. His family history was completely lost on him, save for the breastplate handed down to him. There was really only one way he'd ever find out, and that was by getting his pod and going back to Plant.
A few hours of hyperspace travel later and Durian found himself inside of Plant's atmosphere, rocketing down to the surface. Despite being a wizard when it came to hardware, software was mostly lost of the boy, who found himself in a state of panic as the many systems around him began to fail. "What? Work now!" Durian slammed his fists into the console, seemingly increasing the speed at which he fell at. At least he had built in safety mechanisms.
Not wanting to test impact from within, Durian quickly pressed the emergency exit button. An instant later and the teenaged half-breed was now in the air himself, falling towards the surface. He had acted too quickly, not realizing just how far from the surface he had actually been. The image of warriors somehow flying with magic popped into his mind, and in a poor effort to replicate their abilities Durian began flapping his arms, hoping that maybe it would work. "Go! Go! Go!"
It didn't. The boy continued to fall, eventually hitting the ground.
