Raiya hadn't expected to find himself back on Plant so soon. His orders were to go to Namek, which he had planned. But plans change. While on the way to Namek, Raiya had sent out messages to some old friends, hoping to try and get a read on this Shroom figure. One of his old Saiyan buddies swore that he saw a Namek in the Saiyan capital which matched his description. Raiya had no idea what a Namekian might be doing in the Saiyan capital, but Shroom seemed a strange guy, and his friend was always reliable.
So he shifted course and headed to Plant. He figured it would only be a quick detour, and he could head over to Namek quick enough should the details prove wrong. He landed his pod out in the disputed territory, in a safe spot he had used many times before. He preferred to have as few people as possible knowing about his return.
While he was here, Raiya figured that searching for allies might not be so bad. Ticoga had told him that Arcose was looking to take on powerful warriors, and Plant had no shortage of them. Twenty thousand would be where he set his limit, and he already had someone in mind. Haupien had proven himself a capable warrior during their first encounter, and had probably already improved in the time since they had fought. He was a mercenary, and Arcose had no shortage of coin.
Last he had seen Haupien was in the capital. Though it would have been dumb to stay there he also didn't have any other leads on him right now, so Raiya began to trek back to Sadala. On the way, he came across a smaller village called Tarbel, stopping to take a break. He gave the surroundings a quick scan, hoping to catch glimpse of Haupien, but what he found instead was a power level near his own; roughly fifty thousand if he had to put a number to it.
For a moment Haupien was forgotten, and now Raiya only had this new figure on his mind. Fifty thousand would make him powerful enough by plenty to join the armored squadron. He began his search of the village, judging that with the small size of Tarbel it shouldn't take long to find this fighter...
