Gandigan had a lot of things he wanted to tick off now that he was back on Namek. Meeting with Nero was one of them, and at some point he'd clear the air with Marimba, but he also needed to speak with Mollusc. He hadn't seen him since the day they all meet, where he told them that he was leaving... Mollusc had taken it better than Marimba, but still he wanted to make sure that things were okay between them, as well as all the rest.
Gandigan had plans. For all the pain he had caused on Namek, he decided that it was time to make things right, or at least try to. He wanted to do some real good, and had finally come up with a way that he might be able to do that. To succeed, he was going to need some help. Nero would be the number one person to go, thanks to his magic, but Gandigan had need of warriors too.
"Mollusc... this is Gandigan. I've returned to Namek, as whole as you remember. I want to meet with you, if you would. You can find me in the First Scar. There is a great black disc where warriors of old met to settle disputes; you can find me waiting for you there. There is much that I would like to tell you."
Mollusc had just returned to Namek, he had been learning about Earth's culture for a while and training his mind and spirit. However, it was time to return home. It was especially important when it seemed Earth was about to have these elections. He didn't want to be around hearing about Earth deciding a leader. He should only be focused on the people of Namek. Trying to help Earth decide on a new leader while it may be the right thing (based on how Earth was a planet), would is not his place. He should not speak upon it nor voice any concerns about any up-and-coming leaders. When he did land back on Namek, he got a message from Gandigan to meet him at the First Scar.
Molluscs knew it must be important if Gandgian went to contact him. From what he knew, Gandigan just went MIA after he left Namek to return to Konats. So his return to Earth and him actually being Gandigan must have meant that he A. didn't Erase himself and B. Now had some sort of new purpose. Though the line about settling disputes, it must have meant he picked the spot because they are hashing their disagreements. Though as well, this important information? Why was he trusted beyond someone like Nero? Maybe he planned to tell him as well or maybe it was only for his ears. He wanted to believe in the best of the Namek warrior but he knew to be cautious. Arriving at the meeting spot Mollusc gave a nod to Gandigan. "It is good to see you old friend. I can sense you are much stronger than you were before. I assume you have been training out in space? That explain the increase in strength."

Upon Mollusc's arrival to the First Scar, Gandigan returned his nod with one of his own. He wasn't sure about Mollusc's temperate to him, however it seemed positive enough. "Training? Aye, lots of it. You've probably already figured out that my memory remains with me. In the end, you and Nero were right. I couldn't move on by forgetting. Even if I did forget, my actions still happened. I need to find a way to atone for what I have done."
How much of Namek had bled because of him? Too much to think about. But that's why he had kept his memories: so that he'd never forget the pain. The pain would drive him to do great things. "I need to be strong for what comes next, but I'm not strong enough. That's why I've ask you to come here. I need your help with something that I have planned..."
He wasn't sure how Mollusc would react to what he had to say next. He seemed like a good fellow, but hatred between clans ran deep among certain folk. As many Namekians as there were who wanted to bridge the divide, there were an equal amount who'd fight to keep it. Was Mollusc one of them? He hoped not. "This may be a bit of a shock but... well... I want to construct a city, and I want your help in doing so. I haven't thought of a name yet, but that's not important right now."
There wasn't any point in holding back the details; if Mollusc agreed to help then he'd find them all about anyway. "The old castle in the Outer Plait; you know of it? So many different fools have tried to conquer it. The castle needs a new start, so that's where the city will be built. I want this city to be even grander than Dend, to serve as a monument to all of our people. I want to settle it with Mazoku, Dragon and Warrior clansmen. Some people may be opposed to this plan, which is why I need defenders."
“I am glad your going to try to move on. Never Forget, but always move forward. Take what happened in the past and use it to bring yourself to a new future.” Mollusc shook his head. He was glad Gandigan mindset had grown just as much as their power. Speaking of power, he proclaimed for his future he needed to grow in power. He had some grand plan and it required his strength to rise and it seemed he would also need Mollusc’s power. He would nod his head. “I am listening. I’ll do whatever I can to help you.” He was still not sure what Gandigan’s request was going to be but assuming by his attitude he was thinking it was going to be a good cause.
Gandigan then explained his plan, he was going to create a brand new city. He was first going to rip apart the old castle and use that area to create a city that maybe would even surpass the Dend Captail. With that, it would be a city that could unite all three clans under one banner. He also imaged it would be helpful to the Mazoku as a whole to have an actually function city they could live in. “Well, I am willing to help but you should consider talking to Nero and Marmbia. Those are the two to really ask. Nero is the Guru afterall, so getting his ok seems to be wise so he can also unite the clans more. Marmbia is the strongest Mazoku beside you and he is semi opposed to other clans of Namek’s. So if you can hash it with those two and then the clans of the Mazoku it should be fine. If thats the case then I’ll make sure to protect this new city of yours.”

Mollusc was just as open to his idea as Gandigan could have hoped; it would seem he was the kind of the Namekian he had believed him to be. Nero and Marimba quickly came up, to which Gandigan had two different answers. "Yes, speaking to Nero will be very important to me, for a number of reasons. His magic will be vital to help build the city itself, as I'd rather not have to tear down our forests or build stone quarries. His word will carry a lot of weight among the clans as well."
As for Marimba... that was a more difficult topic. "Marimba and I, well... you remember how things ended. I don't hold anything against him personally, though I'm not sure if he's ready to see me. Have you spoken to him since then? I would like to clear things up with him, but I don't want to get into any fights right now."
His point was true though; Marimba would carry weight among the Mazoku, and he needed that. Gandigan was an outsider even among his own kind. They would view him as such, so having someone a bit more in tune with their community would be incredibly important for him moving forward. "I do believe that if I speak to him, I'll be able to bring him on board. The division between our people has existed for far too long now. I'm sure he knows that too."
He would hate for conflict to break out between himself and Marimba, but if the Mazoku threatened his city... he would make the only choice he could. "I'm glad that you offer your support, but there is another thing I would ask of you. I know that you were somewhat of a hermit, however your voice would be just as valuable as your fists for our cause. Many of the Dragon and Warrior Clans distrust our kind. I want this to be a city for all Namekians, which includes them, however I worry that they may fear living with us. Could you speak to them for us?"
"Yes, Nero is the one you need to connect with to get this all done. Nero is the leader of the clans it seems like right now. He may not be a Namekian but he has the Namek Spirit. He is going to be the one to unite the clans I am sure of it. Especially since he has defended the planet more than once which is more than I can see many of Namek Kin. That even includes me." Mollusc shook his head. It was true as well that having his support and magic would make it easier to repair any damage caused by the rebuilding of the castle into a grand city.
As for Marmbia, Mollusc shook his head. "No, I have not met him since our training. I have been off on Earth trying to improve myself and learn more about the universe. I only had my views on Namek. It was time that I expanded. I became stagnant in my vision just living on my own and being on Namek. In fact, I had just returned to the planet when you contacted me." Mollusc shook his head. "However, I am sure Marmbia will listen. It will just take a bit of effort. He fights for the Mazoku people, I am unsure if he really loves the rest of Namek." Mollusc glanced "But as long as all the clans are equal and that can be protected I am sure he will follow through."
Gandigan then wanted his support not just for his fists but he wanted him for his voice. The Dragon Caste and Warrior Caste distrust the Mazoku and he wanted his help to speak to them. "I am just of the Warrior Clan. Marmbia made the same mistake. I am still unsure what my features are like this. They are not of the warrior clan, despite my blood." Mollusc shook his head. "Either way, I will speak to the people of Namek. I am unsure how much I can help with that but with Marmbia, myself and Nero's support I am sure we can get most of the people of Namek to support the city."

"I agree with your views on Nero, however It is fair to say that not every Namekian views Nero as their Guru. Many of my Mazoku brothers dislike having a non-Namekian as Guru, and more will outright reject him. This is part of the reason why I want to move forward with this project, to bring them into the fold. Nero has made strong strides as Guru so far, but he won't be a true Guru until he's able to gain the support of the Mazoku people as well."
Gandigan was surprised to hear that Mollusc had left Namek as well, though he could understand his reasoning. "My travels helped me to grow as well. I hope that in time other Namekians, especially Mazoku, will see things the same. I plan on building roads, and in time another space port in the Outer Plait, to encourage exploration for our people." It was all very ambitious, but with the support of Nero and Mollusc he was feeling more confident now.
"I hope that you're right about Marimba. I will attempt to seek him out, and see if he is interested in supporting this cause. I plan to venture out into the Outer Plait soon, and began recruitment for this project. I will attempt to bring as many clans as I can to populate this new city, and hopefully I'll find Marimba along the way."
He could hear the doubt in Mollusc's words as he described himself compared to the other Warriors. "I understand how you feel. My own appearance, even among Mazoku stands out. Speak true, and I'm sure you'll find some who will listen. Even if it's just a hand full, that would make a good start. If we can prove this model to be successful then others will come. Seek out those who are dissatisfied with life and want a fresh start."
Gandigan used his magic to materialize a stick, which he stuck into the soil. "I should give you more details on what I plan." Gandigan started by sketching a small castle, to represent the old castle in the Outer Plait. "This will be our town hall. It will be used for public debate, as well as the home of a new guardian force." This force was something that Gandigan had been thinking about for a while now, and he hoped Mollusc would be apart of it.
"This project... will have it's enemies. Some Mazoku will dislike our efforts, and might try to attack us. I want to create a combat unit made up of Warriors, Dragons and Mazoku, and I would like for you to lead this force. I hope to assemble a group of two hundred at least to begin with. They will navigate the walls of the city and defend it against any threats." Gandigan moved his stick down south, drawing a line in the soil.
"These will be our great roads, which will connect this city to Dend, and later others. I want to build watch towers every thousand feet, filled with two or three guardians, so that even the most feeble of Namekians can feel safe to travel. No more will banditry prevail in the Outer Plait."
“Hmp. I image most do. But you are right some will not. They are those who will not support anyone they don’t see as a ‘Namekian’ as our leader. But he is a Namekian in name, not blood. Even if he done more then namek for most they may be those who just never can accept it. I hope one day soon that will no longer be a concern.” Regardless, his support would get most of Namek’s support behind it. Of course Gandigan had to get his support. He had just returned from a long trip. He was sure he would need to prove himself to Nero and the other Namekians he could be trusted. But then they shifted to Marmbia. Unlike Nero it was going to be a lot harder. Nero seemed to be quite forgiving as compared to Marmbia. So that was also going to be a hurdle. But a recruitment drive of the Mazoku in the area should bring him out to at least speak to Gandgian.
Mollusc nodded along as Gandigan made note of his plan to build up his kingdom. Like making roads and space ports so they could get more people out into the Plait region. Furthermore he began to show off his idea of the city. The town hall that would allow people to discuss issues and where the public defense force would be located. He explained that the city would need defended just in case they were those who disliked the city and how he wanted Mollusc to be the one to defend the city. The leader of all the warriors he planned to recruit. Mollusc nodded. “I can do that Gandigan. Of course.” That was in his skill set but it was a big honor. He glanced at his hands for a moment. He would need to get even stronger to defend not only Gandigan dream but the dreams of all his Namekian kin.
"I hope that you are proven correct. The Mazoku can be difficult people, but I believe that in time their trust can be earned. The years of bad blood... well, they exist for a reason. There is fault on both sides, but that's in the past now. Time to move on and start something new." That was his goal now, and he'd put everything he had into getting there. With Mollusc's support in leading his new Guardian force that was one thing he could tick off the list of things he had to do.
"With that settled, I will take my leave. The brunt of the work is still yet to be done. I have to investigate the old castle and make sure it's clear of any bandits before we can start restoration on it. Same goes for the area around the castle, clearing it to make it safe. Then the foundations for the city need to be laid. For now I will continue to go into the Outer Plait and recruit Mazoku to our cause."
Gandigan offered out his hand to Mollusc before turning to leave. "You will know when the day comes where he put everything into action. I will send out a telepathic message to all those who have agreed to help me."
It was true there was bad blood because of past actions. Yet, it was a new future. The past few years they had done a much better job of uniting the clans. All of Namek was in a much better place. They still had a lot of work to do but Gandigan city was going to be one of those big steps to make things better. A city for the Mazoku? Even if the other clans were invited too, they would lead to a better connection among all the clans and do better by the Mazoku Clan. Anyway, with that they could take of everything they needed too. Gandigan needed to make the city and get both Nero and Marmbia’s support. Plus he had the area he needed to clear. The area needed to be clear of bandits. “When I head back to the capital I’ll take out some bandits ymself. Make srue the road is clear. And of course i’ll talk to any Mazoku, Dragon or Warrior caste I see along the roads. Make sure everyone know your plans so they don’t have to be confused or worried. Hopefully if any concerns are pressed I can then bring them to you.” Mollusc bowed his head to Gandgian and spun around to head out back towards the Capital.
