Megis was truly turning over every rock he could in his hunt to find whatever advantages he could over President Derry. That now included searching abandoned Tuffle bunkers; the existence of which only he would know about. That was because this particular bunker belonged to his creator, the now dead Mikan. Before turning to magic, Mikan had been an esteemed scientist for the Tuffle government, though he was later forced to leave due to some ethical concerns.
He knew of a few projects that Mikan had overseen, like harvesting Saiyan children and transforming them into killing machines who could operate undercover on the enemies' side. He wasn't quite sure whether child assassins would help him much to win an election, but he hoped that Mikan had left behind some other treasures which could.
Mikan had only ever told Megis the location once, when he was "inebriated" while "meditating" with his new found friends, warning him that there was nothing left but smoke and rubble. But ever since he had heard that he wondered how much truth to it there was; maybe Mikan simply wanted to hide his past? Megis could recall a few moments where Mikan seemed to display some regret over what had happened, though he couldn't say whether it was regret at what he had done, or regret that he had to end it.
Deep in the Spinach Wastes he found what he was looking for; the site where his master had made his home on Earth. The rubble part was right; clearly some sort of explosion had gone off here, leaving most of the exterior in ruins. It doesn't appear that any sort of restoration effort was made either. Megis flew down and kicked away as much of the debris as he could, hoping to find some sort of bunker below. Tuffles always had bunkers, and sometimes bunkers beneath those bunkers. It didn't take long to find the steel hatch, darkened by whatever had caused the damage here, but still intact.
His first attempt at the hatch was a resounding failure; it didn't move so much as an inch. The second time round Megis refused to accept defeat, wrapping his arms around the handles several times over, until nothing was visible bar his own pink flesh. From there he dug his feet into the ground and trudged backwards. Megis and the hatch broke at the same time, with the Majin being flung backwards with his arms torn off, but the hatch door coming flying out at the same time. His prize awaited him... as soon as he put his arms back on.
