The Namekian announcer stepped forward onto the arena, giving the crowd a short wave before bowing. "Alright everyone, welcome back to the losers bracket, where second chances are used to their fullest, and tales of redemption are born!" The crowd cheered, more than ready to see who would be up to the plate first out of all of those exciting fighters!
"For this match, we have the Heran Erbia making his grand return! Opposing him will be the similarly brightly colored Shinjin, Cyprus!" The crowd cheered for the two fighters, with everyone in the audience eager to discover just how far the two would be able to push themselves in this match.
The announcer then took a step back, and addressed the two fighters directly before clearing the arena. "Okay! The winner of this fight will be decided by either knockout or ring-out. If the match has not naturally concluded by the time limit, then our panel of judges will independently determine a winner. The only other rule is that no form of flight may be used in the bout. If I am understood, then... Let the battle begin!"
The second round of the Loser's Bracket begins! This fight will end and be judged on Monday, June 12th if a winner has not yet been decided by either ring-out or knockout by then!
Cyprus had somehow won that first round. He was sure he would have lost but he was not going to take that chance away. He knew that he had learned from his mistakes. This time he was not going to hold back. He was going to use all his energy and power from the start. He was going to make sure to use his supreme power and put everyone in his place. He knew how strong the warriors of Namek were now, if he didn't focus it all right from the start of his battle then he was going to lose this fight. Especially since this new person had also won their first fight. If, they had lost their first fight and then pulled themselves back to this position? Then their spirit had to be strong alongside their bodies.
Cyrpus would step into the ring and his aura flared out as he powered up to his maximum right away. The Title of the arena was lifted up as Cyrpus focused his energy. "Good, this energy I am feeling right now. I am at maximum strength. The Damage from the last battle is already gone." Cyprus summoned two chains of energy and whipped them into the air. He was going to put on the gas right from the start as the whips shot forward to slam down on Eriba's chest and try to send him flying right out of the ring. If he got an easy win then he could avoid wasting a ton of energy.
The Heran mercenary grumbled under his breath as he stepped up into the arena once more. His last bout somehow got timed out, just as his headache got sorted out by that Saiyan Kabe, and whilst Erbia had won the fight... it didn't feel earned. But then again this whole "losers bracket" as they kept on bloody calling it still irked him. Although now his opponent was one of these Shinjin folks, these supposed godly types...
Although it seemed that simply being a "god" didn't mean the bastard was above trying to take a cheap shot right from the start! Some kind of energy chains whipping out from the guys hands... Erbia smirked as he let the chains strike into him, making him slide backwards a little, right before he went to wrap his hands around the Shinjins own weapons! "Nah, ain't gonna be that easy!" he bellowed as he tried to return the favour and hammer throw the Shinjin with his own chains!
He doubted it was going to work out quite that smoothly, but hey variety is the spice of life after all. And with a name like Cyprus, well let's just see how much of a tangy zest this supposed deity had in store for the crowd!

The Chian could slam into Eriba, but this Heran was strong. The blow was absorbed, and then his chains were grabbed. "Heh? Oh, you're much stronger than my last foe." Yes, his last foe had a lot of tricks, but it seemed like this fight would require him to find a way to overpower Eribia. He was sure that his defensive abilities could give him the edge. Of course, he still needed to scout more on this Heran's abilities. Cyrpus was thrown off his feet as Eriba ripped the chains forward and yanked him forward. "Oh, you're gonna try to throw me towards you...sadly that is not good enough to stop me." The chains would disconnect from his body as he was sent speeding forward towards Eriba. He would use the momentum Erbia had granted him to his advantage. Shooting forward, Cyrpus would unleash a barrage of punches right at the Heran warrior. "We will see what you got to show me yes? I hope your moves are not just brute force methods. I want to see some creative and powerful techquines. You must have some that can actually test me?" He wanted to lure Erbia out to use some of his stronger attacks to see if he could block the attacks with his barriers. Once he had that info, he was confident that this fight would be fully in his favor.
"Was more aiming for throwing you out of the ring, but towards me's just fine too!" the Heran declared as the Shinjin shot towards him like a living bullet. As the barrage of fists came in towards him, Erbia did his best to try and match each one with a fist of his own! Screw trying to block an attack with his forearms or anything sophisticated like that with this guy. Fist on fist action was where it was at! The resounding crack and crunch of their blows slamming into one another, the echoing waves reverberating from each and every impact... That was the stuff that fights were made of! Especially against a being who's species claimed to be gods.
The white haired beings words got Erbia thinking though, and he mentally looked back over the fight thus far. It seemed like Cyprus wanted Erbia to make the first serious move. Whether that was to try and gain a quicker upper hand in the bout, or because his opponents techniques needed him to act first was the main question here. Either way, one of them would have to make the first real move in this fight, or else it was going to be a slog fest war of attrition between them.
The fact that Cyprus seemed to be looking for "creative" techniques rather than brute force was also something to be wary of. People like that were usually looking for further tools to add to their own arsenals of techniques and skills. And in the mercenary pirate trade, such techniques and skills could mean the difference between victory or defeat... And Cyprus definitely seemed to look the part for a piratical figure. All that was missing was the stereotypical hat and maaaaybe a squawking bird to add to the shoulder.
With all of this in mind, Erbia decided to amuse himself and test this guys powers of observation. Slowly but surely, in increments, during their exchange of fists and blows, the Heran's physical form would begin to expand and become more defined. There wasn't any increase in his numbers, but his attacks would definitely be hitting harder now as he decided to go into his MAX Power state!

The barrage of blows was exchanged. He couldn’t get a good shot at the heran at least at first. Despite his attack, he was more than ready to meet it head-on with his own strikes! He weaved his head to avoid a few of the strikes that were thrown at his way but despite his efforts they cut across his face. ‘Dammit he is really is tough to deal with’ Cyprus growled in his mind. How was he going to take this guy apart? He didn’t exactly know yet but now the two of them were in the middle of clashing strikes. An opening would soon have to open itself. Indeed, an opening started to appear, bu it was not his foe that was becoming open. No, it was him who was now in the danger zone.
He could notice as Erbia muscles began to bulk up increasing his martial strength. As he tried to parry the strikes of the heran warrior he could no longer martial a defense. He would parry one blow but another slammed into his gut. He was sent flying backward as blood flew from his mouth “GUAH!” Cyprus grasped onto the ground. As he slammed to the ground, he would form some magical chains. He would whip the chains forward to try to wrap them around the arms of Erbia. He tries to pull the weapons forward to launch Erbia into the ground. Hopefully, that was going to allow him to deal with Erbia’s strength increase.
Erbia looked at the blood spilled from the Shinjins lips after his last strike, and couldn't help but smirk. "So, gods can bleed." the Heran chuckled as he cracked his neck from side to side. Things were starting to get interesting, especially with this little tidbit. Although of course it seems that this guy only has the one trick up his sleeve as more chains shot out towards the Heran. Specifically his arms.
The mercenary pirate let the chains connect them to one another, his mind already thinking up a counter-offensive even as the Shinjin used the chains to drag Erbia into the ground! The Heran stumbled forward before erupting in power, yanking on the chains in turn to try and rapidly draw Cyprus towards himself! "I kneel for nobody!" he declared as he tried to deliver a lariat cross into the Shinjin's throat, attempting to use their own chains against them like an extra layer of kinetic and concussive force!
After the lariat he would then try to follow it up with a left hook haymaker uppercut, his fist glowing with a hot white energy! The rules for this tournament prevented the combatants from flying, and victory would be achieved by either ring out or knock out or time out... but Erbia couldn't help but wonder how high someone could go before they counted as being out of bounds...

"And time!" declared the Namekian announcer as he rushed onto the stage, a loud gong also simultaneously ringing out from the other end of the arena. The battle had lingered on up through the time limit, and now it was time for the victor to be chosen through decision. "Please allow our judges to deliberate on the match for a few moments while they determine who the winner shall be."
A few moments passed, and, eventually, a slip of paper was delivered up to the announcer to be read to the crowd and contestants alike. He perused it for a moment, then nodded. "I see! Well, then! After much careful consideration, I would like to announce that the winner of this match shall be..."
The Namekian pointed up at the Shinjin. "Cyprus, the bright orange Shinjin from beyond our realm!" The crowd let out a cheer for Cyprus, and the Namekian clapped for him as well. "An excellent showing, sir! And you too as well, sir!" he added as he turned towards Erbia. "Please clap for our friend Erbia as well, who has performed admirably throughout the tournament!" The crowd cheered once more for Erbia, who had gained no small number of fans during his battles throughout the tournament.
"That is all for this battle, but please do not go anywhere, as the next and final round of the losers bracket shall commence shortly!"
