A massive, disk-like starship suddenly appears with a flicker of pseudo-motion as the newly commissioned Venerator, a Cruiser-class starship evoking the aesthetic sensibilities of ages past for the Empire begins a swift approach to the F.S.S Acheron 1, a star base that dwarfs the Venerator as though it were a starfighter hovering around a capital ship. This station, a triple layered design, once belonged to the Heran Fukushu, according to Terium's report.
Terium had killed Fukushu when the latter had returned to this star base wounded, after discovering Fukushu's plots towards the Empire. Since then, Terium had been unable to afford the station's upkeep, and had given over that responsibility to Ticoga - a responsibility he did not mind taking on at all. The Venerator connects to the Acheron via a docking umbilical, and Ticoga debarks his new ship to finally step onto what was essentially now his home away from Arcose itself.
And truth be told, as Ticoga walks the halls of the station, he believed that this may just be something he could accept. But Arcose would always be his home, and as the Shield of Arcose, always his responsibility to protect. Ticoga spent hours exploring the station, encountering hundreds of beings of innumerable different species as they go about their work. Eventually, Ticoga reaches the main command salon. The room is very wide, running in a smooth curve, and set upon several layers, each layer defined by rows of computers detailing every functioning aspect of the station. Leading forward directly from the entrance is a narrow walkway that leads up to another room built into the ceiling thirty or so feet above the second layer set lower from the first, descending like steps to the fourth layer.
Ticoga heads up the walkway, and enters the room attached to the ceiling - the Command Quarters, certainly. The Command Quarters was designed with function and form in mind, but obviously there were remnants of Fukushu's personal tastes in the decorating. Ticoga would eventually get around to changing that. For now, Ticoga heads to the communications terminal, and sends out a general invitation to all Imperial forces to come to the station if they so wished.
All the while, Sentry stands at the room's entrance like... well, a sentry.
