Taori listened as Vocado gave his own thoughts on the merits and downsides of the several ways they could tackle the potential occupation. Attacking immediately and by surprise could lead to a more successful initial assault, but would make it more difficulty to justify and potentially hold afterwards due to the tensions a sneak attack would no doubt bring, but trying to find allies on Earth could just as easily alert the enemy and give them a chance to prepare and bolster their defenses. It was a conundrum, to be sure. And as far as their firepower went, Taori was, currently, the only Super Saiyan in the Kingdom, as it was unlikely Nasu would agree to join them, and Lottus was, well, dead.
Taori placed a hand on his chin and appeared to be in deep thought for several moments until he finally spoke up again. "I'll meet with Derry," he proposed, "There's every chance he'll go quietly or agree to an alliance of some sort. But as you said... We'll be ready if he decides not to let go of his power." It'd be a foolish move of him, of course, but people in power rarely surrendered that power without a fight. Hell, it was the same with the seat of the Saiyan King - Taori would fight tooth and nail against anyone who tried to take the position from him, even if they may have been better suited for it.
"I think it'd be wiser not to spread our forces too thin right out the gate, though. Perhaps we can begin the assault and see what sorts of defenses Earth brings out, and if it ends up being nothing terribly unmanageable, we can divide the rest out to other major cities. That being said, there's no need to try and claim the entire planet in one fell swoop. Once their leader and capital falls, I imagine the rest of the planet will struggle to put up as much of a fight." Earthlings weren't exactly known for being powerful, after all. Taori had to imagine most would ultimately welcome being under the Kingdom's powerful protection.
"Aren't we a little worried about someone sneaking behind our backs and hitting Sadala again, though?" Alpinia suddenly chimed in. "I'm sure you two remember the last time we invaded another city, and well, it sort of left the capital wide open. It'd be great to get new territory and all, but someone's gonna have to stay on post here, or else we'll have to worry about a counterattack." Alpinia, frankly, did not relish the idea of staying behind and getting caught up in another invasion of Sadala.
