You’ll inform me when you’ve finished your ‘patrols’, yes? Came the telepathic response from her mother after Zerori had decided a visit to Arcose was in order. It had been some time since she’d heard from Ise and, in spite of her keeping the faith that she knew Ise would be fine, she couldn’t help but miss the visual-impaired woman. Besides, she didn’t want to let anyone think she wasn’t the ‘Royal Guard’ of Arcose - an absolutely self-proclaimed title that Ise and her had joked about months ago! Little did Ise know, however, that for the planet Ise loved unconditionally, there was little Zerori wouldn’t do for her. So, stalking the eclectic city as the brusque winds from the front coming in beat on the vendors that speckled the streets along the outskirts of the capital city.

Yeah, don't wait up!
Unbothered by the cold, Zerori was strutting her all 5 feet and 10 inches of her muscular self along the streets, stopping just short of the perimeter of the Royal Citadel that she would take a moment to ruefully stare at with her single visible eye before giving a sigh and turning to the general populace to stand watch for a while. As usual, her antics had her receiving looks of annoyance from the actual guards of the palace but Zerori paid them little mind - even going so far as to smirk in their direction and cross her arms.
After a few moments of standing still, however, Zerori would release a sigh of boredom - eliciting a scoff of laughter from one of the surrounding guards.
“Not enough action for you, Saiyan?” The taller of the guards teased, overshadowing Zerori by a good few feet while in his second form. The other guard, a spindly little thing that possessed more power than his True Form gave credit for, would sharply respond.
“You’d be wise to leave the work to the ones actually put in the position.”
Zerori rolled her eye before giving a shrug, “It’s not enough action, no, and that’s what makes me anxious. If you had any idea what was out there and how dangerous it could be you’d take all the help you can get. But hey,” She turned to the taller Arcosian. “-keep up the hard work as always! It’s a thankless job, isn’t it?” She smirked, earning a look of ire.
In spite of winning the battle, the retort she received never failed to make her realize that she’d never truly win the war of respect from this planet, “You’ll never truly have a place here. Not even with the support of ONE of the Triumvirate.” That dropped her smirk immediately, taking nearly all of Zerori’s self-control not to lash out in the face of the truth.
“... We’ll see.”
