Night City Skylines

A peaceful scene; the blackened night sky, illuminated not by stars but by the pollution of lights the City of Lux produced. While hover cars silently zoomed down freeways with naught but the sheering of wind to give away their presence, the near constant sound of distant sirens left hardly a moment for those less adapted to the city to enjoy the peace. This was no tourist destination, this was the City of Lux; the technological capital of Konats, and one of the largest places of business and trade across the galaxy.

High atop one of the many skyscrapers the city held, sat in a chair upon the balcony of a rented suite was Regalia; masked, hood on, fiddling with a device that sat center upon the table before her. Held securely within the device, a familiar crystal from a not too distance cavern; though the cut of this particular crystal suggested refinement. She girl fiddled a bit more with her device, attaching wires, activating smaller devices nearby to interact with the main one, until-

Ba-dum, ba-dum, ba-dum...

A rhythmic pulse of energy, same as the crystals from the Amp Cavern, but amplified. The pulsating would increase in power, giving off an invisible aura only felt by those capable of sensing energy. Nearby devices attached to the main unit would dampen and scramble any attempt to get a read on the energy, or even pick up the pulsating energy at all when using any technology similar to a scouter. This artificial pulsating of energy would only be capable of being felt by natural means, and that was exactly what Regalia wanted.

Now, all she could do was play the waiting game; she'd sit back casually in her chair, kicking her feet up onto the table as she pulled a small device from her pocket to look it over. A communicator, exact in design to the one she'd given Salvo; she'd yet to receive any messages from the pirate, but if the reports she'd received since meeting them in the cavern were to be believed, the woman kept her end of the bargain. Regalia had found much to be interested in during that encounter, though hadn't taken the time to examine anything in the moment with how convoluted things had gotten. In the end, she really wanted to study the bio-mechanical dinosaur, but the next thing that caught her interest was the girl that was literally absorbing energy right out of the crystals.

If the girl was as hungry as she seemed in the cave, Regalia hoped this snack would be enough to bring the two together once more; though, the form Jinx would meet this time would be a bit different.
