Usumidori had told him one day. One day and they'd launch their attack, and yet that time had come and gone. He didn't know if that was a blessing or a curse, but he wouldn't waste time philosophizing over it. He had a little more time left before things went down, so he decided to travel back out to the scar in the hopes that maybe he could find the answers he was looking for. This time he decided to try and approach the Mazoku more directly, in the hopes that they might actually work with him on this.
He hadn't forgotten about the two names he had received on Konats: Cello and Marimba. Both were said to be Mazoku, and either one of them could be involved in this gang that he was investigating. Upon coming across the first village out in the Scar those were the first two names he uttered to the curious Mazoku who had come to greet him. Unfortunately nobody there had heard of either, or maybe they just weren't willing to share. Gandigan wasn't willing to get into a fight over it; it'd be quicker to simply move onto the next village.
So Gandigan spent the next few hours travelling through the Scar, occasionally stopping at one of the many isolated villages to ask in anyone had heard of the people he was searching for. It crossed into midday before he finally got a decent lead, with a lone hermit not too far from where he had met Mollusc giving away a bit of information. Apparently he once had heard of a warrior named Cello, though he had been seen on Namek in quite some time.
Marimba however was more recent, having next Namek not too long ago. The old Namekian wasn't sure whether or not he had returned, though he did point in the direction of where the Mazoku had been known to stay back then. Gandigan bowed his head and thanks him for the information before leaving to find Marimba. He walked for about another hour in the direction of where the old Namekian had pointed before coming across what appeared to be a cave in the distance.
Gandigan wanted to be careful in his approach; he wanted to try and take things slow and do this the right way, but he didn't have the time for that. Whoever was here was going to answer for what had happened to him, and should Porunga look down upon him favorably, they may even have a cure. Having made up his mind Gandigan moved forward towards the cave, determined to find whoever may be resting there. "Who goes there? Reveal yourself to me!"
