Power Outage [CONQUEST AT]

Salvo did raise an eyebrow as the furrow yellow fellow could only reply to her confusion with a straightforward "yes," though she only shot the creature a brief look and frown before returning her attention to the more important matters at hand. Namely, the prepubescent nuclear bomb that they were all sort of having to dance lightly around.

Luckily, as far as weapons of mass destruction went, this one actually seemed pretty agreeable. It looked like she was on board for what Salvo was proposing! Sure, maybe it meant they couldn't totally clear out the mine like had been originally planned, but part of being a successful pirate meant knowing when to fold 'em and cash out.

And, in Salvo's opinion, right about now was prime folding time.

The Heran caught Zuqetta's conjured-up communicator and admired it in her hand, briefly. Was everyone on this planet capable of just summoning objects to their hands? Salvo figured she ought to learn how to do that herself sometime if everyone was making it look so easy. The communicator, the Saiyan explained, was in case Salvo ever had a need for some 'bigger guns' on her side. Salvo gave Zuqetta a grin, showing up her jagged yet pearly white fangs. "Ha! I might 'ave to take ye up on that at some point!" With a monkey this strong on Salvo's side, there were probably few heists she couldn't pull off.

Wasn't long after that that the monkey of the hour turned her back rather intentional-like to everything that was going on in the cavern, and Salvo turned towards Jinx. "A'right, Jinx, 'tis now or never. You get to suckin' up yer energy or what have you, and I'll call in me crew to start haulin' the booty onto me ship. 'Course, the Saiyan lass wants twenty percent, so for me, we'll be takin'... Thirty? That leaves fifty for you. Should be fair, aye?"

Salvo didn't wait for a response from the Majin, though, as she brought up a separate communication device to her mouth. "'Tis the captain speakin', bring yer booties down here and start haulin' ass! We're low on time, so ye best be quick 'bout it." It sure didn't take very long after that before a massive ship descended just outside the mine, and only a few moments after that did an Earthling and a Saiyan come running in, both quite tall and muscular, but low in actual power level. Each had their own wheelbarrow, too. "Aright, Romaine, ye take that end, and Seiggev, ye take that end! Be hasty about it, yeah? And don't touch any 'o the crystals in that area over there," Salvo barked at her men, pointing off in various directions as she spoke. They were quite quick to obey, obviously. 

The Heran then turned to the Majin with her arms crossed. "Ye best get eatin', lass! Don't assume that Saiyan is gonna let us linger about for forever, y'know."

And with that, everything seemed all wrapped up nicely with a cute little bow on top. Jinx was happy - or at least seemed to be mostly happy, the robot dog was probably happy - or was it a dinosaur? Salvo hadn't paid enough attention to it to know for sure. Either way, it was gone, happy or not. And Salvo, too, was happy. Both with herself for her, frankly, impressive negotiating skills, and for the fact that after she sold off these gems, she and her crew were going to be much, much richer. They were absolutely going to be having a veritable feast tonight!

"Take care 'a yerself, lassie!" she called out after Jinx as the Majin left. She liked that girl. Hopefully she'd have another job for her sometime in the near future. And speaking of girls Salvo liked, the ludicrously powerful Saiyan also spoke to her one last time. "Zuqetta, eh? I'll remember that," Salvo replied with a nod to the younger girl. She liked mercenaries that were willing to adapt to the circumstances of the job in the way Zuqetta had. Much better than sticks in the mud who were always most loyal to whoever had hired their services first. 

Zuqetta also left shortly after that, leaving Salvo alone with a cave full of very valuable crystals. Which was, admittedly, a bit of a tempting position for Salvo to be in. Make no mistake, Salvo absolutely pondered whether or not she could get away with just making off with all the rest of them anyway... But decided it'd be better to keep the trust of the allies she'd just made.

Who knew if that trust might be useful at some point in the future? 

The Heran did bend over and pick up one small, gleaming crystal off the ground that was about the size of her thumb. It must've chipped off one of the rocks being hauled around by her boys, or something. A good souvenir for the occasion, she thought as she stuffed it in her pocket. Might make a nice necklace or earring, later. And with that, Salvo exited the cavern properly, where she was greeted by her ship and crew, who were all quite happy with how things had gone.

"A'right, lads and lassies," she announced to them, "Tonight, we're gunna eat like kings!"
