The Shrine of Porunga had a certain... aura about it. Gandigan had no connection that he knew of to the massive statue, and yet he found himself drawn to it. The Namekians are naturally magically people, so it wouldn't surprise him if they had imbued the shrine with some sort of power that was beyond his understanding. He also knew that the spot made for a natural attraction, with more than a few pods choosing to land near this area.
A part of him wished to have a greater understanding of his kind, though the other part was afraid that the rest of his people wouldn't accept him. He had gone through a lot of changes on Konats, and he had to wonder whether or not he would still even be considered a Namekian after what the Kashvar had done to him. Eventually he was going to be forced to interact with his kind, but until then he was happy being away from them.
His thoughts were interrupted by a sudden spark going off in his mind. At first the feeling was faint, though he quickly realized that the source was growing stronger, and getting closer. When he realized that the feeling was coming from the sky he realized pretty quickly what was happening: someone was entering orbit. He couldn't tell from here how many people were aboard the vessel, but one power did stand out to him as being particularly great.
Gandigan had to think quickly, rushing behind the Shrine in an effort to hide himself. If the visitors could sense powers then they'd find him rather quickly, but Gandigan had learnt that energy detection was not a given among other species. If worse came to worse he felt comfortable with defending himself, though he had little experience in real fights and would rather avoid that if possible. He kept his eyes up in the sky, waiting to catch sight of what was to come.
