I Need a Hero (Open AT)

Whilst she wasn't entirely certain that her words and actions were having any direct effect on the Saiyan, her ruse so far was at least working on the bearded man she had tried to remove the duplicates of earlier. And the young lady's file who's form she was borrowing seemed enough for the time being to convince the more officious man as to her "authenticity". At least enough to evade those damned shackles for the moment.

For the time being it was probably best to not press her luck and get going whilst it was safe to do so... Which is a damned shame cus she would very much have liked to acquire a fresh sample of that powerful woman's blood. A person like her, who's energies reeked of the divine... Yes they would have proven very useful to her efforts... And who knows when she'd meet the woman ever again? No, this was a rare opportunity that she could not let slip past her fingers. But this damned officer of the Earthen law was an issue, as well as the reticent Saiyan warrior alongside them.

Just as she was preparing to make her next move, the sky erupted with fire, the shadows in the alley altered briefly for a blinks worth of time... which would show in that blinking moment that the young flower girls shadow possibly didn't quite match her appearance. But that wasn't Qarinah's primary concern right now. The new knowledge that the woman who's blood she wanted wielded fire on that scale, meant that any injuries inflicted on her by her fellow demon would have been damned cauterised by now... Which rendered her nonviable as a blood source.

Her eyes widened appropriately at the ring of flame passing over the horizon and gave a bow of her head towards the bearded officer of the law. "I think I'll d-do just that sir... R-Run that is. Don't w-wanna distract a-any more of y-your people..." the disguised demon stated, before reaching behind her back and with a magicians flourish produced a single red rose. She then tried to place said rose behind Celerous' ear, going on her tippy toes in the process given their height differences.

"F-For showing me such k-kindness sir a-and not lockin' me up..." Qarinah explained, using the advantage of the thorns to try and collect covertly some blood from the Saiyan. "S-Sorry about the thorns sir!" she quickly apologised before giving another bow and started to turn before stopping... She turned on the spot and nervously walked up to the bearded one, and tried to give them a rose as well. "S-Sorry for a-all the fuss sir..." Qarinah said, as she tried to repeat the process of covertly obtaining blood from this individual as well. He may not be on the list of races, but he met her power requirements at least...

With that done, she would try to give another bow of apology and begin to try and make her quick departure as so kindly suggested by the bearded officer of the law.

It seemed everyone was working in unison, able to focus on the singular threat at hand now that the surprise attacker was silent. Russ beautifully dispersed his own threats with a bit of quick thinking and retaliation, beautiful to see. Nothing even touched the top of that blue head yet. And Marshall's help was appreciated. Surprisingly actually harming the threat enough to give her a clear shot at an opening. If Sesame wasn't on her level, he'd probably have ended there. But... He had an answer to the densest of her techniques.

"Good job! Just don't overextend!"
Even Russ was a fair deal weaker than Sesame, there was no doubt in her mind leaving Sesame alone for a second would let him get an upper hand on any other fighter present. Cel was busy too, but she worried even he might have a little trouble.

Lingering in the air for just a second, the tiring demon launched another ranged punch down at her position. If she moved, it'd tear through a building and then some. Possibly a whole block. Empowered by the burning sun, she had options to retort against such a blow. Hovering in the air, she'd stand tall against it and bring an arm up to block its impact. Only being shoved a few meters back before she swung the arm out in an arc. Sending the concussive sonic force into the air.

"Try again!"
With that arm still outstretched her burning aura and the flames encircling her in the Sparking Heat Technique start to roll into an orb over her open hand. Forming a ball, not unlike a Flare she shot out alongside the Burning Smite. Rather than push this into an arcing beam though she'd swing the hand back. Throwing a wave of ki-infused flame back up at Sesame. It'd be hard for anyone to get out of the way of such a large cone of flame. With it, the fire she was burning went with it to empower its sheer volume of flame.

She wasn't messing this time with him.

Sesame looked worse for wear, mostly everyone worked together to weaken the bastard and Jackie's technique left burning scars on the guy... Ouch. In spite of overwhelming odds, he is still alive and kicking. Not that Russ wanted Sesame dead of course but his tenacity is impressive. Man is he forious, he used that irritating sound blast again, this time Jackie is in danger of losing her eardrums if she doesn't do anything about it. She snuffed out the technique and tried to burn Sesame into ashes with all her might.

Russ can feel her rage..a far cry from the level-headed friend he knew. Does Jackie and Sesame have unresolved business he knew nothing about? Or Is his presence here igniting her fury? Is she being overprotective of his well being? Considering how much she lost recently...who can blame her. Russ need to make sure Jackie keeps a lid on her temper...or she'll do something she will regret for the rest of her life.

Officer Gramps convinced a "civilian" to skip town for their own safety, she took his and Celerous blood samples right under their nose. That saiyan kid is still here spectating their battle, at some point he did attack Sesame earlier but ceased fire to let the pros handle it, a wise decision. Russ wanted to drag this kid out of the city himself but he didnt have to thankfully, Marshall is taking care of him.

Russ used his Four Arms ability to grow two extra arms from his upper backside. Large energy spheres with a blue hue are held in each hand as the young saiyan grew a cocky smile. "One, Two, Three, Four! I declare a thumb war!" He threw the balls at Sesame in the mist of his quipping to inflict more damage. At best it will stun and distract him...at worst he will be tickled and annoyed.

Sesame fired his fist forward to strike Jackie but the blow seemed to been blocked by Jackie’s aura. She was really a powerhouse. If this was a one on one fight maybe he’d have a good chance. But it was not, he didn’t care. He had come here to find a hero. He had a lot of choices but he was being dragged around. He couldn’t get that exact fight with a hero he wanted. Jackie was still so strong. He had expected to be able to land something! Instead he was meet by a massive blast of flame which torched him. Sesame began to fall back towards the ground his eyes rolling back as he began to fall back towards the ground. He was getting to the limit, and there was alot he was going to have to deal with.

As he was falling back towards the ground he began to sense energy coming his way. A series of four ki blasts slammed him into chest first while he was falling from Jackie’s attack. He was carried back towards the ground hard smashing into the side of a building as he careened to the city center he started his rampage at. He would lay there a few moments as the wound on his chest had fully reopened blood and magic spewed from his body like a unchecked fountain. He would slowly push himself to his own feet looking up towards Russ and Jackie. “This is not it..no no no. I can’t hear the sound I’m looking for. Your broken.. Both you been so hurt before. I remember your power at hte lookout. I was not there but I remember it from above. Before Fend was able to strike me down.” He glanced at Russ. “And you were felled by Marrow’s hand before. When you tried to be the lead act. To protect the people. You failed. I didn’t even have to step in.” Sesame would finally get to his feet.

“The Saiyan who been watching this whole fear quivering in his soul because there nothing he can do in this battle. The Old man who has pelted me again and again from a distance. A man of inaction. That all I see.” It was not as if Sesame was making any sense. What did the past matter to the present? Or that Marshall was smartly keeping his distance. A more sane Sesame might of appreciated that nuisance, to be aware his foe was being wise. But Sesame had lost it. “If I can’t have the sound I’m looking for…then this is city is going to be blown to dust.” Sesame aura rose once more as he crossed his arms to his chest. Ki sparked off his body before he would unleash an explosive wave of energy aiming to rip and sunder the city around him to shreds. It was not an easy attack to defend agiasnt at least in terms of keeping the city as a whole undamaged and keeping any straggler safe. A barbaric approach for the one collected and calm assassin.

"That ain't what I meant," Marshall replied flatly. "But if yer gonna be a smartass about things rather than realize what kinda situation this is, I'm gonna ask you leave." The Terran glanced over in time to see Sesame's barrage against the city itself. While Jackie and Russ were doing their best to keep the Demon contained, if they didn't finish him off soon, it'd be bad news for South City. "I wouldn't WANT ya to get close in the first place. Keep yer head down and take shots while he's distracted. That clear enough for ya? Otherwise, scram. I'd rather not add another body to the count later."

He couldn't stay away. Sesame had grown too volatile, too explosive. "Pull back the chopper," He grunted, glancing down momentarily to swipe at his projected holopad. "No way for it to enter that bubble without becoming a liability." Looks like he'd have to do things the old-fashioned way. While Jackie was wise in keeping the damage away from the city and into the sky, it also meant Marshall would have a much harder time contributing in any significant manner. The man broke into a sprint, popping open a capsule to reveal an energy rifle that he hurriedly began to load. A few well-placed shots would either serve as a distraction or be the final piece of chip damage they'd need to put Sesame down.

Tomoma paid the older man some time. He seemed to be further explaining himself, however his points were mixed into both asking Tomoma to leave and to take shots when the enemies guard was down. Tomoma just filtered out the other comments since either they were slanderous or just not useful to him. "I'll take the shot when I get a-" Tomoma began before the red haired fighter released a bubble made of pure light.

"The hell is that?" The curious teen muttered looking towards the bright sphere covering both the invader and the red haired girl. "That's producing a lot of light they should try using that to power solar panels during night" Tomoma mutter pulling out his notepad and adding 'Light Source' next to the crudely drawn picture of the girl.

Finally the Bearded man would speak about becoming a liability down there. Tomoma put away his note pad and looked towards the man. "In fairness. We became liabilities the moment we step foot in the area. Although you less so than I. Not by a large margin mind you" Tomoma explained looking towards the fight. "It's sad to say that this Alien is about to get the hero he asked for, but I think his goal was to hurt the hero too, which isn't going to well for the pink guy" Tomoma added as he watched the blue haired man's hands slam against the barrier. "Guess he wasn't invited to their little dance either" Tomoma muttered under his breath as he awaited the fighters next move. Only half conscious of the man next to him trying to regain control of the helicopter and ready up another assault.
