I Need a Hero (Open AT)

Working in tandem with a friend to punch a baddie will never get old. Russ was treating Sesame like a juggling act from a damn circus, slugging the demon felt good. Sesame was apparently enjoying it too and it's evident he couldn't fly, Russ watched his failing attempts to fall with style and saw Celerous protect a Marshall clone from a random stray attack. He left to track down the vixen who tried to dwindle their numbers from the shadows. "Take em out quick! Don't be away for too long!" Celerous is stronger than him, he should be on the front lines giving Sesame a well-deserved knuckle sandwich.

'Go on, I'll be with you in a sec.' He replied, the old guy's life is still in danger! Another energy wave splitting off from its original sister and heading for another clone to destroy him, well not on his watch! Russ disappeared and reappeared in front of Marshall and absorbed the attack without a scratch on him. A blue ki barrier aura surrounds the young Saiyan, he didn't take his eyes off Jackie and Sesame flee the scene. "Go hide behind cover old man. Let us handle this." he kept it short and straight to the point.

Russ flew up in the air and followed Jackie and Sesame to provide the Kami some backup.

Tomoma watched as the events played out. His aimless flying lead him towards the back side of the demon before anything had finally taken place. Tomoma was almost confused himself as the current spectator. Two beams had shot out. Each of which had the intent to either kill or heavily damage the senior citizen on the field. Tomoma grimaced as the beams grew closer and closer to the old man, however they were to fast. Tomoma was just too far to even warrant screaming out, however to his surprise the two people with similar tails to his own blocked each beam before they met their mark. Tomoma was even more surprised that the two who had taken the hits didn't seem in the least bit phased. They seemed angrier than before even.

"These guys aren't your typical heroes" Tomoma commented putting his note pad and pen away. He had just about enough of the destroyed city's views. They'd faltered in getting the creature off the ground. Now they were also being assaulted by an unknown force. Although Tomoma did have assumptions he couldn't make them fast enough and the brown haired man seemed to wander off to handle the issue at hand by his lonesome.

Tomoma on the other hand was slowly getting less and less happy with his situation. Not only did he feel like a sitting duck, but now there was one less fighter capable of taking down the creature before them.

Finally Tomoma mustered the courage to stretch his arms from his sides to the elevation of his shoulders. His palms stretched upwards as ki began to form into disc like shapes "Death Saucer" Tomoma mumbled in a low tone. It took more focus that Tomoma was use to, however it wasn't impossible. He decided that if he was going to be there he might as well take the edge off the better fighters.

In a moment Tomoma's right hand reached back throwing the disc towards the back of the creature with his left hand following suit. The disc quickly cut through the air like nothing making their way towards their opponent in a vertical form. The disk themselves were in a vertical position when thrown for a few reasons. Tomoma knew if he went with the normal horizontal throw it's be harder for the others to dodge, and the vertical version was a lot more discrete. Being behind the creature he could only hope the others saw what he was doing and had time to dodge in case the creature caught on. Although only time would tell.


TL;DR After flying around the area Tomoma was behind Sesame while all the fighting was going down. Seeing a moment of pause Tomoma himself would send two death saucers to the back of Sesame's back in hopes of once again making the creature fumble or stumble.

Well... that went south about as quickly as she had expected it to, although she had hoped to maybe take out at least one of the bastards clones of himself before it all went to proverbial hell. Now one of the powerhouses was closing in on her in the alleyway... Admittedly not the best case scenario, but... the demon wasn't without her tricks.

Thankfully it wasn't a dead end alleyway, so this might be able to be pulled off... One quick glamour illusion later, the now long haired brunette, in a light pink dress and red crop jacket stumbled from around the corner turn of the alleyway she was in, falling to the floor. The idea was to make it look as though she had been shoved to the ground by someone else fleeing the scene... she even added some bruising and dust to her illusion to seal the deal. Her unseen wings were wrapped around her shoulders to help the image of a leather crop jacket for texture at least...

"S-Somethin'... somethin' j-just went that w-way..." Qarinah stammered out, pointing in the direction she'd been "shoved" from, before looking up at the imposing figure of the creeping large Saiyan man. She gave a terrified squeak and curled into herself, as if afraid of the large dangerous looking man stalking the alley during the middle of a battle! "D-Don't hurt me! Please!" the disguised demon cried out in fright, a single tear rolling down her cheek.

Their strikes would come head to head a few times, lighting up the city with brilliant whipping flames before settling down back into normal strikes. He certainly either got stronger, or she had stayed flat in power for that time. His words did not really explain much to her either other than maybe baser sadism. He was a lot more coherent the last time, and from Russ's account, the time after that. She throws herself back into a less aggressive stance and prepares herself for a retaliatory set of hits.

"You just want to hear a 'Hero' suffer? Something's got a screw loose in your head!"
An arm would raise to take the brunt of his kip up kick, pulling her body with the force to dampen it against an equal foe before trying to slam her fist back at his face. Aiming to get a few quick jabs with that offhand before rising into an uppercut with the previously blocking hand. Soon enough, Russ was on her six to help with this. Just give a few moments she could give him a little something to really send him away.

"Russ, open up his guard. I'll give him what he's practically asking for right out the gate!"
She telepathically connected with Russ solely this time, to give Cel some time to think without interruption. Making sure to keep Sesame's focus on her and not the aide flying just overhead.

The Sound of a Hero... Did he hear that right? Sesame mentioned looking for sounds of a heroic being before the battle started, Russ thought it was just a bunch of villainous pre-butt-kicking one-liners. Nope! This guy wants to take out their symbol of hope disguised as a metaphorical music fetish. In simple terms, destroy a hero with the biggest noble heart, and everyone else will either get pissed off or crap their pants. Sesame tries to kick Jackie and the spunky redhead used a string of combos to push back with equal might. She tells her guardian in training to tear down Sesames defenses, she is preparing something special for their demonic friend in due time.

Russ smiled and punched an open hand, having no problems being a distraction. 'Leave it to me I got this!' replying back in telepathy. The blue-haired crusader's speed towards Sesame was comparable to a missle, he attempts to batter the sound oni with a combo of left and right hook punches and attempts to knock him away from Jackie with a strong kick. The young man points two fingers at Sesame and charge up electric particles of energy. "You want sound? I got your sound right here! KA-BOOM!" he barked. A concentrated yellow energy beam fired from the tips of his finger intending to break down his defenses.

Marshall has the right idea...Russ gave him a choice to preserve his own life and yet he held his ground and continues to fight the enemy even if he's grossly outclassed. Russ respects that.

Qarinah's eyes widened like a doe trapped in the headlights of a car at the sight of the cuffs being tossed by the old man over towards the larger Saiyan male. She had absolutely no idea if that device would be able to cancel out her magic, or if it was designed to work on just ki based techniques... But she couldn't take that risk. A part of her considered trying to make a fighting break for it, but the apparent hesitation in the man named Fark gave her an idea...

The disguised demon would slowly get to her feet, her legs trembling with just enough effort to convey the fear and dread she was in. "I ain't done nothin' wrong... B-But please... Don't lock me up... I'm registered..." she said, taking a few hesitant steps towards Celerous, casting furtive glances in his way. In those moments that her eyes made contact with his own she tried to initiate some Hypnosis towards the much larger more powerful male.

"Mah... Mah papa used to... B-Because I don't show..." she hesitantly explained, the illusion around her wrists subtly shifting to reveal now in this closer light to the two men, fading scars on her wrists that were otherwise partially obscured by the bangles she wore there.

"P-Please... I'm not a threat to you... D-Don't lock me up..." Qarinah pleaded, putting a kernel of truth into the lie of the story she was weaving for these two defenders of this world. The best part of this illusion she wore? If any of them did desire to have a gander through their little Accords database, they would find a nice young southern lass of this appearance with an intermittent reading of one and zero.

She had been quite a lovely night... and an even more pleasant morning follow up before being invited to join the vampiric succubus' cult.

"What...?"
The kami reels back just in time for Russ to step in and fire off his beam of yellow. Sidestepping to avoid the black she would have maybe taken in the back. Rather than be held in place by her interference though this demon jumps up and sends a concussive wave back at him. Out of position to cover one of her friends this time, she wasn't quite able to reach up to him in time. He would pay for this hubris.

"Russ!"
A bout of anger flowed through her orange aura before it ignited into a sizeable flame around her. Her strength was magnified by the burning light. An arm would be pulled back into a readied position with the flames swirling around it until they gathered on top and condescend. It formed a blinding coating of fire and plasma over it as she balled up a fist. With a single leap, Jackie would try catching him before he could land and deal any significant damage to their grounded combat or the building in general. With any luck, the help from Marshall was actually irritating it...

"Not so fast!!"
Perhaps if there weren't two people of comparable strength keeping Sesame on his toes the infrastructure would be an easier target. But Kami had more than enough time to swing this plasma fist at Sesame's face and try sending him to the stratosphere. The heat unimaginable around the swirling fission conglomerate on her hand that she'd apply directly to the head. Hitting would result in a brilliant plume of hot gas and fire jettisoning upwards. If the technique is missed?

Well, the city would get a beautiful arcing flare that would light up the sky and soar to the very edges of the atmosphere, where it can be observed as the phenomenon it is.

"You alright Russ?"
