[Conquest] Lookout Crystal Kintsugi

For a couple of days the monkey had pretty much retreated in the depths of the Korin Forest. He sought stronger opponents, much like the woman that had previously crossed his path around here. He figured he could try waiting, maybe a few more would show up. Nutrition and all was not a problem, all he needed was harvesting the trees; there was ample choice between apples and bananas, he did not find a lot of peaches however just yet. He was currently searching for some, while he enjoyed simple fruit he also wished to spice it up a little every now and then. All the while he searched, he found the spot where he met that woman last time.

He did not think much of it, there was some long pillar and that was it. But maybe he had not sought some fabled peaches just yet around this area, therefore he decided to engage in detective monkey mode. Not long would pass before rocks began to fall on his head; they were small, of course, otherwise he would most likely be out cold now, but he kept feeling these things bouncing on top of his head.

At first he was left stunned and next he just started scratching around his fur to try and find the culprit, it took him a few moments but he finally found some pebbles and stuff like that.

“Eh? The sky should not rain rocks… right?”

Banshō had his eyes up for a while. Besides the fact that it was not cloudy at all, it did not make sense in general that rocks would fall onto him, it made him wonder whatever was going on since a few moments later he could spot more debris falling down. There was definitely something fishy, but the pillar did not look like it was about to break or fall. It would seem this did actually require a detective monkey to investigate thoroughly, therefore the monkey made it for the pillar and continued to climb… for a while. His agility and speed did not make it the herculean feat it was meant to be, but his interest was renewed once more when he could begin feeling some insane energy up in the skies.

“Oooh! Who has this kind of power?! I must see, I must see!”

The monkey let go of the pillar and in a moment’s notice his shape turned into the one of an orange bird with red and golden feathers, he swung his wings up a few times and rushed for the end of the sky. Normally birds would not be able to get this far obviously, but he was obviously not a bird and also much stronger than any regular feathered creature.

Once he finally made it where the action was hopefully going to take place, the bird sat on a rock all by himself. He could spot some individuals that did not really look human at all, and with some crazy powers, too. Yet he did not do much but only observe at first, as one bird at the edge of the planet.

[Utility] Shapeshifting transforms him into a bird!

Ah man… this was definitely the biggest thing he ever had to take witness to, since when did all these people live on the same planet he did? Surely not until today. If anything right now he was having a very difficult time trying to understand what his place in all of this was, he could not just fight a single one of them.

Which was not a bad thing, he would just get absolutely destroyed, which kept him in a mixed state of emotions between satisfaction and anger. He was meant to be the strongest, so of course such presences were not supposed to overwhelm his power, but he felt like he could perhaps see this as a first in his journey that could push him forward and to greater lengths.

Or some boring crap like that! Anyhow by now the bird simply tilted heads back and forth. One of the first to be examined in his opinion was the crystal person who was also the one that most seemed to oppose right now, he wondered why at first but her reasons did not indeed make much sense to him at least.

Then there was a pink guy, he was very mad or something. Apparently this was meant to be his house, oh he could definitely tell that maybe the crystal girl was some kind of burglar. And then a whole host of different characters, some lads with katanas and a winged cat girl. Truth be told, he would have just been fine flying away, he felt like his presence had the smallest amount of weight possible. But why not stay and try to get to know some people instead?

The bird flew and swung his wings a couple of times, he circled around the ruins until he hoped to hopefully land on top of the machine girl’s head and sit there for a while.

“I do not know… ‘Glainne’. Among us you have the weirdest reason to be here. Stop lying to us, people do not go around fixing ruins for nothing. You suspicious fool!”
