The silence broke past the eerie high winds that would still grace this former monument's many pieces. After a moment longer of waiting in front of her other side, Griselda resigns herself with a sigh and lifts her head back up. Eyes meet with Usumi's as a measure of pain, this time emotionally, sets over her face. She drops the sword with its slight blue glow to the ground, letting it fade into tiny strings of shadow before dissipating in the air.
"Just... take me. I have to know what you're after. That I can trust you again."
With express permission, Usumi would raise their free hand out to clasp the girl's shoulder. Dusk-colored claws are surprisingly gentle considering their appearance. As if the words alone were all the demon needed, like a password, the girl's body would dissolve at the touch. Painlessly coalescing around Usumi in a quick swirl of magic until only one body remained. Usumi would relax some after the two halves came to be, flourishing the blade a few times in her hand before placing it back into the sheath at her side.
"Am I glad you see reason, Girl. Not a moment too late either. Consider yourself lucky, angel. This place, and you, no longer are on the agenda with her in tow."
Usumi saw fit to threaten the winged lady one more time before turning around. Rubbing some blood away from the few scratches produced by Griselda before swiping at the air. Horizontal then vertical. A cross-section that tears open one of those shadowy portals for her to step into. She would leave the Lookout in the same shameful crumbs they started as when she arrived. Her jumping through and closing the portal behind her was a blink-and-you-miss-it scenario.
Earth's reverent place was vacant. Time to try off-world.
