EVACUATION ORDER
| Cato's PL: 50,000 |
There weren't many people on Plant that Cato trusted, much less ones who would be willing to help with a project like this. Cato herself didn't much like lying, especially on the grand scale: politics was a minefield she had recently found herself in, and not one she felt the least bit of fondness for. It was a pit of snakes, with a few honest souls thrown in to put everyone into question.
But still, today's work had to be done. The devastation of Hatchi City was on the horizon, and while she had chosen her side, she would at least do her best to preserve what she could. She was no hero, nor would she ever be one: if she was, she wouldn't have agreed to help with this bloody work to begin with. But if there was a little humanity to be shown in this situation, she would try.
She tapped her scouter, to send a text-based message she had written (and re-written) a dozen times already.
She frowned as the message confirmed itself sent. She knew she should have been taking Vocado to task for his attack on Lottus, but there was no time now. She had to leverage that last eight days left, and a powerful and respectable ally was the only way this plan would work.| Cato's PL: 50,000 |

VOCADO
I HAVE PLEDGED THAT I WILL LEND ASSISTANCE TO LOTTUS. THIS WILL MAKE US ENEMIES IN THE DAYS OR WEEKS AHEAD. HOWEVER, WE ARE NOT ENEMIES NOW. I DO NOT APPROVE OF YOUR ATTACK ON LOTTUS. YOU WERE WRONG TO TRY TO SOLVE THINGS LIKE THAT.
YOU WANT PEACE AND STABILITY FOR PLANT. THAT MUCH MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE NOW. BUT COME TO HATCHI CITY, AND WE CAN MAKE SOME SMALL STEP TO PRESERVING THAT FOR THE FUTURE.
If she knew her better, the droid Curie might have been good to loop in on the situation as well. But she might prefer a more blunt approach, and Cato couldn't risk Lottus' entire operation with this. It had to be done right.
