Tender Rifts - Inv Only

Strolling casually among the populace of the city was a lithe young man with a tail far fluffier than any Saiyan and ears standing tall and equally as fluffy atop his head. His ears poked through the hood he wore, but that hood didn't mask any of the oddities that made him stand out. On top of that, his garb was of a different style to what most Saiyans wore. Under the hood was a cloth wrapping around his face from the nose down that tucked into the neck of his tunic. His tunic had short sleeves, and the front was tied up with strings rather than buttons. He had cloth breeches on that matched the style of his tunic, but were a brown color in contrast to the tunic's white. Leather and resin sandals adorned his feet as he walked through the crowd. Even though his face was hidden, nobody seemed to care. Some were weary of him for his odd tail and ears, though.

In an odd turn of events, Nilen wasn't the one to draw attention to himself. He waded through the crowd on his way out of the plaza, but heard a voice call in his direction. It was decidedly female, but very unfamiliar to him. His senses immediately went on high alert because he couldn't fathom why someone would call him out specifically unless they wanted to pick a fight. That was something that had happened before, and the fox eared Earthling wasn't overjoyed at the possibility that he might end up exchanging blows in the middle of a bustling plaza. He wasn't one to run away from his problems. And so, Nilen turned around to face the approaching voice. His senses couldn't detect her spiritual force at all, but his eyes easily beheld the red hair of the woman before him. "Are you talking to me?"

Nilen's tail flicked back and forth idly while he eyed the approaching woman intensely. The closer she got, the more concerned and confused he became. She did not look so different from him aside from the paler skin and vibrant red hair. She had fox-like ears and... a tail? He didn't notice the second tail just yet.
