Kewaki village was your typical rural area with a small population of people. Kowlin had only liked this place due to its popular known tea. He would often visit there when it came to the intense training that he would put himself through. He currently wore his shinjin attire and sat at one of the tables which didn't have any chairs and that you would have to sit down on the floor that had a towel underneath you for you to sit. He was the only one at the tea place since it was early mornings and he enjoy the tea in the morning. As the waiter came over to speak to him, Kowlin would casually fold his hands together and smile.
"Ah yes, I will take your most popular tea please."
The waiter nodded and went about making the tea. The tea was so rich in flavor that it came from a special type of leaf that would change to gold in color during this time of the month. It was also made with other things as well in order to enhance the flavor. Whatever it was, Kowlin enjoyed it and after taking the cup from the man he would casually sip it and made that ah sound. Kowlin left to his own accord, started to read the galactic newspaper.
Chaos on Namek! A rogue Saiyan has launched a vicious attack against an ancient temple!
"My oh my, a saiyan is attacking the Namekians at an ancient table. Hopefully its not that girl again. ha"
All that traveling around the world, and she only seemed to run into dead end after dead end. Nothing had been able to find had managed to help either her own personal condition or the research she had been doing on the Earth’s various legends. It didn’t help that Rinako found herself starting to beat herself up a bit for all of this. With the memory still ever so vivid of that damn arcosian.
Her journeys had finally taken her at least to another village, this one a bit further out, yet she had heard some things from travelers on the road about the tea they served here, claiming it to be some of the best in the region. A bold claim to be sure, but one she would always be willing to put to test. That just made it a requirement for her to come to a visit there, besides…the tea might help to soothe the bit of a migraine she was stuck with.
She would pass by one of the waiters on her way, having initially left that mask of hers on as she went to gather a seat relatively close to a pale fella, the cushion something comfortable after the past few days of travel. “If you don’t mind, could I try the Tsurumai-Tsuburi Green Tea?”, she would say simply and to the point to the kind waiter to take her order. Of course, being so close, they would overhear the news over the namekian attack. She supposed another place she was simply going to have to avoid traveling to for now. Getting a bit more comfortable, the girl would take the fox mask off, lying it down on the table before her, taking a look to it as she heard her voice. “Just stay quiet won’t you…”, she would mention out loud. Yet if one were to take a glance, it didn’t appear she was talking to the pale figure behind her and their statement, how quaint.

Kowlin would raise a brow after hearing what the girl had to say.
"Well excuse me, you didn't have to sit near me."
He would then mumble to himself as he looked at the girl from the back of the head.
"You should be nice to strangers you know. You never know what demons they may hide."
Even though it was mumbled, he made sure that she could hear that. Kowlin didn't know why this person was being so rude to him and if he wasn't in this establishment enjoying this tea, he would have rang her neck. But this was tea time and he had to enjoy it while he was here. He took a few sips in order to cool down a bit and it had worked. Sighing to himself the waiter would then a few seconds later make his way over to Kowlin.
"Ah yes, a refill for my tea please and can I get the rice cake?"
The waiter nodded and few minutes later the rice cake was now on Kowlin's plate as he took a bite of it. Enjoying every bite of it as he continued to read the galactic news.
"Seems like the times are getting more dangerous than before."
He would read how Planet Plant was in another large conflict again....
Rinako would have been shocked back a bit aware at the sudden words of the man. Swiftly turning towards them as she waved her hands in apologies. “I’m so, so sorry. That wasn’t meant towards you…”, she would speak a bit sulked, the apology for all it would seem, seemed sincere? Truthfully, she had felt quite embarrassed now, and perhaps a little annoyed with that little voice even more so now. It was at his mumbled words that she could help but give a bit of a defeated click from her mouth, “You have no idea,” she would agree to the mumbled words with her own mutterance, her eyebrow furrowing as she heard Her words still in annoyance.
It was once the waiter had made their way back, with her own tea, that she overheard the requested rice cake from the tall man. Before he could make it way fully away she would poke at the waiter to whisper something into their ear. “Please add their rice cake to my bill instead, I want to apologize for accidentally snapping…towards them.”, she would lie toward the end. It would have been insane Rinako knew, telling someone whom she had snapped at.
As she continued to drink her tea, listening in as the rice cake was delivered. She heard more over how dangerous thing had been getting as of late. The era of peace over it truly seemed. “Things really are it seems…even Earth’s own moon isn’t safe it looks like…though I can’t lie. There’s something eerily beautiful about how it hangs in the sky now with the small fragments that wave off it.”

She had apology and stated that it wasn't meant towards him, which he was relieved.
"I see..."
And then she continued on as he let out a sly smirk.
"Well its better that way. Saiyans who try to invade this planet won't be able to transformation with their oozaru form. One less planet to conquer. It was a smart idea on whoever came up with that."
He would chuckle a bit as he sipped his tea.
"Many would see the attack on the Capital on Planet Plant as a terrorist act. But, when you look at the history of Plant along with the many histories of other planets. Since I have two thousand years old. I have seen so much that the saiyans probably deserve it due to the long war with the tuffles. When the people who are native to Plant want the invaders gone, its only a matter of time till someone rises up and decides to do something about it.
Sometimes peace can't be establish by simple talks. Sometimes something crazy has to happen in order to end the conflict. That's how it's been throughout history. Warriors stand up to fight. Not everyone wants to do it, but sometimes it just has to be done."
Rinako would turn her head over as she disagreed with that last statement of his. With the moon fragmented like this, she actually feared a potential worse scenario potentially arriving. “I mean, maybe that would be a good point if it were true. Unfortunately, with it being fractured like that rather than say completely gone? Well, there’s a chance it could reflect even more blutz waves down to the planet. Harmless to us, but potentially could make it even easier for them to transform. Honestly, it might be better now to either some how remove those fractures, or to remove it entirely. The former won’t stop transformations, but at least might slow down the flow.”, the vixen would say a little proud of that knowledge. Traveling around and learning what she could was a rather payoff in that aspect at least. Taking a rather large sip of her tea as she turned back over again.
“Sorry for getting off on the wrong step of the bed here. My name is Rinako by the way.”, she would offer in greeting after hearing his talks of the current political matters. Though boy, that talk of how peace couldn’t be solved by simple talks, that one hit rather true to harm. This galaxy was just in such a mess, but warriors standing up to fight? Heh…like she would ever be one to do that. She barely could control herself as is when she got into fights. Maybe she was just going to end up like all those other fights and wars around the galaxy, another loser to her fate…She sure seemed to be ever so prevalent in saying so. “It’s hard you know…hard to say and hard to stand to create that desire.”, addressing bother Kowlin and Her.
She had a lot of knowledge when it came to the topic they were discussing. It was quite intriguing that she knew first hand on the information. Based off her appearance and unique ears, he would guess that either the woman was an alien or a demon. Though the eyes being red in nature told him that she was probably a demon. The cousins to the shinjin it was rather interesting to see demons from time to time.
“My name is Kowlin, I’m a shinjin from Otherworld. But I have since not been back for quite some time now.”
Then the speaking of desires came in. Taking another sip and folding his hands together.
“The first real known villain was an alien King. He would strip the people of food, clothing, and their freedom and they lived in prison. They would mine the resources needed to fuel his ships. They would create the ships that he used his soldiers to voyage through. He had only a thousand or so men, while the people were tens of thousand.
The King always had expected a riot, but what he didn’t expect was a takeover. The King was killed because given time, anyone could get strong enough to take you down. That’s what happens with villains. They are on a timer just waiting to be defeated.”
Little would the shinjin appear to have known how close on the mark he had reached, yet, just barely off it seemed. The girl before him was an alien for certain and yet, the traces of demon blood still ran through her veins. Though she would look a bit confused at his words to come next, a shinjin? She almost thought of it as a bit of a funny joke.
What would a god be doing down on this plane after all, it wasn’t like the affairs of mortals such as themselves was that interesting now was it? “Well, nice to meet you Kowlin, though you don’t have to lie about where you come from. If you’re that worried about it you don’t need to mention it after all.”, she would say with a bit of confusion, for all it seemed, she really assumed that they were lying.
Suddenly, as if with a rather large screech in her head, she rose a hand to her ear surprised by the loud sound. She looked around seeing if anyone else had noticed it…only to realize, no one had. It was just Her. Rinako felt a bit confused though…as much of a pain as She had been…She had never acted like that before, not with that much…hatred? She would try to resume the conversation despite the weird feelings she had felt to avoid much more thoughts on the matter. “So this king…what’s to say its not the same for heroes?”

He would close his eyes and immediately began to open a portal over to her side. Once she focuses her attention on it. She would be able to see the pink sky, the yellow clouds, and spirit souls going to King Yemma himself from a distance. The portal would close soon after the demonstration.
"I'm pretty sure you are able to make portals as a demon and all. You would be able to create these portals as well."
He had a high suspicion that this person was a demon. The eyes, the ears... if he was wrong then oh well. Wouldn't be the first time after all.
"The King was a man who wanted to rule over the people. The moment you remove basic rights for the people and lock them in cells where they will live until they die. You restrict their movements. That isn't how King operate at all. Sure the King could have seen the Heros as villains. But you have to keep in mind. If you are just a mere spectator observing these events. You would see that the King is evil and that the heros are heros. It doesn't matter how the King would perceive them. Since he would be wrong and the majority would rule otherwise that he is in fact the only villain."
Well, color her a bit surprise. Here eyes could only widen at the sudden portal opening beside her. The yellow clouds, the pink sky, she didn’t quite know what to really say in response. “Holy Shit…”, she would say with only the barest of thoughts. Not even caring for the vulgarity of her language, she was just baffled by the fact that well…He wasn’t lying?! Even after it closed, she could only stare where it had once been for a solid minute, her tea growing cold even as it sat undrunk.
If he hadn’t made the comments about demons, she wasn’t sure how much longer they would have been staring. “W...What? Portals? I don’t know any portal magic…I’m not even a demon, at least not fully. I’m only part demon from some family long ago.”, she would say without a hint of a lie herself…what would be the point in lying here after all? This was divinity with the power to connect the gates of the afterlife after all.
She was almost barely ready for his next comments about the King, almost failing to realize that he had misinterpreted her question. “Er…no I didn’t mean it like that…r…rather I meant what about Heroes? If villains have timers till, they must fall, doesn’t that mean the same must be said about Heroes? Moments where the heroes have fallen to their fates…”
“Removing roles from everyone. Your right. Everyone has a time stamp until they are gone. The hero’s are no different. There are hero’s that have died before they could even meet the main villain. There are hero’s out there that die to the main villain. There are those that survive a long time beating villain after villain and becoming a legend.
It’s the same for villains as well. In order to ensure that you live a long life. You have to keep training behind close doors before you reach that pillar. Many hero’s and villains don’t do that and they get into situations they weren’t prepared for. You also can always be wrong about the situation before you reach that fight. For instance you only thought that your opponent had a certain level of strength and abilities But turns out they had way more at their disposal.”
In a way Kowlin was wrong about the girl, she wasn’t a demon and this wouldn’t be the first time as well that he was wrong about something.
“There are those that wish to change the universe and then there are those that actual change the universe. Which one are you? In the end, you can only be one of the two people.”
Truthfully? There was reasoning to some of the words the divine said a bit, but she wasn’t quite sure to make of a bit of the repetition he held to some of those words. “Well of course it’s the same for villains, that’s to be expected if the prior concept holds the same.”, she would rather agree within the shinjin in such a concept as she took another sip of her tea, a rather lengthy one this time as she pictured something perhaps, a latent memory maybe? Not that it was important in the slightest bit perhaps. Flicking a small finger as she sat her cup down, a small little blue flame would hover above it as she looked into it. No heat to emanate truly, just a mere illusion of a flame that didn’t exist.
“Which one am I huh…”, she would ponder to his question, keeping her gaze locked on that floating little flame over her tea, taking well enough care to ensure none too many were paying attention to the strange two individuals. “Well, I couldn’t quite tell you for sure on that one. I’m no hero, nor am I any kind of villain. Not sure what I want to change and yet at the same time perhaps there is something that could be an opportunity.”, she would only continue, taking perhaps a bit of those to the other voice… “Truthfully? I just don’t like being inconvenienced…so I’m neither of those people. I’m just myself at least…I think.”
The girl looked to be conflicted, though she wasn’t good nor bad in terms of the definition. A gray neutral which was fine. But when there is action to every reaction, where a villain wants to do something vile and the hero wants to defend the people. Where would this girl stand in all of this conflict. When the conflict does arrive, she won’t just stand there or perhaps run away from all of the drama kowlin took a final sip, wanting her direct answer before he decides to ultimately get up to leave this place.
“Do you believe that there will ever come a time where your morals will come into play. When things need saving or when the world is crumbling at your finger tips. These answers need to be answered. As neutral as one may claim to be, this world has only two sides to choose from. If you run away from the conflict because you are neutral, than one side could win because you weren’t involved. You can stand there and do nothing and that’s the same thing. You have a choice to make. This world is black and white. There are no other colors. You can’t be in the middle when others are on one side or the other.”
“Well, maybe?”, she would suppose, in the pure hypothetical that was she couldn’t help but ponder over it. What did it matter to her after all if one side was to win or not. It was at Her voice that she perhaps found something that for once…she did agree upon. “You’re wrong unfortunately, even being a god like you are, you have a long way to go before just assuming it’s all black and white. So, what if some side wins or not. You’re right that maybe my morals will come up to the question firsthand perhaps.”, she would at first disagree with the god, in fact seemed to even speak towards the opposite of his words, only coming to agreement at the inevitable future of the morals situation.
“But what you don’t know is that you don’t quite get my morals so to say. A side can win, and sure I may not take part, doesn’t mean I’m with them, nor against them. Just means they weren’t enough to warrant my attention even. Even if there are others on both sides perhaps? Well, then let's see which one gives me the most fun~”, she would say with but another sip of her tea. Unfortunately, it would seem if the god was looking for a direct answer for this question of his. They were going to be hard pressed to find one, the vixen truly seemed to be only at the whims of their inconvenience in the idea of these situations. Truthfully, she was just quite the morally chaotic individual. She followed her own words and ideas rather than some black and white hero or villain. Though…who could ever say the same was the truth for Her however.
