A New Threat - [ Conquest ]

Sesame moved in on his attack, landing a series of hard blows on the Arcosian. The Third blow even took off a few of his limbs. He had been able to hit him with all three blows but he was not dead. That was a new feeling, no one had survived his onslaught without guarding in any way. It just showed how strong the Arcosian was. Of course, he was not the only one. This new Azuki had a lot of power as well. Her blows had landed well but he was still alive! He really was a menace. Despite their success, Vocado seemed to be down. He had fought well, rest…wait what was that? He could sense his power. He must have done something to save himself from the rush. He didn’t notice since he was focused on his own attack and facing his fear of facing the monster. It seemed he was able to cushion himself with his own attack. But Looking at him he didn’t look so good. Neither did the Arcosian to be fair. Both were on the ground while Sesame and Azuki stood tall. He looked towards Azuki after this moment giving a nod to confirm he was listening to their voices linked in silence. No one else would know the ill-gotten words shared between these two demons.

And oh boy was she proposing something out of this world. Taking down Blizzard would let the war keep going. If he won, what did that accomplish? A stall in the war maybe? Taking him down, the Saiyan owe them big time. They can cause a bit of chaos to make the battle seem even more devastating. They get everything out of it. He was not sure what the creature’s gain was out of this. Just chaos. He liked the idea, he was already somewhat on contract. He was about to ask what he got out of it but then she noted he would be able to loot the riches of the king. That would be something no one would notice, assuming Blizzard did it. He could get away with it quite well if he was honest. Still, this was a gamble. It was risky to defend the city then turn to wreck it. So he wanted to know the end game. But damn if he didn’t like the plan sticking point. These Saiyans had annoyed him by changing leaders and making him lose the possibility of so much in this war. So playing the line and proving his services could be both a blessing and a boon? Yeah, that might be worth it. He would be lining up with offers so they never had to face his wrath.

‘Heh, you drive quite the good offer. Tell me what the end game of all this is. You just appeared, I assume you're not just trying to cause a bit of chaos.’ Sesame said back to Azuki before he sprung forward. It was not as if he was just chatting. Blizzard was down on the ground. A Perfect chance to end him. He may have been out of good energy to do his stronger attacks but his arts were effective with or without ki! Sesame leaped into the air to come down on Blizzard. His foot came flying to slam right down on Blizzard’s throat to crush it. Destroying a foe’s windpipe was a quick and effective way to end a fight. Considering that mask of his was gone, he probably already had some trouble breathing. He was assuming this as it seemed a bit odd to wear a mask like that just for show. It was too bulky in his mind to just be an aesthetic choice but he could be wrong.

The assassin known as Sesame, yes.... Blizzard's eyes had squinted as the man was coming down for a knee impact to his throat. Blizzard had let out a light chuckle before vanishing out of the way from the hit and immediately appearing above the sky and looking down at Sesame and gracefully holding each of his four swords that remained in his hands. He would swipe his left sword against the air, dictating in a way that he didn't want to be Sesame's enemy but instead, offer him something much more than what the current situation was.

"I can offer you much more than what you currently are seeing right here. Money is nice for a man of your status. But I am a man who sees higher value in you. If you want to own one of the Arcosian Empire's planets I can grant you that authority. If you want to be a highly paid bodyguard I can offer you billions."

As a Major, he had such authority to give people planets and even a high ranking position.

"Anything you desire I can give you it. Help me right now by eliminating this saiyan right here and help me conqueror this Capital. and I will repay the favor in full."

He would point at Vocado, since within his mind he felt like he could take on Azuki without much problem. He would vanish from his spot and appearing before Sesame, giving him a purple laser sword.

He would look at Sesame and then at Vocado.

"You can own worlds rather than going from paycheck to paycheck."

He would wait for Sesame's response, floating away a bit to give Sesame some space and also keeping his guard up as well in the process if the need would arise. He would also keep his eyes also on Azuki.

He seemed to land a blow but not fully. The man had fled into the area and seemed to be chuckling about something. He wondered what the Arcosain found funny. The man seemed to want to court his favor as well. Because he was losing. He was facing three powerful warriors and he seemed to have gone alone. He must have thought no one would be in the city. Or those there would not be enough to overcome him. Considering how strong he was. The man offered him an assortment of things. Money, positions of power, a whole planet to rule over. It was honestly a pretty good deal. All he had to do. Help this man kill the Saiyan and conquer this city. He’d get everything he dreamed up if he killed that Saiyan who just took a near-death blow from the major minutes ago.

But Azuki countered. This man was just begging for his life. He had been doing so well but now that he felt the ropes coiling around them. He asked for help, he was a tough man but now he was cowering. Sesame just closed his eyes as he let the words seep in. He let the other assortment of sounds fill his head. The beating of the hearts, the screaming of the people, the wind blowing on his face. He would be a tool for this man. Once his edges had dulled he would be thrown to the side. Azuki then explained her reasoning. She wanted to take revenge against those who wronged her. She would do just that. She just needed him to help out and destroy Blizzard here and now. Then her vengeance could begin anew. And if he helped Blizzard. He is trying to end wars. And at the end of that, where would he get paid? If no one wanted anyone to die then he couldn’t make a dime. He is a killer without someone needing killing.

But Sesame didn’t respond to either of them. His eyes were still closed as he was in thought. A deep thought that seeped right to the very bottom of his soul. Questions he had to ask in a flash. What did he want to do? Why did he want to do it? And what would the end goal for himself be? He turned his head for a moment to Vocado. He would then glance at the sword that the major offered. He would pick it up and glance at the blade. It was of fine craftsmanship. “So I can have anything. If I kill that Saiyan?” Sesame mused for a moment and slowly turned to face Vocado.

“It seems it is a bad day for you Saiyan. Everyone seems to want you dead.” Alluding to the fact that Azuki for some reason had some great desire for his death as well. “I can have it all.” Sesame mused with a smile. “I got the two of you dancing on my palm, don’t I. Your goals can end which way I take the road. Or maybe I go off a winding path neither of you can see.” Sesame smiled. “But I like your path Blizzard. It is quite an adventure. I will be respected, yes? Someone of high status in your empire.” Sesame shook his head. He seemed to focus finally on the sounds and the beats. “This is a new tune in the area. A new rhythm of sound. I have been around fifty years and the sound has never been like this.” Sesame eyes glowed harshly in the dimming sky.

“And you provide me with a path to your revenge? Do you think that appeals to me? I’m a follower in either regard. Fine for me but if given too many options the money is more appealing.” Sesame shook his head in what seemed to be disgust. He was delighting in making the two of them squirm. “Anyway, I made up my mind a while ago.” Sesame raised his sword as it was getting ready to attack Vocado. “Killing crippled Saiyans ain’t gonna get me anything.” He would spin to slash the sword across the chest of Blizzard. “Killing one of the strongest beings in the universe. My Reputation will now be legendary.” That was it, yes. What gave him the most long-term benefit, to pursue his goal of finding that sound. There were more jobs. Wars would go on regardless of whether Blizzard won or not. The question he still had to answer was. Would he let this monster run wild or help the Saiyan after they all dealt with the Lizard? Questions for another moment in time, they were nowhere close to out of the woods.

Blizzard would look at Azuki as his tail had blocked Sesame's attempted strike at his chest. Blizzard had casually sighed to himself, he truly wanted to struggle from paycheck to paycheck how unfortunate.


"You there."

He heard everything that Azuki had spoken and she wanted revenge against the world.

"You have got it all wrong. I am not tied to Azoth Icepeak, he merely serves as the Emperor to the throne. I know that universe peace can't be achieved on a global scale. While some worlds will see you as the peace keeper and savior, others will see you as an Empire that wants to control everything and rule over everything and see you as more evil than good. A united nation is good in theory, but ultimately it doesn't work.

My goal however."

He knew that conquering this place, wouldn't be a good idea considering that if the King does return with his allies it would look very bad for Blizzard, considering that he was there already. If he was going to do something that would work, it would be to destroy this place and steal any valuable resources and come back another day when the chips are in his favor.

"Is to destroy the city, steal the valuable resources and technology that the saiyans have stolen from the tuffles and further weaken their defense systems. I plan to one day rule with respect and not fear. I don't want the tuffles to see what I did today as being feared that one day the Arcosian Empire will go for them. I want them to see that the Arcosian Empire will rule with respect. Giving the respected leaders their choice of what they want to do and at the same time be allies with the next nation. We wouldn't be seen as a united nation where one has to answer to another leader or government for approval. Even though it would be the start for a rightful peace by having a respect system between other leaders, it would also be good to have a summit establish, where all leaders come together and discuss what they want to do to reduce the crime rate. The first step, is to stop the Saiyan army from trying to invade this planet and if the King can't respect that this planet doesn't belong to him, then another will rise up and see the wrongs that the saiyan army have done."

He would think of Zuqetta who even though is young, can truly change the minds of the next generation. To have the old generation continue to not understand that being an invader doesn't make things right and not choosing to just leave the planet with the army and find another planet to call home is something that will continue to happen with the current battle going on.

"This saiyan right here."

He would point at Vocado as he fires his ki blast straight at him.

"Is the reason why the old generation of saiyans aren't fit for the throne. Because it corrupts the minds of the youth thinking that its okay to be an invader. Wars will continue to happen regardless of what I think and profit will always be there. But doing it for the right reasons going into the war, will still make you a profit in the end."

His red laser sword would continue on idle to deflect the incoming ki blast that were coming straight for him. Blizzard's free second right hand which he had given his purple laser sword to Sesame, would now begin to open up the hand and morph it into a hand cannon. Despite not having ki, he had a hand cannon which is able to be used one time with each of his limbs currently, which means four in total.

With precise aim, he would fire the violet colored beam straight to Vocado in hopes of crushing his hopes and dreams in the process.

Sesame swung the blade but Blizzard casually blocked it showing how strong he was compared to him. Sesame flipped back to avoid a counter-attack but it didn’t come right away. Instead, he wanted to talk more. As if to explain why they should join him. When everyone was already trying to take him down. He understood at first to try to swap Sesame's side, he was a killer and he realized it. He was the type that could be hired with a good deal of cash. But now, what was the point of talking up a storm. Vocado the Saiyan seemed to agree with that cause he was on the path to attack. A volley of energy blasts raining down towards the Lizard aiming to erase him. Not that a volley of attacks like that usually did any good. Maybe for a swarm of a weakling but for someone like Blizzard? He doubts it will do much to stop him.

Anyway, while that was going on he did mull over what Blizzard said. He basically admitted he was doing this for himself. He wanted to rule one day with respect and somehow attacking a city while everyone was busy fighting a war was the way to gain respect. Cunning and intelligent maybe? But Respect is not earned by doing an action like that. Respect is given by doing the hard things. And he also complained how Vocado was an example of a bad saiyan. When he was defending his home. When this guy talked he sounded almost as daft as Azuki. Difference was Azuki was the type of daft he could work with. So it only solidified that he needed to stop Blizzard. Seeing him run around making some world would be a disaster. He may have liked killing but he liked a somewhat order to things. Blizzard seemed to just say stuff when it was good for him. He also seemed to have no sense of what was really going on. Guess that was what power did to folks. It diluted their minds.

He watched as Blizzard deflected most of the blasts then went on the attack firing and powerful attack towards Vocado. Then for some reason, Azuki also wanted to kill Vocado. Did she have some beef with him before turning into this thing? And while idling down their manpower. Blizzard may have been some maniac but he was the strongest being to his knowledge. Except, maybe this emperor he didn’t work with. She wanted to fling him away out of the battle so it would be a 2 vs 1. He didn’t like this at all. Sesame didn’t have much ability to complain though. “You better know what you're doing.” Sesame said calmly to Azuki before he kicked off the ground to attack Blizzard. He fired off a kick to slam into the chest of the man before flipping to slam a palm down on his head. While he was attacking he might as well land a good hit.
