While Azuki fully intended to keep her promise to Sesame and follow the pair of them to the wastes, there was something she needed to do first. Letting the news of this tragic event reach Taori AFTER the battle and be warped by possibly true facts would be horrible. No, she needed to alert him now. Potentially even swing the tide of things. Of course, looking like an ebon-cloaked monster wouldn't do her any favors to credibility, so for now, she'd have to lower herself back to the body's original appearance.
With a wet gurgle, the black miasma faded from Azuki's body and her sudden surge in power, but the girl herself had not yet returned. "Euch. It feels wrong to look so FLESHY, but I suppose whatever it takes, I suppose..." Blizzard had kindly declared his intentions to be in the name of Azoth initially, and now with lizard and monkey corpses lining the streets alongside rubble strewn in a quarter of the city from his ship, everything was falling into place. It was convenient that Azuki had acquired a particular King's scouter comm from the Queen (her aunt) herself during her stay. She wouldn't be using BLIZZARD'S gifted one, that'd be a foolish move, but something to simply record video and send a message would do.
"Though I AM a bit... unmarred, as it were." Which was unexpected. How did she not take a single hit during all that kerfuffle aside from a love tap? "Whatever it takes!" Azuki's right hand formed a claw again, swiping down as it sliced through her left hand like butter. Wincing in pain, a bandage courtesy of a capsule on her belt was wrapped around to stem the bleeding. Usually, such an injury would be potentially PERMANENT, but it would come back with time thanks to her body's 'special' quirks. A few lacerations on her exposed arms, armor, and jacket helped sell it further as small pools of crimson pooled and stained her outfit.
Malicious expression fading into one of equal terror and defiance, Azuki switched the scouter device on as she stood near the palace's steps. "Taori, there's been an attack! I, I was just staying in my room with Tsuna when it happened - explosions, screaming, so much smoke... I don't know where she went. I couldn't find her, Sukeru, or Alpinia; I'm sorry, I just... I couldn't. There was this big ship with guns, and it said they were taking the city for Azoth to end the war. It started firing everywhere, so many people..." Taking a pause to convincingly hyperventilate a bit, the camera lens swept over the destruction, zooming in on raging fires, wounded Oozaru, and the corpses of Arcosians still littering the pavement. It dipped downwards to 'accidentally' reveal the lack of a left hand on the girl as she babbled a bit incoherently before taking a deep breath.
"I tried confronting him first, but he was too strong, I couldn't do ANYTHING, and he... he toyed with me like a doll. Using those swords to cut off m-my... hand. He did something strange- magic, or technology, or something I couldn't tell. He made another ME- it was black and white with claws and it, it attacked other people too. There was a long-haired Saiyan who tried helping me only to get nearly killed by the thing. We only managed to take down the ship, but it... it crashed. Into an entire district." The zoom was directed towards a piece of the hull that had miraculously survived the impact, proudly emblazoned with the Arcosian Empire's official symbol.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry... I don't even know if my mums or my aunt are alive..." Azuki coughed, the camera view shaking horribly as splotches of blood stained the pavement below. "That Arcosian taunted us. Said something about how we betrayed our own kind. He had some sort of ally or informant on where the army was. Zucc... Zuqeita? Zuqetta? Something like that. I don't know who that is, but-" The lens swung towards the open palace doors, damaged but still standing. "I can't stay here any longer. I need to find them and get home... I'm sorry I couldn't do more." With that, the transmission cut, and the message was sent. "Ah, now let's see how that goes..."
