So Crotona had a lot of thinking that she had to do. About the Phakk and Ward Battle. She had come to the conclusion that they had some truth to them. Perhaps they been too inactive in changing the bad on the planet. But maybe it was not the mazoku that needed to change. It seemed to her from talking's with folks like Irumu and Nero, that the problem was that more everywhere. There was a divide between the clans. They didn't all believe the same things and they had different ways at looking at things. So there needed to be a way to bridge that gap. To show even if their differences that they were not so far apart. So how was she going to do that?
Well her plan was pretty easy. She had used the money she had gotten off-worlder from Yangcong...(Even if she was not happy about it) to buy a plot of land on Namek. She found both Mazoku, Warrior Caste and Dragon Caste who needed work and she brought them to the farm. It was not just to do work, though that was part of it. She was going to use it as a social experiment. They would all work together and create this nice farm. So far it was going so good everyone was farming with her helping as well. No way would she just sit in the back and not help out. She was hands on when it came to this type of work! But still, there was a more work that could be done, maybe she could find some others who would wanna join in on the work!
Thread PL: 32,000 | Items: NoneAfter recently hearing about what has transpired ever since he briefly decided to become a hermit, Tabor wanted to check and see the ones that helped save Namek from the corruption stemming from this 'Phakk' figure. Apparently a konatsian by the name of Crotona was one of the brave fighters who fought back against the invading corruptor and her partner, though unfortunately sustained a rather serious injury afterwards. From some of the chatter stemming from his dragon clan brothers as well as some newcomers to the planet, this konatsian apparently decided to settle down here on the planet for a while and even bought her very own plot of land. Tabor does have to admit that he hasn't had much of an opportunity to gaze upon the plant life of Konats itself due to that sandstorm, so there was the possibility of seeing something brand new there. He just had to see it for himself.
He slowly decends down from the sky, though was caught off guard when he notices that not only were some of his warrior clan brothers and his brothers from the dragon clan were present, but there were even some members from the mazoku clan were present, some of which gave him a glare when he touched the ground. After looking around the fields for a bit, he spots a konatsian who certainly fits the description of Crotona as the warrior begins approaching the hard working farmer. "You must be Crotona, is that correct?" Tabor speaks up, "I must give my congratulations to you for finding a place to settle down on our humble planet."
Being back home felt really nice, especially seeing all of the elders again. While he received a stern talking to especially once they caught word of his activities throughout the land, Ollo was surprised to hear that they would no longer keep him back home, although it was probably due to this new body which they had most likely taken as a sign of maturity. Definitely, Ollo was glad that they understood at the very least, although they still warned him to be careful. For now though, he was more determined to spend some time solving issues back at home, making the area a much better and friendlier place to live for namekians of all types. While convincing them was still hard, it was easier to make small steps.
There were whispers of a new alien who had made her home nearby these villages. There were mixed reactions, with the more conservative members of the villages acting with scorn and apprehension as they always have whilst others were wary at most from the outsider. It was not always one would see any aliens come far from the Dend capitol and mainland and such reaction was standard if anything. Despite Ollo's attempts to grab people from his village to come over and greet this new person, he was unsuccessful with his endeavors, all too afraid to confront such a person. Frustrated, he ultimately resolved to head there himself, sending a telepathic message back to the elder's to prove that whoever this alien was meant no harm.
Although it was relatively near his village, it was still quite a distance on foot that would take an hour or two to arrive. Wanting to make a point as soon as possible, Ollo hopped onto his trust nimbus and began to soar through the sky. After practicing a bit more he was slowly getting the hang of riding it with his new body although his landings still left much to be desired. The moment he spotted the farm he had gotten a bit overexciting screaming, "Hey it's right there Buddy Jr! Let's go down!" Of course it was only a matter of moments before the descent caused him to lose his balance and plant face first into the dirt next to the two figures, his head stuck in an awkward position underground as he aimlessly flailed his limbs and yell for help whilst the yellow nimbus almost innocently glided to a stop right next to him. What an excellent first impression.
Crotona could sense someone coming and she turned her head to see a Namekian arriving in the area. He seemed to be one of the strongest warriors on the planet. She could sense that his battle level was <32,000>. She turned over to face him and tip her head. “Yes, I am Crotona hopefully I can help you. Have you come help to farm.” She smile hoping that maybe he had heard what she was trying to do and wanted to help out. Though she frowned as he seemed to think she was going to settle long term. “Oh no just for now. Eventually, I plan to head back home. Give this place to a Namekian to keep working the farm and have a place to live. I live on a planet called Konats. But I have been unable to return since some storms make it impossible to find. This planet is very nice of course but if my friends and people are still in danger, I need to go back as soon as possible.”
Plus she wanted to see those she left behind. It had been a long time and she missed the place. Even if places like Earth and Namek served as nice places to live. As they were talking she heard the yell of Ollo and looked up. She couldn’t sense anything coming from him. How odd. Guess she still needed to work more on her ki-sensing abilities. “Oh, another friend how can I help.” Ollo seemed pretty odd. He was like a human and a namekian all at once. It was something that she had never seen before.
Crotona seems friendly enough, greeting Tabor with kindness before asking whether he was here to work on her farm. He's had plenty of experience working the farms as part of his warrior training, but today is not the day to relive the old days. For now, he's more focused on just getting to know this savior. "Perhaps another time, but I merely came to learn more about one of the ones responsible for saving my people during my absence." Unfortunately it seems like she won't be a permanent resident here on Namek as she has plans on returning to her home world of Konats, one of the few places he has yet to visit due to the ongoing storm there.
"Well that's a bit disappointing, but it is nice that you are spending your time here regardless. Konats has always been one of the many planets that I've desired to visit, but I've never had much of a chance because of that storm. Nobody will force you to stay, especially if you have friends and family waiting for you back at your home." He shifts his belt a bit before asking, "How was it that-" Tabor was about to continue with his question until Crotona pipes up and calls out somebody else just arriving at the scene, the warrior wondering just who exactly would also appear. Honestly, it took him a minute to recognize just who exactly it was.
"Ollo?" Tabor pipes up, waiting for the newcomer to speak up to potentially confirm it. This one certainly looks kind of like Ollo, but he seems far older than what he was just months ago. Perhaps it's because he's an amalgamation of all sorts of DNA, but something certainly happened to the young one since they last met each other.
Surprisingly his new neighbor seemed rather calm by his appearance, not that he was upset by it or anything. Honestly, Ollo was relieved that she didn't make a massive deal about it, kind of like how his village had when he returned home. He gave a slight wince at the memory before pushing it into the back of his mind. "Yeah, I'm here to help if you want. The elders told me to come here to say hi. I think they think you're scary but you're really nice so far." He spoke. While his current observations were rather limited, so far she didn't seem to want to take land or destroy anything, so that was a plus in his book. Besides, it wasn't as if there was any other namekians using this land so why shouldn't she be able to use that.
Turning his attention towards Ollo, he would give the elder namekian a goofy grin as he stretched out his human hand to give him a thumbs up. "Hi Tabor, long time no see. You missed a lot," he said with a light chuckle. Honestly, that was an understatement although he didn't particularly care about making a big deal about his transformation. It just happened, so why should he linger on what was in the past? "You here to help the new neighbor as well?" Speaking of, how rude of him to forget! He would stretch out a namekian hand towards Crotona as a greeting. "I'm Ollo. I'm from Pakashon village right over there." With another arm, he would point in the direction he came from. "If you need help let us know. We're really nice." Well, hopefully they didn't act too poorly towards the stranger once he reported how kind she was when he returned.
There was something Crotona had said that caught his attention. "Konats? Oh! I know someone from there. She had big pointy ears like you and used a sword. Her name was Cambia, do you know her?" From his experiences, everyone from the planet was pretty nice, so hopefully the same would go for the rest of their species. For now, he allowed his guard to drop, seeing as she was friendly enough and in the presence of a reunited ally.
Crotona nodded as Tabor said he was just here to look around and see the saving people of Namek while he was gone. “Well. I didn’t do much of the saving. I almost got killed. Not much of a saving if in the end, you had to be saved yourself.” Crotona chuckled before remembering the pain she was in as she was nearly killed by Phakk and Ward. Tiamat and Erebos were able to overcome them but it was a close call. If things had gone bad it could have gone the other way. Still, it was nice to hear Tabor understand what she was talking about when it came to Konats. He had wanted to visit it once the storms ended. “Yes, that's why I gotta go back. I was hoping I could find a way to solve all of that. But so far I had no such luck. Maybe you guys would…” She paused as this was the point Ollo arrived at.
He confirmed he was here to help, guess the elders said it would be a good idea. She smiled. “Yes, that would be wonderful. The more help we have here the better.” Well, that was another person to help out with her pet project. That was going to take the chance it worked out only increase! What was interesting though was him asking if she knew someone named Cambria. She was not the first Konatsian to come to these parts. “Huh. I can’t say I do. Well, I hope I can meet her sometime.” Maybe he could find her and ask her if she had any clue what was going on with Konats. She doubted it but it was worth the effort.

Tabor listens in to what Crotona says about her contributions to the fight, or at least her lack of contributions as she claims that she was more of a detriment as she had to be rescued. She might think that she was simply getting in the way of things, but to Tabor such bravery was more than enough to be commendable, not to mention how her actions could've certainly assisted in the fight. "I may not have seen what has happened in that horrific battle, but I can at least assure you that your actions, whatever they might've been, have most certainly lead to eventual victory. Do not think of your contributions so insignificant, for you have still done a great service not just to your allies, but to all of Namek."
The kontasian also hoped that she would've figured something out in regards to solving the sandstorm issue on Konats at the moment, believing that maybe some of Tabor's brothers could possibly help. "Hmm, well I won't be of much help, unfortunately," Tabor admits, "This whole thing seems magical or supernatural, both things I'm no expert in. Perhaps my brothers from the Dragon Clan could be of some assistance, but it'll be difficult finding any to be so willing as to leave the graces of Namek, even if it's only temporary, just to solve whatever might be troubling Konats."
Both Crotona and Tabor's attentions turn around to greet Ollo, which the young one confirms to Tabor after sticking his thumb up and greeting him. Something has most certainly changed already given how wildly different he looks. Tabor wasn't exactly a biologist, let alone a scientist, so he wasn't entirely sure if any part of the young one's DNA changed him like this, or even if there was some sort of actual cause to such a change. "Oh, I've clearly missed quite a bit. You seem quite different from when we last me. Have... Have you grown older? I don't recall being gone for years on end."
Wait? Did he hear correctly? This woman was one of the few present trying to defend Namek from all these Shinjins. "Woah, you helped out with that? Did you meet other people there like Nero?" He asked rather incredulous at what he was hearing. "Did everything go ok? Is Nero fine?" He asked rather rapidly, still concerned over his friends. Seeing as he had other troubles on his mind, he had briefly forgotten about his worry for his friend, taking the advice of the others to believe that he was ok. However, to have someone present there that was not the two instigators gave him the opportunity to gain information directuly.
Well, it was a shame that she didn't know Cambria, seeing as it had been awhile since Ollo had seen her. In fact, the last time the two talked was in the fight against Shakuhachi himself, quite awhile ago. It was strange what happened to the two of them. "Aw, ok. Do you know what happened to Cambria, Tabor?" He said turning towards the elder namekian.
It wasn't long before Tabor finally mentioned the obvious, one that most of his other friends never seemed to bring up. "Oh this?" He said gesturing to his new, older body. Ollo had honestly forgotten sometimes that he underwent such a transformation to begin with. "I found my dad, and talked to him and all of the sudden fire came around me like this." Ollo briefly paused, lighting his top two fists with pink flames and pumping them all to the sky as if to better demonstrate his point. "Then I became this! It's kinda weird, but I like it. Everything seems a lot easier in this body." He grinned at Tabor, hoping that such an explanation would suffice. He wasn't particularly sure of everything himself, but hey, it was better to take things at face value rather than question what was given to him.
Well, it was good to know people were not going to say she hadn't done anything during the fight. Still, as much as the words were thoughtful, She would have liked to be stronger. She wanted to be there to see the fight end. To stop the Shinjin before they could cause so much chaos. She glanced at Ollo as he noted that if she knew any other people at the battle like Nero. "Yah I was around Nero. He was there to fight the Kai's. But he got busy having to eat with his friend. Something was done by the Kai's to Pankaa was their name? So he was focused on fighting them. It was me Erebos and Tiamat who were mainly fighting the two Kais." She rubbed her head. She wondered where the two of them had gone after the battle. Or what happened to the two Kais. Had both of them died?
Those thoughts were cut off as Tabor admitted he could not help with what was going on with Konats. He didn't know much about magic. So he really didn't have much to add. "That is understandable I didn't expect you had an answer. I was just hoping someone would have something to add. Tabor did suggest that she should ask someone from the dragon clan since they were the magically focused group. "Right I'll ask around the dragon clan another day. I got to make sure the farm is running well before I go running around." If she wanted this idea to work she needed to be around. Running around was not going to guarantee this farm to succeed. Tabor then began to chat with Ollo, guess the two of them knew each other. Something about Ollo was a pretty odd guy. She let the two of them chat as she wondered in thought on what she could do for both Namek and Konats.
As both Crotona and Ollo chatted with each other about her efforts defending Namek from the invaders, Tabor couldn't help but keep a constant eye on the little biodroid, still rather curious about why he looks so different from before. The biodroid turns his attention towards the warrior once more and asks him about another familiar konatsian, Cambia. "Cambia... It's been quite some time since I first heard that name," Tabor recalls, "Ever since Shakuhachi's attack, I haven't seen her since then, unfortunately. I'm not entirely sure what happened to her, but perhaps she went elsewhere to search for a way to fix what plagues Konats. I do hope she's doing well."
Crotona comments that she'll certainly ask the members of the Dragon clan for their assitance, though in his mind Tabor feels like they can't exactly accomplish too much. Perhaps a few of them would truly be willing to help, but too many of them seem to be too narrowminded, focusing their efforts on the issues that persist through the clans. "Hopefully they will know something, or at the very least they could lead you down the right path to salvation. If anybody, it would be them." The warrior turns back to Ollo as he explains how he apparently met his father and transformed into this much older form while also demonstrating his new powers. "That is quite the spectacle indeed, and quite intriguing. I don't think I've ever seen pink flames before. Curious..."
Oh so she did know who Nero was! Her words gave him more insight as to what had happened on the planet. To his surprise, he wasn't alone but rather with the other kid that he had met when he first set off on this journey: Pankaa. While it was a surprise to hear that the two knew each other (small world) it was also just as a surprise to hear such behavior that came from the young avalii in the first place. When they first met, Ollo had gotten a gentle impression of the boy, someone who wanted to help others in need sometimes at his own expense. To hear something like that was rather confusing. "What happened to the two of them?" He asked, after she explained her side of the story. "I think I met with the two... Phakk and Ward I think their name is. They kinda ran off, I dunno where though." The words sent shivers down his spine, reminding him of negative times. Never again.
While he had gotten the information that he wanted to know from Crotona, it was rather sad to hear that Tabor didn't know what had happened to Cambia either. Ollo had hoped to hear how she was doing today. Perhaps see if she was fine and facing the same issues he had even months after the encounter with the Namekian. Still, it was comforting to see a familiar face around, especially when they hardly had any time to talk before. "Yeah, I dunno what that means but it's pretty cool though. My magic teacher Sing says I can probably do more, but I'm still learning." He commented, flicking his hands and dismissing these flames. As cool as they were, he would never turn his flames against friends of his, especially when he was still getting used to his powers.
Guess this Cambria left Namek. At least that was what Tabor suspected. Crotona would frown, she had been hoping to meet another one of her people. To her knowledge, she was only of a few Konatsian's that not only left Konat's but were still trying to fix their home. Meeting another Konatsian with the same goal would have been a big morale booster. "I hope she is indeed doing alright and if she is off looking to help Konat's she of found something. Even as I been doing the same I have not been able to find much to help Konat's." She lowered her head in shame. She even started this journey just for adventure not even thinking about how the people of Konat's suffered. So she really owed it to them to help Konat out of this pinch.
Anyway, Phakk and Ward also seemed to have vanished and Ollo pointed that out. Crotona shrugged. "I assume they ran off. I was not there when they were defeated." Anyway, she was also curious about Ollo magic. He explained that his magic teacher a being named Sing believed he could do a lot more. But she assumed magic was pretty rare. Plus, from what she knew of Namek magic it didn't seem to be...fire-based? She didn't know, she kind of assumed it was all healing and support-based abilities. Guess he was exploring all sorts of magic options which was good. She wondered if maybe she could learn to do that. Take the initiate abilities of her monstrous friend and enchant her abilities with them. To shoot fire and stuff. It sounded cool if tough to do. "That is pretty cool. Magic is a scary thing got to be careful." She lifts the charms of her family to show. "I use magic but mine just summons giant monsters. Not as cool as being able to make fire with a thought!" Crotona's definition of cool may have been off compared to others.
Cambia's disappearance seemed to weigh a bit heavy on Crotona, though Tabor is a bit more on the hopeful side that she managed to get her ship fixed. Where exactly she would go once it's fixed remains a mystery as the warrior doesn't recall the storm on Konats subsiding recently. Then again, the Namekians have almost always been the last ones to receive any major news from the other planets, and it doesn't help that Tabor himself had been isolated for quite some time himself. Perhaps he needs to do a bit more digging as to the state of affairs over on Konats, or if there are any other Konatsians that have taken refuge on Namek. All Tabor could do in response to Crotona's comment was nod his head gently.
The conversation between Ollo and Crotona continues on as Ollo recalls both Ward and Phakk, the two instigators of the whole ordeal on Namek, had retreated and disappeared elsewhere. "Rather concerning that they were able to slink away, but hopefully they won't be able to cause anymore trouble on Namek," Tabor asserts, "Though I be as confident elsewhere..." Turning back to the other conversation, Ollo shows his new pink flames off a bit more as he explains that his teacher, some being named Sing, was able to assist him in honing his abilities as he dismisses the fire. As Crotona begins talking about the various things she herself can do with her magic, it becomes a bit more apparent to Tabor that he's a bit of the odd one out.
For all of his life Tabor had been far more focused on improving his physical and spiritual prowess over making any attempt at magic. He knows that a few warriors in his clan are capable of performing such feats, but unless they served some purpose outside of combat, the warrior had little interest in the stuff, mostly because he was far more confident in his martial skills in comparison. "Perhaps one day I might explore the facets of the magical arts," Tabor comments as he glances back down at the rapier by his side, "Perhaps some conjuration in the future might be useful while traveling."
