TAORI'S PL: 16,000 |
ACTIVE TRANSFORMATIONS: None |
It wasn't long after Taori had learned of the battle in the capital that he got to digging into the details of it. And what he found was... Shocking, to say the least. He'd have never expected Yangcong - a friend of Garrick's, and someone he had met once before - to have betrayed the Saiyans so suddenly as he had. Let alone the fact that he had led the assault on Sadala. And the fool had met his end in the battle as well, damn him. Taori would have liked to have gotten in a few swings on the man himself, but he supposed he'd just have to wait until he met Yangcong again in Hell.
He had been scouring the casualty lists for names he recognized, and, unfortunately, there were more names than he wished he'd been able to put faces to. Even the names of the faceless Saiyans he had never met were far more plentiful than he'd hoped. With each line his eyes scanned through, he more wished he could have been there himself. Maybe this list would have been shorter. ...Or, maybe his name would've been somewhere on it. Compared to the most powerful fighters on Plant, Taori was nothing, even as an Oozaru.
He knew someone who was something, though. A name that hadn't appeared on the casualty list, and an old friend. It had taken some asking and poking around, but Taori eventually found out where Vocado was: in a healing tank, comatose since the battle.
That was long enough for him to have slept, Taori thought. It may not have been the wisest choice, but, well, Taori was a little desperate. He tracked Vocado's chamber down, let himself into the room when no medical professionals were present, took a quick glance at Vocado to make sure he didn't have any gaping holes in him that would start to leak out blood - which he didn't appear to have - and then input the command on the console to drain out the healing tank.
The process took a minute or so, but eventually, Vocado's chamber emptied out, leaving only the Saiyan and some dangling tubes left within the glass, until the door slid open and allowed fresh air to hit Vocado for what was likely the first time in months. It was hard for Taori to tell if the the Saiyan was conscious or not, though. "Vocado," he said, under the assumption Vocado could hear his voice, "Hope you enjoyed your beauty rest, but there's some urgent stuff going down. I need to talk to you."
