Having departed from Arcose because of the absolute absence of things that required his physical presence there, Emperor Azoth's journey to Earth was one he intended to make worthwhile. The little blue planet hosted one of the most diverse and open-minded populations he had seen in the universe, and as such, it was the perfect place to cast the second stone of his dream, the first-ever Arcosian Embassy to be built as a show of goodwill and desire of cooperation. The first of these buildings to be constructed not as some recon operation to keep track of a colony, but a communication center, as well as a cultural spot for his Empire.
Of course, this was the perfect opportunity to finally construct a spaceport on Earth. Finally, there would be a space designated for Earthly stays, and there would be no need to find flat ground to land the Freezing Horizon, which required quite a lot of space in itself.
Of course, being on Earth, the Emperor had to do a lot of paperwork, find a spot for sale, well placed and with enough space to build the whole thing, which was no small feat. Lucky for him, an old shopping mall was scheduled to be destroyed due to sanitary reasons, so he managed to get himself a deal if he took the task of destroying the old building himself. Of course, such a task was way too easy, using the Horizon's terraforming ray, which vaporized the whole thing, including lower floors, in a whole afternoon.
Right now, Azoth was standing in front of that hole in the ground, about 2 floors deep, as his first wave of employees, namely the Mini-Paladions, were starting the construction of the embassy, staring with filling that gigantic hole with strong foundations. The alien had called in workers from Arcose, but they would only arrive tomorrow, with the materials needed for the spaceport, well, those he couldn't buy on Earth.
'' Yes, we want the embassy to be visible and glorious, but we also need access in and out the spaceport to be easy. Yes, that does mean having two separate construction sites, it'll be easier to manage that way. We also need to hire a few Earthling architechs, we're mostly working with Earth's material after all. Of course we're building it Arcose-style! ''
He was speaking into his communication device, mounted in his wrist. Of course, there was a crowd, along with multiple media outlets, that arrived on the scene during the destruction of the mall by giant lasers. To help with that, and to have his first time speaking to Earthlings as the emperor of another planet, he had prepared a podium, from where he would be able to speak with the crowd and media, although it was taking more time than expected to get there.
