Hazel couldn't deny modern shows were that absolute bee's knees, especially after she recruited some private back up dancers of her own….. her own species that was. This allowed for maximum effect on the crowds, the more a single individual came to see her live the more addicted they would be to her voice and suggestions. This could have effectively bolstered the casinos business at least by threefold, and it was an additional bonus to have her own sisterkin near her, it made tolerating the mortal dribble far easier backstage. Luckily her sisterkin, were not quite like her, this did not consume flesh, but rather emotion, easy enough, and the worst side effect it could have on the mortals was making them sleepy. But with the growing size of the crowds it was not likely to have any.

She spent hours planning and designing sets on paper for these shows, she honestly was thoroughly enjoying herself. The stage tech came around the door to announce last touches, and their remaining time. With a gleeful nod to her fellow kin they left the dressing room for the shiny stage.

Hazel's Song

Hazel and her girls of varying exotic beautiful nymphs appeared before the crowd on standard bar chairs, their movements paired with her voice would give the crowd visions and feelings of bliss and pleasure. They stamped heel adorned feet onto the chairs as they twisted and spun, off them to approach the crowd at the edge of the stage. One of the many reasons her patrons seemed to always come back without hesitation addicted to the drug that was her sultry voice. The crowd entranced on the high she provided with her performances. Like a pack of predators the dancers on stage moved with all the grace of well trained killers. And when the momentary chorus of all their voices together would be like getting an injection straight to the Head. Her singing lips in a haunting smile, with sultry eyelashes over glowing irises looking down on them like prey. Red waves of hair floating around her as they fell effortlessly to her charm.

As the curtains signaled the end of her performance, she noticed the big boss Milkman in the crowd giving him a wink and wave before she strutted with some extra zest to the backstage

As Derry entered the back room air filled with sweet cheerful femine voices, and perhaps perfume but definitely an intoxicating smell. The visual was several scantily dressed feminine figures getting ready for an another show, a few girls would stop as Derry entered, looking at him curiously as he addressed Hazel, who sat upon a tall chair, legs crossed and wearing a silky black robe that slipped off one shoulder while she applied a new coat of deep maroon lipstick. Bright blue eyes lightly glanced in his direction when he approached her, only stopping to give him her full attention once he was addressing her.

Graceful hands sit down the lipstick and in a fluid motion pushed back her hair off her shoulders at the same time, "Well well well thank you for the compliments Milkman~" she joked in a low sultry voice as she gave Derry her hand as if her expressed him to kiss it, this point she knew this was not a common custom anymore but it didn't stop her from doing it. She would retract her hand as he began to question who her dancers were, mistakenly giving them a kind gesture, quickly many of the nymphs would nearly swarm him being very touchy but appropriate.

Hazel made a graceful motion with her hand introducing the girls to him and vice versa, "Ah girls! Meet the boss at last~" at this point Derry had the full attention of all the lesser demons in the room, quickly the rest of the girls were now crowded around him with comments like 'Oh hes adorable' 'Hes more handsome than you said' and much more fawning before Hazel finally had to step in rising up on her tail as it formed, she waved her hands shooing off the nymphs like flies on pie. Once the small swarm had dispersed she answered his question, "They are similar, yes but far far more harmless than me, simply nymphs." She raised the arm towards them, as if displaying them while they quickly got back to work getting prepared for the next show.

Dairyman brought up he was looking to further use her image for his cause, she smiled sinisterly when she slid her hand under his jaw, answering him with a purr, "Oh Dariyman, ask and you shall receive~" she promised and slightly quoting their contract.

Hazel's smile looked over Derry, if she hadn't found it so adorable, she would have told his ages ago he didn't need to kiss it, yet too cute to correct. She rested the back of her hand against her silk clad hip while she heard out Derry on his request, commercials did exist when she was last awake, but only on music boxes, the picture box called a tv didn't quite exist yet at least not commonly owned, "Hmmm yes yes I'm familiar with them, I have shows all day today, it's Saturday after all~"

She vaguely remembered some discussion talking about taking some sort of office, government position he wanted, "Ah is this to build your public reputation, for… for the...." paused tapping her chin with pursed lips, having forgotten the word already, then snapped her fingers like she remembered pointed at him, "You know, the thing!" She smiled but hadn't said anything that made much since at the moment.

She waved a hand sure he would understand, "So should I pick a good song to represent you? Hm~?" It was a genuine question but her sultry voice made it sound like something devious, was up her silky robe sleeve. "If so, I think I have a couple of ideas," she purred, while her tail and scales retreated, on her bare feet Derry towered over her easily.

Hazel politely rose a hand to decline the cigarette, not a herb she commonly partook in. Rather she manifested her own pipe, gold inlaid into ivory wood, she did accept her off to light it. She shook her head as she said they leeched off each other's fame, " Oh no no no, mon précieux, leech is such an ugly word, hmmm I prefer to say we mutually benefit off each other~" This was very true in many ways all the way to their contract, one of her first contracts without a monkey paw consequence.

Hazel had a cheerfully devious smile the minute she saw Derry bringing delicate fingertips to her lips as if trying to hide her absolute satisfaction with making the big gangster man blush a fair shade of pink from her performance on stage, nearly matching that cute cotton candy hair of his. She kept her hand to her lips as if to hide her pleased smile, while she listened to his hesitant compliments, oh he was too precious a big man like him turning red in embarrassment, she gave him her careful attention again, occasionally nodding her head in response.

She nodded a bit more heavily to his final statement, as he finally took a seat. Her chair was still close enough to let her lean towards him, putting a gentle hand under his chin just barely touching the warm blushing skin, her face invading his personal space, "Oh yes, it's probably better I go first you probably need a minute to calm yourself~" her thumb gently grazing over his bottom lip, "We don't want the press thinking you have a crush on me~" she teased with a pleased smile like a cat that ate the canary.

She managed to pull away and release him just before one of the interviewers walked in to see if she was ready, "Oh yes yes Doll, bring them in~"

Hazel gave a brief interview even glossing over the history she made up for the two of them, being a struggling dancer he hired her at his casino and allowed her to pursue her dream of singing, slight fake tears of 'gratitude' yahdah yahdah. She was excellent at hamming it up for the cameras making it seem like Derry was a genuine man fighting hard to make things right, for anyone that he could, even adding to the story that the dancers behind her had fallen on hard times before meeting Derry.

Her voice and demeanor was absolutely mature and appropriate, not erratic as it tended to be on the norm. And honestly In This moment one may wonder how much somebody could fake such a thing, which personality was real and which was the mask? But truthfully it was not that deep. It was difficult for her at times to remain lucid enough to get past these kinds of events.

Hazel nodded in agreement while she watched him try his best to stay steady for the public eye and the cameras, "Food sounds delightful~ I could definitely go for a bite~" She purred while leaning towards him slightly, her elbow rested on the arm of her chair while she perched her head on the back of her hand, her gaze always slightly predatory. "It's a date," she stated in a blunt 'matter of fact' type way before she rose from her chair to continue her work. Honestly she knew she should not have teased him further but he just made it too easy sometimes, and his reactions were adorable!

After wrapping up the recording with him, and the completing the pleasantries with the crew, it was just him, her, and the nymphs. With a hand gesture, she waved her girls over, and obediently they obeyed quickly rushing around her. She spoke with them briefly, despite their taller height compared to her, they seemed to look up to her almost in a maternal manner. She finished up her goodbyes and made sure they knew what to do next, before turning back to Derry.

She wore a black ribbon around her slender neck, a tight black sweetheart cut mini dress, paired with a furry crop top coat, her tall stilettos clicking against the tile ground while she trotted toward him playfully, them taking his arm tightly when she teased, "So where are we going for our date? I could eat a whole person!" Her Ruby red lips turned up into a devious smile as she chuckled, she wasn't serious. Realizing he might not catch it, "Although, I want normal food tonight," she laughed again after clarification.
