Why was she sent here in the first place? While Kon had a few guesses, primarily revolving around a certain pink haired gangster trying to get her out of his hair for a moment, she wasn't too entirely opposed to it. Her missions so far were boring, and this one was going to be potentially interesting. That is if she was given any good information about the mission to begin with. But no, she was dropped here in the middle of nowhere for who knows how long, told only to search for "green with something else to it" and she wasn't even given a time for when they were to return. Even if she could travel back by herself, it was a long walk or flight back to HQ from there regardless. 

For now, all she could do was adapt to her current situation, dealing with it the best that she could. So far, she had spent the majority of the time just wandering around, searching for any signs of this "green with something else" thing which described basically everything in the farmland. To her dismay, she wasn't able to find anything for the first few hours, wandering aimlessly around the Wastes, looking for something that might not even have existed in the first place. As much as she wanted to ask the nearby farmers for help to at least reduce the load that was given to her, Kon was still a wanted felon and doing that wasn't the best idea currently.

Just as she was about to give up, planning on walking back home on foot and calling this mission a bust, a scent caught her attention. What was that? It was completely unique, unlike anything she had ever smelled before. Not to mention, the air was growing stranger. There were no other words Kon could describe it, the atmosphere was simply turning odd...

As she continued to move through the fog, she noticed a figure standing there in the distance along with what appeared to be a giant beanstalk. As she walked closer, she eventually knew that there was no way that she could confrontation. It was better just to bite the bullet and get it over with. "Oi," she called out to the person. "Is this thing yours?" Kon walked closer, trying to get a better look of the beanstalk in front of her. Maybe this was the thing that they wanted her to retrieve, although what the hell was it in the first place?

On this episode of Gaffa Gobbles Garbage, we find our titular antagonist Majin Gaffa holding a chicken by the neck as she had just consumed about six live animals from a local farm. She was feeling rather satisfied, for once! Now she walked down the road, not noticing the creeping mist as she searched for a place to sleep off her full stomach.

Having not been paying any attention to where she was going, Gaffa was soon faceplanting into the ground as her foot had been caught by a large root sticking out of the earth. The chicken, having been playing dead this whole time, took this an an opportunity to escape, clucking madly as it ran off into the thick fog and out of view.

"No, my dessert! Damnit..." Gaffa dragged herself back to her feet, and ripped the root that tripped her out of the ground. "Stupid plant, ruining things! This is why I eat meat!"

Before she could curse out the root's entire lineage and threaten to kill it, the majin noticed that the root was actually connected to a large beanstalk that was just off to the side of the road. She approached the beanstalk, ready to blast the hell out of it, when she saw a few weird-looking beans growing off of it. Something about them felt... off. Was it the color? They were partially green, and partially purple.

"You're gonna have to make up for losing my dessert," Gaffa told the beanstalk, before ripping one of the beans off of it and throwing it down the hatch, not even bothering to chew.
