An Extraordinary Evening Encounter [invite]

It was nice seeing the saiyan look so happy with Froma's response. Does she have this same response for all of her fans, or is this mostly due to still being a rather unknown name? Strangely enough, however, the woman then threatens to beat the captain up if she doesn't see any of her performances, and all Froma could do in response was give a bit of a worried chuckle, a single droplet of sweat making itself known on her forehead. The saiyan can definitely back that claim up given the power level reading Froma saw earlier, and she hopes it never comes to that point. It could always be a bit of a joke and that's just how saiyans act, but she wasn't completely sure about all of this. The saiyan clears her throat and confirms it to be a joke, but the brenchian is still a bit on edge.



The woman was able to give out some information in regards to Tarbel Village and how just like Froma assumed, most of the residents here are rather peaceful. It was certainly an oddity when looking at the rest of the saiyans, but there's always going to be some outliers in just about any species, that's for sure. "I do suppose that is true," Froma responds while looking at the residents far away from the two, "war can be cruel sometimes, and though these residents may not mean any harm, there's always a chance for them to be caught up in all of this mess. Good thing they've got fighters like you around."



Upon asking for merchandise, Froma notices the saiyan think for a bit before blurting out that it's back at her hotel room. She extends an invitation to Froma to come to her place or stay here to patrol for a bit. "It would probably be wise of me to continue patrolling here," Froma answers while crossing her arms, "it would be good to keep an eye on the residents here."

As the saiyan was talking about how she wishes for the war to end soon, Froma continues fiddling with her scouter, messing around with the zoom this time around to see if she could spot anything weird from afar. Thankfully, it seems as if they're still in the clear, so Froma turns her attention back towards the woman and states, "It would be nice for the war to come to an end. Director Freige has some ideas for further relations with neighbors. He's a man always seeking to make profits and to improve Arcose. Trade is likely in order, but it isn't quite so appealing as of right now due to the risk of his ships being blown out of the sky. Perhaps some smaller runs to places like Tarbel Village would be a decent middle ground to start off on."

The saiyan leaves to go pick up the merchandise, and Froma was now by herself in the outskirts of Tarbel Village, standing around and listening for any sort of trouble. A few minutes have passed and Froma was already getting a bit tired of this whole ordeal. She hasn't had to do a patrol by herself in years. She was above that sort of stuff once she became a captain, so while it was a bit nostalgic at first, Froma quickly realizes that nothing big was really going to happen anytime soon. She kinda misses having the saiyan around since it at least gives her something to do. Froma plants herself on a nearby rock and sighs while putting her elbows on her thighs and her hands on her cheeks, waiting for when the stranger returns.

A few minutes later, the saiyan returns with a backpack and asks her to reach inside and guess what kind of merchandise she brought back. Froma obliges and takes off her glove before reaching in and begin rummaging through the backpack. Froma could feel like she's grabbing some sort of bottle or container of some kind along with a few laminated papers. She decides to grab onto the container and answer, "Some sort of water container?" before pulling it out. Sure enough, it was a water container, complete with a pink paint job and a decal of the saiyan's face with the name 'Delia.' Has the captain really never asked the saiyan her name yet? "Well, I guess I was right," Froma remarks as she turns her attention back on the real Delia, "Oh, and nice to meet you, Delia."

It appears as if Delia was rather delighted about Froma correctly guessing what she grabbed from inside her backpack, though now that the captain is thinking that the saiyan is a bit full of herself. Maybe she can really back up this sort of thing, but Froma could tell that the good old saiyan pride is starting to show itself. As Delia was talking about some extra fliers in the backpack, Froma reaches back in and grabs a handful of them, stating, "No real harm in bringing these back to Arcose now, would it? You just might get an online audience over from Arcose, so might as well give it a shot and see if it works." 

Delia tosses the backpack over towards Froma anyway despite already taking out several fliers. She tells the captain that she's got plenty of backpacks anyway and wants the captain to spread it all around Arcose and possibly Brench as well. Froma gives a somewhat reluctant thumbs up as she says her final goodbyes and takes off, leaving her out in the outskirts. Froma presses the record button yet again, their little conversation now finished before pressing the button again and stating, "This is Captain Froma of the OMG. I've retrieve about as much information as I could get from this Delia, and now I've been tasked with spreading her name. This is just getting weirder and weirder."

Froma presses the record button yet again and makes her way towards the capital. Normally she would stay in a little place such as Tarbel Village, but she's far more likely to find a higher quality hotel room in the capital. She definitely needs the rest after what she's been through earlier.
