It took every ounce of self restraint to stop Derry from burning the majin to the ground after she slaps his hand off to the side, but given Kon's current condition, he thinks it's best to just let it slide for now. He didn't exactly appreciate the look he and Kon were receiving from the walking pile of chewing gum, looking so proud of herself for burning Kon with her grip. One day Derry will return the favor, but that day isn't today.
He turns his attention back on Kon and looks over the burns she recently received, and though none of them were severe, they certainly left a mark on the saiyan. Otherwise, she was completely fine on the outside, though it does seem that the saiyan was still in pain. Try as she might, Kon just wasn't ready to go back to Slayg, and neither is Grape over there. Looks like the crime boss is falling back on the initial plan.
Kon goes on one of her little rants about how she doesn't need Derry's help in any of this and how she can take care of this herself, and it was really starting to get on the crime boss' nerves. She honestly thinks she can do this in her current condition and knowing how the fight went last time? "None of my business?" Derry mutters under his breath before moving closer towards Kon and continuing, "What part of all this is none of my fuckin' business, kid? You could've gotten yourself killed today and be sitting in the stomach of that bastard, but oh, I guess that's none of my business, then? Oh sure, maybe I should just let you be and go back to Slayg just so that he can roast you a second damn time. No, I'm putting my foot down on this one. Go back to HQ and rest. You know you need it."
The majin tosses Kon some dried meat before telling her that Derry is right and that she isn't in any condition to fight right now, though the words she picked to convey this was certainly insulting. As she goes on about how she's going to go after Slayg after the tournament, Derry decides it's time to pack things up here. He turns away from the other two and starts making his way out of the alleyway. He turns his head towards the pair and states to Kon, "Your fight is over for now, Kon." He turns his head back around and moves out of the alleyway, making a right and moving back to HQ to pick up a car.
