Central City, October [REDACTED], 1024...
Shiyon waits (im)patiently at a very uncomfortable chair, given the incongruence of the said furniture and the alien's oversized body. That and the fact that he didn't really like to wait for things. Fidgetly, he drums his fingers on his thighs, shaking his right leg. Occasionaly he looks to his side, glancing at the curious eyes fixed at him due to his unnatural appearance. Apparently an extra pair of arms wasn't a common occurrence, despite the talking animals, demi-humans and additional freakshow material that inhabited the blue planet. The giant tries to ignore it. Finally, his password is called on the screen and he gets up to meet the attendant on her booth.
— "Uh... Welcome to the Concerned Citizen Corporation headquarters, sir! How can I help you today?" — The startled lady flinches for a second in the face of her client's scary appearance, before recollecting herself and providing the protocol greeting.
— "I saw your ad. It said you pay people to be vigilantes. I'm interested in the job" — Shiyon replies bluntly.
— "Oh, you are certainly an able looking gentleman and we would be more than happy to have you with us! But we are so much more than that! The CCC is a multiregional industry, responsible for many technological wonders in the grand areas of personal and national security and weaponry manufacturing. You must be referring to our Concerned Citizen Sentinel Program. It is a monitoring service made possible by our numerous drones patrolling the streets, that feed information to our hub along with public requests in the information board, so our "concerned citizens' can be a part of the solution, ensuring the safety of our society and earn their share in the most of honest day's work!" — The woman excitedly corrects Shiyon, walking through the company's branch of activity.
— "Sooo... you pay people to do vigilante work?" — Shiyon spits the rethorical question.
— "It's the room to your left, sir" — The embaressed receptionist responds, pointing to the right direction.
Once in the correct sector, Shiyon goes through the interview proccess, giving his information so he could be registered into the company's system and integrated into the Ki-Database. The fact that he had an adress with a proper deed and also the document from Tabre Village in Diablo Desert, which recognized him as a resident, he should have no trouble with avoiding raising any red flags in the system, due to the politics imposed by President Chomei that banned unauthorized aliens in and out of the planet. He came all the way to North City in order to register into the Concerned Citizen program, since that first contact in person was important for the safety of the registration process. Shiyon responded a few questions, lying about how long he's been in the planet in order to not raise any suspicions over the fact that he breached one The Dragon's Law decree's articles. Everything goes well and in the end, a picture of Shiyon is taken to wrap up the process.
After the tetarian was done with the register, he received his first Concerned Citizen task. He wasn't bound by contract to do anything, but if he did, he earned cash. And he was desperately in need of cash. This gig consisted in tracking down a certain fucshia haired unhappy employee — this is, former employee — who leveled the NCNS Insurance building and has never been caught so far. Currently, Shiyon was just past the door of the CCC headquarters scratching his chin as he digests the information on his person of interest. Just where he would start looking?
