Lottus continued to smile at the dragon as the energy it was building up reached its apex; he could feel the intensity of its power, even if the tower hadn't been shuddering and quaking under the pressure of it. His own power grew, but not to the extent of the attack he was facing down now. It was stronger than any attack he'd yet faced so far, but even still...
Lottus was not afraid of this power in the least.
As Hollowl's attack first flashed, Lottus' own attack was fully prepared!
"OBLITERATION.... CANNOOOOON!!" he bellows! Lottus thrusts his hands forth, and opposite to the great blast of red and white, his own bast of crimson and black bathed his side of the arena in its dark light. The blasts came together at the center of the arena, blinding in their mighty confrontation! Lottus' blast held back the mightier energy for only so long before it began to slowly press back... No matter how much power Lottus put into it, his attack continued to be overwhelmed!
A smile alights Lottus' face - this was a good challenge!! But not one that he would lose.
Lottus stops pushing back with his own energy, and instead crashes his feet into the arena floor, and raises his arms high! The enemy attack rushes forth, and slams against Lottus' open palms!! The noise of the blast drowns out Lottus' mirthful cackling, and the Saiyan is lost within a dome of explosive energy!! Despite this, the shields protecting the tower and its audience holds fast, tested but unbroken! A plume of smoke and ashes are all that any can see once the light fades from the blast....
That is, until a golden glow within the smoke begins to shine through. With a burst of wind, Lottus is revealed - alive and well. Damaged, but otherwise not made to disappear. Burns and bloody patches swarm his skin, and his clothes are torn, left in burned tatters. Lottus rips away what was left of his shirt, but left his tattered pants on.
"Well, that was exciting!" Lottus cackles, stepping off the ruined tiles and up onto the undamaged part of the arena. He tilts his head side to side, cracking his neck. "Consider me interested in you now. Now - I've seen the best you can do, and now I know I can take your attack without too much danger to myself. Good to know - but... I've seen it before, HA!!"
Lottus hovers into the air, stopping once he is eye level with the dragon. He had enough power in his body that he could have taken even MORE of that damage and reduced it to next to nothing, but it would hardly be a test if he decided to try and protect himself like that.
"Now that I'm good and warmed up - we can get started for real!" Lottus grins at Hollowl, and arrogantly motions with his hand, daring the dragon to attack him again...

He thrusts his hands forward together, hands close and fingers splayed wide, and unleashes a broad beam of Ki at his target.

Cost: 6 KP 5MP
Variants: Disappointment - If an opponent takes less than 20% damage from your attack, regain half of the KP used to fire it. This rounds down in the case of decimals, and stacks with other KP regaining effects.
Back-Up Plan - When you use your Sparking, you generate a sustained Defensive Technique. Value depends on the size of your Sparking. Light: 20%, Medium: 30%, Heavy: 40%.
Obliteration Cannon (3,758,040) vs Irradiar Release (6,248,008) -- Irradiar Release wins!! Obliteration Cannon is 60% of Irradiar's power - but Irradiar cannot be reduced under 50% remaining power!! Leftover Damage Power for Irradiar is 3,124,004!!
Because "Hollowl" received less than 20% damage - in this case none - Disappointment activates! Lottus IMMEDIATELY regains 3KP since this effect resolves in this turn!!
