Caraway had nearly forgotten about his communicator, so wrapped up in his own affairs: finding like-minded evildoers for chaotic mischief, spreading terror, gaining power... when it finally rang, the Demon had half a mind to ignore it. Yet he didn't. His lips twisted into an unpleasant frown. He had PROMISED to lend a hand and answer calls on occasion, and it had been quite some time since his last meeting with the Orchestra. The hierarchal group was too stiff and serious for him to consider full-time devotion, but Caraway NEVER broke a promise and NEVER lied. His hands were tied.

At least Maxusz, the Maestro, had picked somewhere sensible for a meeting if they had to have one. Lovely and isolated, full of SKULLS? Perhaps Earth wasn't so bad. The Demon descended from high in the sky, posing ramrod straight and gripping his umbrella with one hand as Caraway floated daintily. Maxsuz couldn't sense his approach, so he made himself known with a cheery expression: "Hello, dear Maestro! You rang?" Nothing had actually been planned over their short, elusive communicators. Aliases and clipped sentences and meeting times were arranged, but Caraway didn't have any idea what Maxsuz would actually want from him. "You have a grand target in mind, or is this something else?"
