Onwards to Helion (Maxsuz/Inv)

True form or not, she did not care to make light of her own compliments when it came to fighting style. It's not too unlike some of earth's own topical and classic techniques that a lot of dojos teach. A bit outdated, as the extra arms were only so beneficial to a point. As was multiple bodies. Jackie's swinging leg sweeps over him, pulling her body around with the momentum to keep from stalling in the air and continue her assault. But before she could really push through and launch a second kick off the same spin she'd get stopped with a resounding kick as she's wide open and primed for a kick.

"Ahh!"
She yelps as the man connects with the first solid smash of a boot, sending the kami floating back a few meters before she found footing back on the ground. Digging her heels into the patchy soil they found themselves until she came to a dead stop, reassuming her wide stand with a sigh. It was a solid smash, had it been much stronger it would have knocked the air out of her.

"Love's an orange where you're from? My school is of the Sun Monks, where we're taught to emulate the stars. Their warmth and their fury. Maybe they ain't so far off."
She was getting a bit more out of his alien race as they sparred, drip fed what she would assume to be earnest commentary on her form. Not one to let the lull of conversation mess with their flow too often, she threw a palm out and let loose a string of rapid fire ki blasts. The typical blue and white exchanged for red and orange in color of their energy. The spray was meant to be a little erratic. Center mass, but spread enough to maybe catch Maxsuz if he tried moving around.

"You'd be surprised how many things are connected! But you've not seen nearly anythin' I got!"

Jackie also wasn't there to spend time on a cultural exchange, since that wasn't why her opponent was here. As much as she'd not mind talking at a day's end discussing it, she was here to test this knight's mettle. And she was here to see what he had coming into the tournament. Her spray of ki blasts were cleaved apart with the sword. Unsheathed and sheathed as quick as they came. When it was time for him to return fire, she was there to meet it with her own capable hands. Lighting both fists afire, she open palmed clapped in front of her. Sending powerful energy around here in a similar way as to knock both trailing pressure columns up into the air harmlessly.

In that same motion, she let her light orange aura surge around her again before clenching her fiery hands back into fists. This flame leapt from those hands to her aura, eating it alive and turning the corona around her into literal flame wreathing her. Hot as they came, it did not come to harm her body. Natural as any other technique, she used this fire and light radiating from her to now fuel her techniques. Cutting out the middle man of conjuring up fire and light, she simply threw a punch out into the air and let light form around a large lobbed ki blast.

This bolt of light would soar with the energy of the sun towards Maxsuz, as if to return fire again from where she stood. Completely comfortable to maintain distance if he was.

Jackie was poised and ready to act should her zoning shot forced him into play, a determined stare shot down at the Alkarooli as he too sliced her light handiwork apart with a single stroke of the sword. Using it as a springboard to start a mad dash right into her face. Another foot dragged back into the dirt as the girl on fire raised an arm. The Earthling took the stray blast to the arm, going with the energy and swinging it in motion with the ki to disperse its impact across the length of her right side.

"Let's tussle!"
The muscled up kami would ignite the upper sleeve of her arm, down to her fist, and swing it around against in an attempt to read the feint and any subsequent attack on that side of her. It went low, covering even her lower body in an arc. It made explosive contact with the back end of that swinging tail, a sudden blast of concussive energy and flame knocking Max's strike off course. Righting her arm, she'd pull it back to swing back at him using her own momentum. A few flaming strikes with the right, and the sudden hook from the left that ignites upon contact with the body.

Dealing with the problem head-on while she had momentum, she'd stomp forwards, trying to keep Max on the backpedal with this rapid barrage of flaming jabs and hooks. Mixing it up left and right, face and body shots, until she was confident enough to catch him with a similar feint; She jumps into the air to deliver a superman punch, only to tuck her body into a rapid spin, intentionally overshooting and turning the motion into a shoulder shot with a flying kick! The same ignition upon contact would occur as her left fist, her whole body a radiant bonfire under this strength she was expelling.

The kami was skillful, at least, nobody could deny her that as she swung around in the air with the grace of a raging fire. But even that wasn't enough for her opponent, who would return the same skill in kind. The sword was used as leverage to bring that kick out and down to their floor, grounding her and shunting the flames harmlessly away from either of them. While he seemed to like the close bind and used it as a moment to speak up about Earth, Jackie was there with the focus of a master in her craft. She turns her foot while she'd planted in this weird sideways stance, suddenly whipping around before she can even answer his query and chase his open side without the sword with a now flaming elbow to the face.

"I think you'll find-!"
She will try shoving with that elbow in the same motion, aiming to throw him off and buy herself some distance as the flames eating at her ki had to be quelled eventually. Given room or forced to throw him away, she'd still back off and swipe in the air with a chop. A violent phantom wind throwing away the fiery aura while she took in deep, sharp breathes.

"- that we're more than comfortable at this level! Makes for a better work out anyways when you have to work harder for the same results. Besides; I wouldn't want to show you that unless I needed to. And you've been a nice partner so far!"

Power wasn't always hard to measure, Jackie had it within her to even actually hurt someone in that sudden exchange. The intention wasn't to so much snap bone, but all the same it appeared Hollowl had let himself go open. It looked nasty for a moment, but most fighters could fight through that if they wanted. This guy didn't even look too pained by the close encounter with elbow bone, though. She'd blink at him as she held her own ground, steady breathing shaking away the slight discomfort in her gut and arm as well.

"Only necessary force. Get good enough at the Arts and you'll be flowing back and forth between rest and action. As you've witnessed, can't really read what you can't sense comin'!"
She smiles, explaining a bit on their ability to increase their strength in portions, hitting above where they normally should at times. What she can't exactly explain is why she wouldn't go all out. Jackie gave no indication she could even go past this in the first place, not until the man wondered when they'd be able to go there. As if it was a matter of time before she went Super. She's reminded that she'll be going up against Super Saiyans and the likes in that bracket.

"Well, you're not wrong. Tournament's no doubt going to be demanding more than this. I'll be rising to that challenge, don't think I won't."
The kami digs a heel back into the dirt, assuming a sideways stance again with one forward fist. A fist igniting with fiery orange ki as she waited patiently for the man's next move or her own time to shatter the momentary break.

A good observation, she either wasn't that strong or there was something she was holding back on. Of course he wouldn't know Jackie can't exactly slip into her fiery form at will. Just telling a stranger that sounded out of place in what she assumed was more a friendly show than a life or death fight so she didn't catch any annoyance or suspected such from the disguised himonus. The kami watches this warrior of light for a hard moment as what seemed liked minutes passed before he made his move.

Sudden tension in the air rose those faint hairs on her arms, she could sense the difference in pressure both by power and natural instinct. Jackie didn't know for sure what or how she'd exactly approach deflecting razor sharp cuts in the air, so her first order of business was to bound away from her spot on the ground. She hopped just as the man jumped up to perform his own kick. Where she once was, a faint afterimage suddenly shifts into place and dissipates as he passed by it.

She quickly reemerged behind him, falling in place where he was going, extending a similar flying kick down at the back of his shoulders. He would have time to sense her sudden reposition, but she had the momentum switch on its head with this afterimage. She'd follow through with the quick even if it mean landing right next to the shockwave that followed right after!

Jackie swoops in for the kick, putting her nimble yet athletic figure behind the quickly thought strike. Only, it comes up short. Snatched by the additional ethereal arms this form of his had. The kami was quick to try recovering and following up with another knee, but he was already pivoting and countering with a flourish of movement, trying to throw off her sense of reading an opponent visually while attacking from a different angle entirely. His hopes to get the earthling pinned entirely was half-successful. She brings her arms up to take the brunt and weight behind the limb smacking her down, forcing her to the ground on her feet. She can feel the dirt sink harshly around the boots she wore from the excessive force.

"Hyah!"
Jackie grits her teeth, using the strength of both her limbs to throw off this large limb. She was stuck in place long enough to get her straight under the chest as he wanted though, blowing her back again. A dozen meters back, Jackie eventually flips backwards and catches herself, hopping back in place on the Earth before she went tumbling into a crater of her own making. The Earthling took some serious breaths, the wind knocked from her for a few seconds.

"Haah... Nice!"
She sighs and readjusts her position back into a stance, smacking her cheeks with her hands before flourishing bright orange energy into a palm and chucking it at him while he was knelt. The distance he granted made it an option again to keep up pressure.
