It took months of planning and even longer to build, but at last, the Headquarters for the Saiyasquad had finally been completed! While Gira wasn't crazy about the name for their little group that Skivvy gave them, she had to admit that his dedication was something to be admired. Gira, Kaci, and Skivvy stood in front of the completed tower, the sun beginning to dip below the horizon. It looked absolutely incredible. Kaci handled the designs and built all of the advanced training facilities, but Gira and Skivvy were mainly the ones that did all of the building. Well... it was more like Gira did the building. Skivvy tried his damndest to help in that regard, though. He had gotten a lot stronger in the months they had been training.
The young hero managed to turn her ward from an average twelve year old kid into someone who was extremely powerful for his age! Still, when it came to carrying six ton steel beams, having the power of a Saiyan at their disposal helped a ton (pun absolutely intended). The three stared at the tower, taking pride in their work for a moment before Kaci broke the silence. Tucking a strand of blond hair behind her ear, she smiled at her two friends.
"Well, i'm gonna head to my quarters. I have some setting up to do there if i'm gonna be using it as a base of operations when providing you guys with support. Try not to set the place on fire while i'm busy, you two." Waving to her friends, she set off inside the actual building, the doors parting automatically for her as she entered. From their place outside, the heroes could hear the building's AI welcome her.
"Welcome, Oracle." The voice was feminine, with a slightly posh tone. Gira grinned widely. It seemed that the facial bio marker recognition system was working perfectly. While the young Saiyan had no clue what those words meant, Kaci seemed to be rather proud of the system and so brought it up constantly to the point where Gira couldn't help but remember the name. Looking to Skivvy, she jerked her thumb in the direction of the tower.
"So, wanna go inside? Maybe we can put the training facilities to use." At this suggestion, Skivvy nodded with enthusiasm, tucking his white shirt back into his pants.
"Heck yeah! Let's see what kind of cool stuff Kaci came up with!" He ran ahead of Gira, the Saiyan speeding up to keep pace with him. As the automatic doors parted with a hiss, the two passed through the threshold.
"Welcome, Saiyagirl and... guest." Skivvy's jaw dropped as the AI spoke.
"What the hell you mean, "guest!?" I'm the Great Saiyalad! Sidekick to the Great Saiyagirl herself!" He placed his hands on his hips with a huff. The AI responded almost immediately.
"My apologies. Welcome, Saiyagirl and Saiyalad." Skivvy smirked proudly.
"That's better." He continued making his way inside. Gira, however, remained at the threshold, looking out at the quickly diminishing sunset. She began to daydream; about the strongest fighters in the universe coming to test their mettle against her and each other. Of a grand tournament to gather these people together. It would happen soon. That much, she was determined to do.
