Korado and Sickle arrived at the remains of the ruined Metropolis. Once it was a grand city that stood out across the land. Now it was gone. It was a ruined mess and that was all thanks to war. Korado could not help but sigh as he took a step into the city. Sickle crawled after him forming two eyes that he could use to look out for any danger. Korado just walked his hand in his armor pockets his eyes wandering the carcass of the city. He wanted to find the gear he'd need to get off of Plant. It was always the same with this place. This war had been going for as long as he had been alive. The tuffle and saiyans fighting tooth and nail to rule over the planet. And it always ended the same with the death of thousands.
Maybe the war was going to change though. Korado had meet a lot of strong saiyans and tuffles. Stronger than he expected. It was with the ceasefire they had entered an arms race. Everyone trying to get stronger to make that final push while each side was without leadership. Even when that ended though, it'd just leave one side hunger for war. The saiyans were fighter by nature and the tuffles had created all sorts of dangerous weaponry. To him, even when the war ended it would just be the start of more trouble. Perhaps if he was less selfish he could try to influence the war one way or another. Maybe even find a third option. But he knew that would not happen. So he walked the ruined city looking for scraps hoping to avoid Saiyan and Tuffle alike.
From the shadows a creeper lurked, their tail swaying back and forth with agitation as they watched with caution; a Tuffle, and their companion wandering through the ruins. Though the lurker believed themselves to be hidden, they made no attempt to fluctuate or lower their power level in the least. It wasn't a skill they had been taught, and their pride would have made it less likely to be used regardless. The lurker watched with narrowed eyes, questioning in her head the purpose of the individual.
Why were they here? And what even were they? A Saiyan? A Tuffle? They seemed rather big for a Tuffle, so the lurker immediately thought Saiyan; but even more curious was their strange companion. The lurker had never seen anything like it! Was it a pet? Maybe emergency food? Regardless, her prey had been scouted, and her overzealous pride told her that this individual and it's pet didn't look strong at all! With that, the lurker would remove herself from her supposedly hidden position and climb atop a mound of rubble to take a seat, gazing down upon her prey once more.
"Helluva sight, innit'?" Zuqetta called out to the man, a sly smile plastered across her face, "Whatsa' tasty lookin' SLAB of meat like you doin' wanderin' around here?" She continued, licking her lips as she thought of how the man and his companion might taste; though, the weird looking companion much less so.

“Stupid piece of junk!” Onnio growled, smashing the small square control panel to bits with a fist, silencing the alert.
Onnio's pod was spinning through the Plantan atmosphere as it hurtled towards the ground. He’d tried to give the old pod a little legwork in low orbit, but it hadn’t even made it into the upper deck of the pink cloud cover before every system started failing.
Pressing his face to the pod window, he was able to glean the wreck of a city amidst the nauseating spins. “Shit!”
Throwing his helmet on, he curled up and braced for impact.
The space pod lanced through a war-pocked building and landed on the other side with a THWUNK. Bouncing and skittering, it rolled down a ruined expressway, thundering out a billowy tail of fiery debris. Finally, the space pod came to a halt about half a block from where Zuqetta and Korado met.
Groaning, Onnio glanced around blearily and flipped on the diagnostics of his helmet. Its built-in scouter was unresponsive. Great. And so was his arm cannon aiming system. Even better. Flipping the helmet display off, he kicked open the pod door.
With his scouter down, he was surprised to see two living, breathing beings in the ruins of the great metropolis.
Instinctively, he spread his fingertips wide, getting ready for an exchange of ki.
Maybe, this is fate. Yes, that’s it!... I’m supposed to be here. For a great fight! Thank you, broken space pod!
He didn’t need a scouter to tell that one was a Saiyan, a scruffy-looking girl, but he was having a harder time finding out about the other one. He looked kinda like a Saiyan. But there was something off about it. A metal tail? Who’d ever heard of such a thing?
The other one was a glob of snot or something, come to life. But it seemed to be acting as Korado’s pet. Probably one of the weird things leftover in these ruins. There were all kinds of horror stories about the effects of Destron Gas.
"I scouted you from high orbit, and decided to check on things," Onnio lied. "This area is claimed by the Saiyan Army, you know."
Korado looked up someone called out to him. He glanced at Zuqetta as she asked what a tasty piece of meat was doing here? Sickle glanced confused, he was a ball of slime that meant she must of been talking about Korado, at least both him and Korado assumed. Korado glanced at Zuqetta. "No. You are a little kid. I'm not into children." Korado raised his hand, "No one should be messing around with people less than half their age." Korado had assumed Zucceta was not meaning to eat him but more flirting with him. Korado had not meet a cannibal saiyan so that was his first assumption. Who could blame him? Korado began to walk with Sickle. "I'd suggest going back home and not just talking like that to strangers."
As he was about to leave though he saw someone else arrive. A saiyan warrior with a blaster of some kind on his arm? Korado glanced at him as he called out he had scouted them from above and noted this area was claimed by the Saiyan Army. Korado frowned, "I'm just hear to get scraps. I don't really care." Korado went to leave but turned back to the saiyan. "Though last time I was here this area was much in the way of controlled. Sure it been a ruin for longer then I been alive but I thought it was a neutral zone. Have you lot finally decide to take control of it as a staging point for more attacks on the tuffles? Or you just like revealing in what destruction we've all caused." Korado glanced waiting from a response by Onnio.
With Korado's response, Zuqetta's face would turn entirely red; with her expression going from a neutral blank one to a horribly embarrassed one. "W-w-w-w-w-what the HELL are you talking about!?!" Zuqetta exclaimed, her tail slamming into the ground rapidly in succession, "M-m-messing around with people!? I'm threatening you damn it!!" She continued, before raising her fists up, ready for confrontation. However, the sudden rumbling through the air coupled with the incredible sounds of a nearby crash would completely steal the show; as well as break what little tension there was, if any at all.
"Saiyan army?" Zuqetta question, "Puh, who cares!? Ain't no one 'ere ta stop me from takin' what I want!" Zuqetta exclaimed to the sudden arrival, "And I'm CERTAINLY not gonna be stopped by a little boy with a pea shooter strapped to his arm!" She finished, crossing her arms smugly whilst her tail beat against the mound of debris she stood on in an intimidating fashion.
"But as for you!" Zuqetta spoke up once more, this time addressing Korado once again, "Don't you ignore me just 'cause some soldier showed up!!" She growled, "Like I said, I ain't tryin' ta... I mean... GAH!!! I was threating you, I'm hungry, so I intend to KILL and EAT you!!" She declared, "Like a TRUE Saiyan!" In spite of her words, she didn't actually know any Saiyans who had ever eaten another sentient life with conscious awareness akin to Saiyans or other humanoids... nor had she ever done so herself... Even still, she intended to seem as vicious a Saiyan as possible, and what was more vicious than... cannibalism?
Onnio idly recycled his arm cannon as Korado went on about politics. Okay, maybe Korado was right. Maybe this was technically a neutral zone. But who cared about politics? The fight, the struggle! That's what was important.
Besides, the maps in Onnio's navigation module were at least half a century old.
"I guess maybe you're right," Onnio agreed thoughtlessly while steam gushed from his arm cannon. "But we could claim it, if we wanted to. And you lot better not even think about claiming it. It's a neutral area!"
Onnio twisted his mouth at Zuqetta's insult, mainly out of confusion. He was pretty sure they were about the same age. But she seemed pretty mad at the Fake-Saiyan. That was good. Anger often led to good fights. He liked the insults about eating Korado, too. Or maybe she was just really hungry.
"I'm Onnio, by the way," Onnio said, still fiddling with his arm cannon. "I'm with the Buster Corps. Maybe you've heard of us?" They likely hadn't, only really old people remembered the Buster Corps, but it didn't matter. He liked getting his name out there. That way, if he wound up giving them a good fight, they'd remember his name and spread it around.
He pointed at Korado. Time for the ultimatum trick.
"I'll make you a deal, Tin Tail. You give me half of whatever you salvaged here, and any spare Zeni in your pockets, and your trespasses in the neutral zone will be forgiven. And I'll make sure Hunger Pains over here doesn't eat you."
Korado glanced at Zuqetta as she was now royally embarrassed by Korado statement. Guess that was not her intention. She corrected explaining she was threatening him. Well that made sense too."Gotcha." Korado nodded. She did just seem to be a little kid but that didn't mean she was weak per say. It just he didn't feel as threatened by nature. Now it was making sense. "Right you wanna eat me? Well we can find you some food instead. I can tell you that most of my body is not in the shape that gonna make for good food. I wrecked most of it a long time ago." He had nanobots and he had nearly died from those slimes on Portafeu. He was sure if an animal ate him they might even die. Point was, if he was going to die, he'd not want to kill a young kid on accident.
He then turned back to Onnio as he noted that the saiyans could claim it if they wanted too and they better not think of taking it over. Korado paused glancing at him, "You must think i'm with the tuffles. I use to serve in the saiyan army actually. But I left. I don't wanna be apart of the war. So I'm moving along doing my thing. Collecting scrap so I can get off this planet and not have to be stuck here." Korado was going to keep walking but Zuqetta as she was still on about eating him. Korado sighed. "Look kid, It not gonna be good to eat me as I said." He glanced grabbing some rations he had on him. He put them down "You can have those though." He was not sure if the kid would take them but it was worth an effort. As for Onnio he was telling him to give half his salvage and any zeni he had. Then his trespass would be forgiven. Korado sighed shaking his head. "If you really need some scrap I can help you get some but the hell you mean by Zeni?" Korado tilted his head.
Zuqetta was becoming agitated with this man's constant dismissals of her threats; how dare he not take her seriously! And what exactly did he mean by not being in good shape to be food? Was it because he was old? Was he spoiled or something? Wait, do living things spoil? Zuqetta thought with a bit of confusion. The man didn't particularly look sick, it was possibly that it was simply a ploy in order to deter her from attacking. Zuqetta narrowed her eyes in annoyance, how dare this man think he could trick her so easily! Zuqetta clenched her fist, ready to finally strike without hesitation; that would teach this man she meant business!
Before she could make the attempt however, the man seemed to cave! Offering what rations of food he had on him in exchange to not be eaten! "Hmhmhm, finally seein' things my way, eh?" She declared, quickly jumping down from her vantage point to approach the man, "Very well! I shall accept your offering!" She declared with a smug sense of victory, taking the mans offered rations and wasting no time to tear into them. It seemed to her that her threats had finally worked, she hadn't even needed to ask for the food! In the mans cowardice, he had supplied her with rations in exchange for his life! Or at least... this is how Zuqetta saw it.
As she ate however, her ears would twitch as she heard the boy, Onnio, attempt to offer a deal to her mark. "Hmph, YOU think you're a match for ME?" Zuqetta exclaimed, moving between the man who offered her food and Onnio, "I'll have you know, I'M an elite! Not some low class PEASANT!" She declared, crossing her arms in a smug manner after finishing off her rations whilst her tail beat against the ground in anticipation, "And besides, what kinda of weak name is, Onnio? Bleh, it pales in comparison to an elite, strong name like, Zuqetta!" She finished in challenge, inadvertently introducing herself while childishly focusing on the difference between the soft and hard pronunciations of their names.
She had no idea who he or this 'Buster Corps' was, but felt no sense of worry that he would be a threat. Still, thinking of the name of his division gave Zuqetta a small tinge of excitement. It sounded like some kind of heroic unit or something, and in spite of the boy's beat up appearance, Zuqetta thought his armor looked pretty cool! Her tail swayed back and forth along the ground playfully, while she attempted to hold back a smile at the thought of being some kind of hero in such a cool sounding group. Maybe she would ask him about it, but now certainly wasn't the time to do so.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Onnio protested. "I"m not just some peasant, okay? I'm a Saiyan fighter!" He put his fists on his hips, shooting a stern look at Zuqetta. "We can't all be Elites. But it doesn't mean I don't work just as hard!"
"Lookie here, Tin Tail," Onnio said, proving his point to Zuqetta by leveling his arm cannon straight at Korado. "I'll make it real simple. You can either agree to tell everyone you meet that I'm the best around. Or..." Onnio smiled, and the arm cannon rattled to a full charge."Or we can fight about it and find out for sure."
This will get him fighting, for sure! Who could resist such an insult to their honor? Maybe a jellyfish. That's all. "You might want to stand back some, Princess Zuqetta," Onnio warned Zuqetta. "Sometimes, my blasts go wild."
Onnio wasn't just doing this out of the spirit of fighting, now. He was a little jealous that Zuqetta got rations, and he didn't get any. Even after he had threatened to rob Korado! Sure, maybe Onnio didn't know what Zeni was either. But he'd heard the word before, and he was pretty sure it was some kind of valuable money. Maybe he's holding out. He probably has a whole trove somewhere!

It'd only been a few days, if even that, since Vocado's vicious trek through the Ruined Metropolis. Simply seeing the dilapidated stone again gave him a chill down his spine and back up again, but he needed to be here. The arduous trek through here had practically tripled his power. Perhaps that was the wounds he sustained from his duel with Cheri, but he couldn't be certain. Something about the desperation of this place. The desolate, heartless lands. It'd made him strong, and made Vennel invincible. How?
Leaping from building to building, he pondered the question. How could his training, vicious and unrelenting as it had been, given him such little results, when a single, devastating moment rocketed him to near-Elite status?
His thoughts, scattered as they were, had been knocked wayward when his Scouter blared in alarm. A trio of powers... No, a quartet! They leveled out quite similarly to one another, and judging by the relative calm of the numbers, no fighting had occurred just yet. Nodding to himself in assurance, he leaped off the building, and took flight. With his new strength, he'd make it there in no time flat.
Landing on a building above the commotion, he gave the crowd a disinterested glare. They were Saiyans, mostly, save for some odd blob-like thing following one of them around. They were arguing about something. Was one robbing the rest?
Rolling his eyes, he brought forth an energy ball and tossed it down between the crowd, aiming to disperse them more than actually hit anybody in particular. Clicking his tongue, he crossed his arms over his chest, and shook his head. He stepped off the ledge, and floated down slowly as he regarded the crowd.
"What are we, a bunch of animals? War stops for one second and we turn on one another! Shameful. Absolutely shameful."
Touching down, he regarded the roughest of the three with a harsh once-over. He sported an arm-cannon on his wrist, and looked about as clean as a pile of dead rats. "Trying to start something? Hm? Prove your mettle against an infant and a cripple?"
Truth be told, the other two actually seemed quite powerful, if not moreso than Onnio. Hell, a week ago they'd easily have outclassed Vocado himself. Vocado wouldn't be announcing that anytime soon, though.
"We're cutting this out. Now. If a Destron Storm doesn't roll in and drown out this fight a Tuffle patrol will pick the lot of you off while you're breaking one another's bones. Does that sound particularly fun to any of you clowns?"
With how rowdy this bunch was, he expected them to say yes. Holding back a sneer, he readied himself for battle. Any one of the three could be ticked off enough to go wild at his comments.

Zuquetta decided not to attack him and instead took his rations. It was like she was a little dog. Now he had nothing to worry about from her. But that didn’t mean this fight was over. Zuqetta then focused on Onnio. Zuqetta declared herself as an elite and called out Onnio as a low class peasant. “Oh jeez.” Korado always hated the class system. It was foolish to be worried about the class you were born, you should focus on the work you do. Rising up based on the things you do, not based on your work. After that Zuqetta focused on making fun of Onnio name. Korado just began to walk trying to just leave as Onnio claiming himself to be a saiyan fighter and he worked hard. Korado was worried there was about to be a fight but Onnio instead called him forcing him to turn back.
“I Can’t just leave?” Korado glanced at Onnio wanted to be known as the best around or else they would be fighting. Korado turned his head to face Onnio. Sickle slowly pulling himself from his back to his shoulder. The other option was fighting him. "I still don't get why you got the desire to fight me so much. But if it gonna get me to not fight you, then yes your the best." Korado his right arm sarcastically. He just wanted to go on his way and collect more scraps. Still Onnio canon was charging up so maybe he would have no choice but to fight. If he had too he would fight back of course but he just hoped this guy decided to lower the weapon.
Before that could happen, A ki blast flew from a building towards them. Korad leaped back dodging as glanced to where the blast had come from. It was Vocado. The saiyan warrior was someone he at least heard of. If he was correct, he might of been a friend to Amara. It was good to see someone he actually knew a bit about alive. Vocado talked down to Onnio before noting they were going to end this because they didn't want to have a Deston Storm roll in and a tuffle patrol arrives to deal with them. Korado was pretty sure he could not just slip off now. It would odd to say the least. Korado let out a sigh. This mess had now forced him back in contact with a large majority of the current saiyan forces. But it could also be a chance to get some supplies. He just had to deal with the bad with the good. Korado made no attempt to start a fight he just waited to see if the other two decided to go agiasnt Vocado's orders.
Zuqetta snickered as the would be fighter made his demands to Korado; as if another going around and singing your praises said anything about your strength. Yet at the same time, Zuqetta couldn't help but like the way this kid operated! He might have been low class, but he definitely had the spirit of an elite! But then... he just had to go and open his big mouth...
"P... Princess!?" Zuqetta growled, "How dare you insult an elite!" She shouted with a powerful beat of her tail; her attention now entirely focused on Onnio, "No, you know what, FINE! Call me Princess! It makes sense to acknowledge me as your new ruler early on." She continued smugly as she readied to charge, "And I'll show you JUST how powerful your new ruler is!" With that, Zuqetta would kick off from the ground to charge directly toward Onnio, ready to fight! Only for her attempt to be ended prematurely by the sudden arrival of yet another on her turf.
Her body tensed as she took notice of the incoming energy ball, unfortunately in mid jump making it difficult to dodge; reacting as quickly as she could however, Zuqetta would slam her tail into the ground and propel herself away just at the attack would make impact.
"Who the hell!?" With the attack succeeding in its objective of dispersal, the assailant would quickly announce himself as he dropped in from above. Right when she was ready to fight of all times! His arrival was truly annoying, but she hardly took offense to being called an animal. As far as first impressions went, this new guy was just another buff acting all big just because... well, he was big, at least bigger than she was... but that didn't mean strong! As he gave his speech however, Zuqetta's eye would twitch as she was once again insulted.
"Infant...?" She questioned lowly, her tail beginning to frizz in aggression, "The hell..." Zuqetta would drop to all fours, digging her feet into the ground as she glared up towards Vacado, "Who the HELL do you think you're calling, INFANT!?" With that, her target was changed, and she would burst from the ground, charging at Vocado with full force. Being mockingly called a princess was one thing, but being referred to as an infant was entirely another! Testing her strength against Onnio could wait, she needed to take out the trash before her first; though being without a scouter or the ability to sense meant she had no idea what she was getting herself into...
Regardless, her mind was set and as she flew through the air towards her target, she would twist her body and use her magnificently large tail as a bludgeon in an attempt to literally, knock this guy right upside his head!
Tail Swipe | Light Offensive used against Vocado! [PL:1,000]
Onnio appreciated the admission of his better-ness from Korado, even if it didn’t sound sincere. He never had a chance to really follow through, because unlike him Zuqetta was a proper Saiyan, and responded to insult with an attack. But as soon as Onnio readied himself into a battle stance to face off against the charging Zuqetta, a lancing ki blast got in the way.
It was strong battle power, enough to make his eyes snap shut against the blinding light, enough to make him taste the dust of this dead city as it whipped across him in a howl. Leaping back from the detonation, Onnio slid to a stop, peering up at the new arrival. His eyes widened as he immediately recognized the armor.
That’s the Captain of the Shredder Corps! Onnio thought, impressed. He’d seen that armor before somewhere, a faraway familiarity, in the manner that Saiyan soldiers from different Corps were aware of their colleagues and competitors. His name was Vote-Taco, something. Onnio wondered if he’d be recognized, and realized with a flush of shame that he probably wasn’t significant enough of a fighter to stick in anyone’s mind, and the Buster Corps probably wasn’t either, anymore. The Buster Corps frequently languished at the bottom of the lists, both in terms of earnings and battle prestige. The Shredder Corps, by comparison, was a rising star on the lists. Not yet one of the heavy hitters, maybe, but certainly relevant in the battle-centric discourse of the Low-Class Saiyan community.
“I’d relish the chance to fight a Tuffle patrol!” Onnio told Vote-Taco, clenching his fists, before jabbing a finger in accusation at Korado. “It’s this guy who’s the problem. He doesn’t even want to fight anybody! And he’s got a metal tail. What kind of Saiyan is that?”
Before Captain Vote-Taco had the chance to answer, Zuqetta hurtled off with an attack. Onnio watched, impressed, as Zuqetta lead the attack with her tail. Not very conventional — tails were usually a weakpoint for Saiyans — but turning a weakness into a strength was the warrior way.
Smirking with excitement at the battle unfurling, Onnio floated down in front of Korado, blocking his way. “I guess that’s our cue…” He told Korado, squaring off against him. “You told me I was the best, but you didn’t give me any zen- any money! So go to Hell!” He yelled, surging forward with a fist aimed at Korado’s face.

The toddler launched through the air, feral energy encapsulating her form as she assaulted the Shredder Corp Captain. Her tail whipped around, but Vocado brought his arm up and out to block the strike. It slapped against his skin hard, leaving a bright red mark and pushing him back a bit. Despite the pain, he chuckled, lowering his arms as he shook his wrist to numb the pain.
”Aww, baby’s first tantrum! Was that supposed to hurt?”
Small as she was, the girl had serious power. If she wanted a fight, he’d more than gladly give her one.
With a quick motion, he reeled his fist back, and sent it hurtling toward Zuqetta’s stomach. Impact or no, the force of the strike would send pressurized air whipping wildly from his knuckles. A Kiai, of sorts, but more focused than your average.
His focus shifted to perhaps the actual threat. Wild and powerful as Zuqetta was, Onnio gave off a similar Battle Point. He’d need to quell this on both sides. There was no telling how inexperienced this tailless Saiyan was, so, annoying as it was, he’d have to try and cover for him.
Appearing with a shutter, Vocado caught the fist aimed for Korado, a brow raised.
”Tail or no, a Saiyan is still a Saiyan. You’d do well to respect your elders!”
He tightened his grip on Onnio, and aimed to fling him across the ruins and towards wherever it was that Zuqetta ended up.

Zuqetta was getting really angry as the insults that Onnio was casting upon her. Though she quickly enjoyed it thinking of it being a title of great power. Being called a princess was never really a bad thing he imagined? Who would not want to be of royal blood. Of course before she could attack, Vocado arrived and that seemed to shift her focus to the saiyan warrior. She really wanted to fight Vocado now. She decided to do that by leaping at him and swinging with her tail. Korado turned away to glance at Onnio was that was going on. He didn't seem to care if they all ran into a tuffle patrol, he wanted to fight. Though Onnio pointed at him claiming he was the problem considering he had a fake tail and didn't want to fight, "I'm neutral in the war. I grew tired of it. As for the tail, I lost when I tried to leave the planet. I feel out of place with one so I made one myself." He wagged the tail glancing at Onnio. "Any other problems."
While the hope was that Vocado would lead them somewhere else, Zuqetta attack must of lit a fire for him. The tail did hit him but it didn't seem to do that much. From his point of view, it looked like a very powerful attack, was Vocado just that much stronger. He was a saiyan who fought for years in the war it'd make sense if he grew this strong from the constant fighting and Zenkai boosts. He went to blast her away with a powerful attack, some sort of pressurized wind attack to knock her away. As he was caught unfocused, Onnio words about being mad since he didn't get any money went unnoticed. What didn't go unnoticed was the hand that was near his face as Vocado caught the blow that was aimed for his head. "The hell?" Korado asked surprised as Vocado had covered so much ground so fast. He must of been very strong. He watched as Vocado tried to throw Onnio away noting he should respect his elders, "That is kind of you Vocado. Thank you very much." Korad waited to see how this battle would go. If they both stood down he'd probably just follow if they kept fighting maybe he'd help Vocado out.
