Jinx Eats a Lot of Food

Gira had just arrived on Plant after being gone for what felt like forever. In reality, it had only been a few days, but those few days were packed full of all kinds of big events. From the invasion of Namek to the counter invasion of Arcose... and then, of course, her betrayal of the Mazoku and the defeat of Yangcong. She had purposefully avoided news of what went down on Arcose, but she didn't know why. If she had to guess, it was because she didn't want to hear of any of those who had died. There was a lot of death in the battle she participated in as well, and she didn't want to hear about anymore.

The first thing Gira did after arriving on the planet was going to a local restaurant. Space travel always made her hungry, and the trip from Namek to Plant was a long one! Gira chugged her large glass of berri juice quickly before moving to refill the glass from the pitcher that was next to her. Ever since Zuqetta introduced her to this stuff, she was practically addicted! The lack of added sugar also made it a perfect drink to quench her thirst without ruin the gains she achieved from her training. She was chowing down on some unidentifiable meat as well, cleaning each and every bone in quick order. After another mountain of meat was brought to her table, she noticed a Majin chowing down at the table next to hers. Gira grinned and raised her glass to the stranger.

"Yo, you should try the berri juice. My... girlfriend introduced me to the stuff! Now I can't get enough of it!" Gira laughed and took a healthy swig of the beverage before letting out a satisfied sigh and setting the glass down on the table.

"I haven't seen anyone with an appetite like yours before! Excluding Saiyans, obviously. I'm Gira. What's your name?" The young Saiyan grinned as she introduced herself before digging back in to the mountain of meat on her plate.

Gira couldn't help but laugh when the Majin mentioned that the berri juice didn't have enough sugar in it for her. To the young warrior, it had the perfect amount of sweetness. Then again, she never really considered herself as having much of a sweet tooth. Meat was her number one love in the culinary world. If only she could actually cook for herself... but every time she tried, she always ended up burning the food. Jinx stretched her elastic body over to Gira's table, taking a spot next to her. Gira had met a Majin before and became quite familiar with their unique traits during the spar she had with Megis in West City so long ago. Jinx introduced herself, to which Gira smiled.

"I'm Gira. I'm a Saiyan from Earth if the clothes didn't give it away. I've been staying here recently though to be close to Zuqetta. You know her, right? She's the queen." Jinx asked if the Saiyan teen had heard of her before, which got Gira thinking. The name was familiar now that she thought of it. She was certain that it came up in a few Hoken meetings back when they were discussing what to do about the Empire's invasion. Her gaze shifted down to the right breast of her gi, where a patch with the Mazoku Hoken emblem had been stitched on by the girl when she first joined them. She couldn't bring herself to take it off yet, despite not being apart of their group anymore. She wasn't sure why... perhaps because that emblem reminded her more of her sensei than what the group did in his absence.

She remembered the pride she felt in being the former Mazoku king's pupil as she was stitching the patch on, despite Gandigan not being the king at the time. She would probably have to take it off one day... but not today. Realizing she had been contemplating the patch in silence for a bit, she looked back up at Jinx with a wide grin. 

"I think i've heard of you. I believe I heard your name brought up a few times." Gira began to chow down on her second mountain of steak, her next words slightly muffled as she tore through the tender meat with her teeth.

"Stuff's been crazy lately, so that's probably why i'm having trouble remembering. I know i've heard your name before though."
