NAME:Celeh
ALIASES:N/A
AGE:28(Physical)
GENDER:Female
SPECIES: Saiyan Pride, Burning Ki, Combat Learning
GENERAL TRAITS: Raw Talent, Mimicry
STARTING PLANET: Plant

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Celeh appears to be a lean and lithe Saiyan woman of around 5'6" tall. She has dark hair that reaches the middle of her back at its longest point and is typically feathered in style when not unkempt due to the rigors of battle. Her eyes are somewhere between hazel and brown, akin to taupe.
Her common attire is a black bodysuit with short sleeves and short leggings worn underneath a light variant of Saiyan style armor. Celeh's specific armor consists of the boots, gloves, and cuirass with hip guards. The armor is primarily white, but it has red trim around each major plate, and certain sections have extra protection in the form of reinforced yellow bands layered over one another.
IMAGE CREDIT: Ishida1694 is the artist. It was commissioned for me by a friend as a birthday present several years ago.
BACKGROUND: Celeh was a soldier in the Saiyan army. She had spent the earliest years of her life amongst the stars, traveling with her people in search of a place to call home. When they finally found Planet Plant, her daily life shifted from simply surviving the rigors of long-term space travel to training and preparing for her eventual place fighting for the Saiyans' future.
While her adaptability in combat was exceptional, her lineage and raw ability as a warrior were lower class at best. This put her as a simple foot-soldier on the front lines of a war that had already been going on for a decade by the time she stepped onto the battlefield proper. However, the war was in its later stages at this point. Both sides had grown weary of the seemingly endless struggle. There were dissenters on both sides. Celeh lost many who were close to her during the war. In the beginning she hadn't been among the dissenting folks who simply wished for an end to the fighting. She had truly believed in the Saiyan goal of conquering Planet Plant and making a permanent home for her and her people. Now, though, grief and weariness of battle gave her cause to doubt. She began to look for ways that peace might be brokered so that both sides could coexist. Otherwise this war of attrition would have too great a price. What conquest could be claimed if so few Saiyans remained when the war was done?
Her position as a front line soldier held a silver lining. She came into contact with a tuffle named Rowan who shared her sentiment about finding a peaceful end to the fighting. She could not openly converse with him, and so she took to making secret trips into one of the tuffle settlements at the fringes of Saiyan territory to meet with him. Typically this happened when she was sent on Reconnaissance missions. He was able to give her enough information so that her scouting report was sufficient. In exchange she did the same for him. This allowed both sides to minimize fighting on their front, since her unit was effectively just a scouting squadron meant to detect and deter.
Over time, their bond deepened. The pair became star crossed lovers who simply wished to seen the fighting end. Sadly, they were not so fortunate. Celeh was ambushed during a scouting patrol. The Tuffles were planning a big move in their war effort, and flanking the main Saiyan force from the front Celeh was on happened to be first on their course of action. It happened so quickly that Rowan didn't get an opportunity to warn Celeh of the impending ambush.
She was gravely wounded and believed to be dead. However, Rowan had followed the ambush with the intention of saving Celeh. He took her to a laboratory deep underground. This laboratory was a creation of the dissenters among Tuffle society. Rather than build terrible weapons bent on destruction, the dissenters instead focused on ways to preserve and create life. Rowan brought a barely living Celeh to the lab and pleaded for them to use whatever they could to try and save her. He made a case for her in spite of her being a Saiyan and explained that many lives had been saved by the information she gave him during their meetings on her scouting patrols. Although his peers were reluctant, they did relent before her life faded completely.
It was clear that her injuries were far too grave for a standard medical pod to sustain her. So they placed her into emergency cryo-sleep. Even while nearly frozen, her body could still be mended and repaired. However, being frozen meant that it would take an exceptionally long time before it was safe to defrost her. It was unclear if being in cryo-stasis for that long wouldn't do damage to her body in more subtle ways, as well. But... Rowan was not willing to give up on her.
Misfortune was not finished with these star crossed lovers, though. The Tuffle chancellor had sniffed out the dissenters. Even if they couldn't locate exactly where their hidden base and laboratory were, they knew the city they were located in. Said city was on the border between Saiyan and Tuffle territory. When the Saiyans made a move to finally take that flank, they unleashed their new weapon upon the city. Destron Gas obliterated both sides of the battle.
Those in the underground lab were trapped there, lest they open the doors and suffer the grisly fate of Destron Gas. Rowan had been above ground when the gas was unleashed. There were a few tuffles stuck in the underground base, but none were among the scientists aware of Celeh's condition. With no way to escape without succumbing to the gas, they were forced to try and hold out with what supplies were in the laboratory. The place had its own generator powered by solar panels above ground. The gas flooded the city, but it didn't completely obscure the panels on the rooftops of buildings above the laboratory. And so, although the lab had diminishing supplies, it continued to have power even after the city was devoid of life. The underground laboratory and base only held enough supplies for a few months, though. And the Destron Gas's effects claimed the city for far longer.
Years passed with Celeh in Cryo-stasis. With nobody around to manually thaw her, she stayed frozen for far longer than was necessary. It was only due to an eventual malfunction of the pod that she began to thaw. She awoke feeling weak, stiff, and with large swathes of her memory completely blank. Her body and spirit still remembered a great deal, but her mind had lost much of the experiences she'd lived through. Whether that was by necessity to protect her psyche or by accident due to damage from extended cryo-sleep was impossible to know. Fortunately, she awakened some few months after the Destron had been cleared out of the city. So when she did finally stumble her way to the surface, she was greeted with the ruins of a lifeless city. Her only goal now was to find out what happened while she was in stasis. The rest would hopefully come back to her...

COMBAT INFORMATION
TECHNIQUES:
Sparking Heavy Attack Technique || Celadon MaidenADDITIONAL NOTES: This is Hewhostandsalone in the discord server. The currently archived character Nilen was my initial character here. I lost motivation for him, so he can stay in the Archives for now. I request Celeh's starting form to be Wrathful.
Celeh draws her arms in and wraps them around herself so that each hand is below the opposite shoulder. She gathers energy into her fingertips. Then, she slings both arms out to her sides to launch a cascade of pale, grayish green energy needles in vast numbers. The needles scatter around the target. Then she slams both hands together in front of her chest. This signals all the needles to converge on the target simultaneously, making it nearly impossible to avoid.

The combination finishes when Celeh unleashes this baleful visage of herself and launches it at the opponent like a ghastly missile.
