The Beach and a Dress hardly go together!

Still in quite the daze, Rhapsody was hardly able to get a handle on what exactly had happened; though when a voice spoke out, she would snap to attention, blinking a few times as she tried to make sense of the situation. "Goodness me-" she'd remark in a rather tired breath, slumping forward a bit as brought a hand to her head. She'd look around, taking note of the destruction, as well as the overall dismay of those whose possessions she'd unintentionally damaged.

Damp sand clung to her hair and the fur of her ears, and her wings felt heavy with the amount of dirt between her feathers and the net still wrapped and tangled around her left wing. She'd look up towards the one who had approached her, offering a kindly smile, though with an obvious sense of embarrassment from the situation.

"Ah, hello there! Please, pardon me-" she'd begin, giving a small bow as she held a hand to her chest, "Tis my first time coming to the sea, and I had not expected such an updraft to take me." she'd introduce.

She attempted to rise, though it was clear the ordeal had left her far more drained than she believed as she quickly stumbled and dropped back to a sitting position. She'd once more claps her head, her ears splaying back with a bit of caution as a headache came on. Not wanting to worry the one who approached however, she'd once more offer then a smile, coupled with a laugh as awkward as it may have seemed.

"Worry not, I am merely a bit... weary it seems, but I am quite alright!" she'd attempt to assure, "My name is Rhapsody, I do wish I could be introducing myself under more favorable circumstance, though..." her left wing, still tangled in a net would lift as she turned her attention towards it, "-my apologies, but... might I impose upon you for your assistance?"

The young man introduced himself as Yakito, and along with his grievance towards the misconduct of others, seemed to excitedly display his personal objective at the beach, showing off a conch as he did. Rhapsody found herself surprised, she'd never seen such a strange rock in her life; what few memories she had of her home world made it clear that she lived in the mountains, far from the sea, and as she'd already mentioned, this was her first visit to Earth's beach.

"Goodness, such a colorful rock!" she'd remark, "I have not seen the like, I am sure your mother will find it quite beautiful!" she'd say happily, offering a kindly smile.

Thanks to Yakito's assistance and surprising strength, she found the net that bound her left wing removed. She would splay both her wings out widely, though her face gave away the strain of the motion. Pulling her wings back in, she'd fold one over her shoulder and begin to examine her feathers, giving a rather weary sigh she her fingers gently pressed through her feathers. Yakito was still rather excited, even inviting Rhapsody to join him for a little adventure at the beach, to which Rhapsody would turn her attention to him and give a soft nod.

"Thank you, I do believe that would be quite enjoyable!" she'd cheer, "Though, I am afraid for the moment I must postpone the invitation. Never before have I experienced having all this strange, loose dirt upon my feathers before." she'd remark, clutching at the sand beneath her with an unamused expression as if trickled from her finger tips.

She'd turn her attention back to her wing, gently wiggling her fingers in between her feathers and rattling out bits of sand. "Something tells me this will take me quite a bit longer than usual to preen. dirt typically clumps, making it easy to clean; so this weird yellow dirt is quite the nuisance." she'd sigh, before her ears would perk up with a small realization, "Actually, if the walk is not far, I would not mind the use of the towel you mentioned!" she'd say enthusiastically, happily accepting Yakito's offer to be helped up.

"Thank you kindly for your hospitality, Mister Yakito!" she'd smile, only realizing after standing how short the fox was. She'd make no remark on it however, maintaining her smile and keeping her curious thoughts to herself.

Shells and sand, two new words she'd never been privy to. Rhapsody tilted her head curiously, an ear splaying to the side as she began to process the information. The shell was much more difficult to comprehend, as she hardly knew anything of sea life beyond the simple fish. Clasping a bit of sand in her grip and letting it pour out in fine, thin display however was more than enough for her to get an idea of the difference between Sand and Dirt.

"Ahhhhhh, I see, sand is it." she'd remark with a curious expression, "It slips through my fingers so easily, yet bits seem to cling just as well. Quite the strange thing, is it man made?" she'd question, though her remark didn't seem to be directed towards Yakito and was more of just open musing.

Her ears perked up as Yakito questioned where she was from, to which she would rise back up properly and dust off her dress.

"Oh, do pardon me! You have been quite friendly and approachable this whole time, yet I have done naught but express my woes and inundate you with mine curiosities." she would give a bow in apology, someone awkwardly as her wings shivered from the lodged sand, "I must admit, the greater portion of mine memory is absent. To where it has gone, I do not know, but do not fret as I am sure it is to turn up eventually." she'd explain with a smile, "Of what I do recall, I hail from the forested mountains of a world far beyond this one. As such, I make a forest well to the East mine home, it is quite the tranquil place!"

She would follow behind Yakito, subtly accepting his invitation this time around upon hearing how near his place of setup was. Despite the potentially dark story behind her origin, Rhapsody came across as quite content, without worry despite both past and present circumstances. Her smile was bright and consistent, and she held herself with a particular demeanor that suggested a sense of zen.

"Goodness, I do apologize if I ask a few too many inquiries. I must admit, I have never visited the sea, either in this life or mine previous one where fore ever it was I lived. I know not of this "marine life" you speak of, unless of course you mean koi and catfish!" she'd explain, seeming rather confident in her knowledge as she brought up the only two fish she knew by name. She would look off to the side in the direction Yakito pointed out, her head tilting curiously once more as her tail flicked with interest, "Showers?" she'd question, "I am afraid I know not this word, though I am hardly one in need of privacy."

Rhapsody would lift her sleeved arm, wet sand clearly clinging to it in a matted mess. Bringing her free hand to her sleeve, a soft glow of warm light would emit and wrap itself around said sleeve, eventually spreading along the length of her arm. It would only take a moment, before the light would suddenly disperse, revealing her sleeved arm to be completely refreshed, with not a single sign that she'd ever crash landed to be seen.

"Though it takes some effort, as mine understanding of this strange substance you call sand increases, so too does mine ability to manipulate it with magic improve." she'd explain, looking back towards Yakito, "Admittedly it is a bit tiring, would this room you called "showers" perhaps be equipped with a mana font to make the process easier to endure?" she'd ask, before playing a bit coy, "Such fonts are quite easily found in the world, should one know where to look." she'd smile, though of course, would keep such a secret close to her chest as she was instructed to do.
