Lottus pulls back from the two women, leaning on his arm against the bar counter top as the two affirm to him that they weren't going to let him do things on his own accord. Or at least, he was being told that he wouldn't be doing so alone. The idea of it, coupled with Jagaimo's words.
"Hruff... Friends and family huh..?" he mutters, tapping a finger against the bar counter in thought. Lottus grins at Zuqetta's warning AND confirmation of his wish to eliminate the Destron threat once and for all. She was trying to moderate his intent, but that she was listening mattered.
What Lottus did not expect - which seemed to be happening a lot today - was Zuqetta's reaction to the drink Jagaimo had brought out. The Saiyan's eyes widen as Zuqetta immediately flushes in her face, and fell over! The tiny Saiyan fall against Lottus, seeming to have conked out right then and there! The impact of Zuqetta's head to his chest was... almost unnoticeable from how light she was. Still, Lottus reflexively raises his arm, keeping the Saiyan Monarch from slipping sideways to the floor.
"You can't be serious?" Lottus says, brows raised. An amused grin splits his features, and the Saiyan barks a laugh! "What a lightweight! HA!"
Lottus smirks at Jagaimo as the other, also clearly amused, speaks.
"Hells no I'm not going to let her live this down! HA!" Lottus guffaws. Jagaimo tosses Zuqetta onto Lottus' shoulder, prompting him to snicker. "She needs to put some muscle on her bones - she weighs about as much as wet paper."
Lottus stands, putting a hand onto Zuqetta's back to keep his cousin from slipping off his shoulder, and regards Jagaimo.
"Alright, if that's where you want her. I can just as easily drop her off in the Palace, but I suppose some decorum needs to be observed." he replies, still sounding amused. Lottus turns from the bar, shooting a leer at any patrons looking his way, and starts towards the door off to the end of the bar.
He pushes the door open, and is met by the familiar sight of Jagaimo's dwelling. Each of his steps bore down on the floor with a heavy THUMP, and his black tail unravels from his waist, flicking from side to side under the mass that was his great mane of hair. Lottus finds a cot, stepping over to it and leans over to let his cousin slide off his shoulder and onto the cushioned bedding. He grabs a fistful of the covers, and yanks it over Zuqetta before turning away from her.
He still hadn't answered Jagaimo's question, he knew. Lottus, at first, seems to be observing the floor, but after a few moments, his coal black eyes raise to look at the smaller Saiyan. Doing so made his chest hurt; his instinct to shut her out flaring up, while something else kept sticking its proverbial foot in the way. Friendships never worked out. They always eventually turn on him - the monster, the bastard, the dog. Vocado had proved that. Cato had proved that. Even if he KNEW they were justified... He realizes that he'd been looking at Jagaimo for what probably felt like too long, and his face flushes somewhat.
"...I think I'll be sticking around this time." Lottus says after a moment. "...There's some things I need to figure out; and being on Earth has made things that should be simple... Complicated."
How was he supposed to put it? How was he supposed to say what he knew?
"I'll be hanging around Plant for a while, I think. I need to work out some issues - make them not complicated." Lottus grunts. He blinks, noticing something about Jagaimo. He tilts his head quizzically, looking at the Saiyan from head to feet and back again. "...Are you slacking off? You've gotten a bit broader - or did Zuqetta just knock you around that badly that you can't train?"
