Lottus had arrived back on Plant... At first, he had considered slinking straight back to the Metropolis Ruins, but the growling of his stomach managed to get the better of him. Lottus had tossed aside the Shinjin overcoat while in the deck of his ship, leaving it to rest with the hoards of jewels and riches he'd plundered from the planets he had destroyed. He had no real use for the plunder, not really - it only really saw use as a means to pay for keeping the ship fueled and maintained. The only thing Lottus found a personal use for was a silver necklace chain; he tore out the gemstone that had been imbedded into it, replacing it with the sapphire that he never allowed to leave his grasp.
Lottus keeps the baggy black pants, blue waist sash, and long sleeved black compression shirt that clung to his torso and arms of the Shinjin garb, but tosses the white boots, favoring his usual black and blue Saiyan boots, battle gloves, and battle jacket. Essentially, the only skin left bare was his hands, face, and neck. His black furred tail, usually kept wrapped around his waist, sways behind his legs as he walks through the streets of the capitol city.
Really, he had no reason to be hear other than being hungry... But... things seemed... quieter? To some degree at least. Where there had once been a noticeable buzz one could feel in the air - like feeling the tension of the city - now there seemed a general calm. Well, mostly. There were still occasional shouts from unseen places, arguments here and there. But the city felt more subdued. Lottus wasn't sure whether or not he liked that. In any case, something else catches his eye.
Saiyans wearing new colored uniforms patrolling the sky and streets here and there. The uniforms seemed to be sleeked down, and more unified in black with white trimmings. It was oddly uniform, considering how varied Saiyan battle armors really normally are, with many customizing them whenever they had the money to do so. And every guard he passed took note of him - not that any of them could do anything about it; and they knew it. Best they could do is report that he is around, and hope he doesn't get all crazy on them.
Normally, the thought would amuse him, make him snicker and sneer at the guards. But after that whole... situation on Earth... well, he wasn't feeling so amused now. Lottus tromps along the dusty road down through the Radditsu District, following an old path. He'd come here to the pubs now and then. Lottus stops and looks at one building - obviously repaired and repainted walls facing the street greet his gaze. Lottus had been drinking in that particular pub the night he met Cato. A brawl had led the two into a fight in this very street too. But that was now a year or so ago, and Cato seemed to be long gone. Where she had gone, he had no clue.
Huffing to himself, Lottus turns away and continues down the road, until he comes upon a now familiar sight. The Brawl Hole. Grub, Grog, and a place to vent frustrations. Lottus approaches the door, reaching for the knob. He hesitates a moment, and the door swings open, letting a pair of Saiyans brush past him. Lottus catches the door as it begins to swing closed, and breaths through his nose, stepping into the restaurant and pub. The lights are a soft, almost dim setting - so to not hurt the eyes of those particularly inebriated in the hopes of keeping tempers down. Lottus looks around for a moment, and starts forward with thumping bootsteps as he approaches the bar.
A familiar face greets him from by the bar, the tall Saiyan woman who was every bit as large as Lottus himself, Kotsuzui. Lottus grunts as a greeting, and settles into a vacant seat. It seemed to be a quiet day for the establishment at least. Kinoko, the half-shaven and scarred woman tending the bar drops a menu in from of Lottus.
"...Huh... Place has more options now." Lottus mutters, looking at a now longer list of foods and drinks. He didn't really feel like inebriating his issues away, so he ordered two drinks - a Berri Beer, and a Namekian Pure to weaken the drink a bit further. For food, Lottus settles on the Roast Saiba Raptor Dip Sandwich au Jus... Whatever the Hell that name meant. He understood sandwich at least.
While waiting for his order, Lottus rests his left arm flat on the bar, and his right elbow down, pressing his right palm over his eyes and letting his arm hold up his head. The sapphire necklace dangles freely, almost hanging far enough to touch the bar as he leans over it. Lottus heaves a sigh - he wasn't used to feeling so lethargic...
