The time for hiding was over.
At least, that's what Polarus believed, as he began his march on the citadel proper. It had been, at this point, practically two years since he had been last seen in action, and to the majority of onlookers that watched his approach from a safe minimum distance away, it would be as though the original rightful heir to the Hibernal name had barely changed ever since his last confirmed sighting in action.
But those who watched his cool, calm advance could not be further from the mark.
Back when the bioengineered brute was first making his debut into the cosmos, one would have believed he had been released at the most prime time possible- what with Hibernal having already a foot in the grave and potentially about to drag the rest of the empire along with him. While he was indeed meant to be the pinnacle of Arcosian biological ingenuity, and thus the perfect prospect to take the aging emperor's place in a growingly competitive interstellar state of affairs, the group of government scientists and officials put in charge of his progress had seemingly prematurely allowed for him to be released.
Indeed, the peak of Arcosian resourcefulness had been, unfortunately, half-baked when put out to battle. Which led to a plethora of unforeseen consequences- emotional instability, physical incapability, and a whole itemized list of other problems that could only be fixed with time back under the scrutiny of those scientifically approved. Which was why Polarus was missing in action for such a long period of time, as the remainder of those in the Arcosian government that still wished to see their pet project of theirs grow into fruition took their sweet time in ensuring the remainder of their bioweapon's issues were all ironed out into oblivion.
Now, fully prepped, and ready to return to the fray, Polarus believed that the best way to reintroduce himself was a fairly straight forward approach- which did include practically knocking the main door to the Regal Citadel down and announcing to all those who currently stood present,
"TICOGA!"
The sultan of smite stared around the main foyer with his focused, whited out glare as he called for the presence of the current sitting ruler of the Arcosian empire.
"Your presence is requested, at once!"
