The Nova Tower was a glorious monument standing at the epicenter of Lux -or was it slightly off to the right- to act as the symbol of progress brought by the Nova leadership. Meringue's dwelling was somewhere at the apex near the Premier's office.
Usually, Meringue rarely came out from her cave stocked to the brim with collectibles and assorted merch reflecting her pop culture obsessions, but today was a special day. Indeed, there was a festive event held at the ground floor, a bonding activity organized by mommy to reinforce the sense of unity between the employees of the tower. This meant only one thing to Meri's gluttonous mind: Pizza!
Wanting to sample the deliciousness without necessarily having to deal with the looming threat of social interactions, the tubby blob of yellow liquified herself in her room, slowly crawling up the wall littered with posters to access the ventilation system that she clumsily navigated. Eventually, she found her way to the reception, pouring out from a ceiling exhaust fan as a viscous mass that unceremoniously dropped headfirst on one of the pizzas garnishing the long banquet table. The convivial atmosphere entertained by the chattering of guests came to a stifling silence thanks to the nerdy Majin's crashing entrance.
"Uh oh..." With a big guilty dental grin displaying her braces, Meringue sheepishly waved at the crowd, her hide shifting from lemony to tomatoey. With her caboose full of sticky cheese, she stood up on the table, peeling a slice off her pants to swallow it while staring awkwardly at the incredulous crowd. "Sho... that's quite the party chu got in here, uh?" At least mom was nowhere to be seen...
