Kronos didn't have much of a home to go to--within minutes of landing on earth, he was petrified by the Cental City massacre--but it didn't make much a difference to the teenager. Being between housing was just a part of life for him; it was a large part of why he'd made his own spaceship. It wasn't the greatest vessel ever made ('I barely made it to Earth, ahaha...') but it had a bed and was almost warm. That was good enough for Kronos to not fall asleep, spending the entire city thinking of how much further he could drive this little project of Valentine's. He hadn't forgotten about the Teens of Tomorrow for so much as a second, but this was just as important. It'd be the type of thing that makes the team famous!
Eventually the Saiyan drifted off to sleep--for once, a little happy while he did so. The demise of his parents had made night-time rather difficult, what with the same nightmares and dreams coming up over and over. This time, though? This time he went to sleep feeling like a hero. 'Maybe I'll be on by the time this is over...yeah...'
"Scuba-diving?" he asked incredulously. "Come ooon, Val, that's lightwork. The two of us are smart enough to do more than swim with the fishes, aren't we?" It seems that he had warmed up to the scientist somewhat, enough to make casual remarks to her being intelligent--though obviously not as much as him. "Then again, you did say it was super dangerous. I haven't had a good fight in ages--this'll be good practice. Although, before I beat the hell outta some sharks--"
"What exactly is the timeline of our Ion Dome?" Kronos asked with a hint of suspicion, giving her an amused, yet still suspicious look. "Th' estimates in my head sounded kinda long--tell me you've got better ones."
