"It'll make you living proof that nepotism should be abolished?" Zuci wasn't about to let the warrior confuse her, instead choosing to just joke back at her. It was more of an instinctual thing to say rather than something planned though; she was focused on the short fight at hand if it was hard to tell. As Zerori pulled her arm back, Zuci figured that she was either going to counter with a punch or a blast of energy; she hadn't yet learned how to feel out magic, so when a seemingly random burst of that black and red force appeared from nowhere it had genuinely caught her off guard. Not being one who wouldn't try to show off at every point, Zuci attempted to spin in midair to avoid the attack; however, she'd hiss through grit teeth as she felt it land straight on her foot.

Zuci ignored the pain and dug her foot hard into the floor. She kicked with such force that it went through it went through it like paper. Gold Ki began to surge from that spot in the ground as Zuci meant to kick a blast straight into Zerori's face.

But-

"Oh!" Zuci snapped out of her battle hungry state having just remembered the rules of the competition. She kicked her leg high up into the air, the blast going straight through the ceiling and flying high, high, high above the clouds to the point where it would be difficult even for someone of their level to see. Zuci narrowed her eyes to see if she could locate the-

BOOM!

Despite detonating high in the sky, the rumbles of the blast exploding could be felt even down on ground level. A single bead of sweat dripped from Zuci's brow as small pieces of the ceiling fell to the ground below. Someone still wasn't used to her power clearly.

Raising her leg up, Zuci could see that Zerori had indeed drawn first blood from her. She grinned and lowered her leg. "How swell! Even as a Super Saiyan, there's still people out there who can draw blood from me! I concede round one- May we fight more? Please, please, please?" Zuci clasped her hands together as she begged Zerori for a bit more combat- She had definitely calmed down compared to before, her combat hungry grin being replaced by an ethusiastic smile.

Zerori gave a laugh at the very picture of Zuci trying to ease the pain from the hit she’d taken, very nearly losing her cool and continuing the fight once it was made clear that Zerori had bested her at their own little game. When she seemed to come back to her senses and throw her kick of energy through the roof (little hypocrite) the request that had come after was enough to almost bring the Demon back into hysterics, her own magic depleted for the moment and slowly recuperating in the brief reprieve.

She could hear the dramatic and endearing commentary from Rinako and, in truth, she was more than willing to continue if Zuci wanted but there was a fact that still remained - one that was becoming increasingly obvious as she noted with keen senses that her sister was almost finished with those other two. “Under normal circumstances? Sure. However, I came here with a simple goal and one I’m sure you’ve noticed by now.” She brought the sword she wielded back over her shoulder and eased it back in place, “I won’t stop you if you intend to attack me again, even I’ve won your little game rather quickly, but I only came to end the competition should it threaten my sister’s goals. If you haven’t noticed it yet, those two didn’t exactly have any real chance at defeating her and I’m more than a challenge for you and we’ve only just begun.”

Zerori tossed a glance in the direction of her sister’s power, “Once she’s claimed victory, unless you decide to be her next challenger, this will be over. I have my own plans after this. So…” She gave them a smile, albeit with a mysteriously sad note to it."-no. I’ve won this time, Zuci and we can have a follow-up fight another time. Sound good?” While casual in her response, the tense stance she kept made it clear she'd continue if she were pushed beyond the request.

As Zuqetta rushed back through the corridor that connected the throne room to the coliseum, she wore a rather pleased expression. She was sure Cilas' comment on her outfit going well with black or gold was merely an observation, but she couldn't help but to feel happy he'd said it. She couldn't let her thoughts linger however, let alone delay her actions, as with the last of the challengers defeated it was time to finalize her claim. As she reached the exit, she'd come to an abrupt halt, choosing to exit in a more dignified and relaxed manner rather than rush out hurriedly. She'd heard Zuci's tired yell and laughed to herself a bit, wondering how her fight with Zerori must have gone, something to ask about later.

Exiting the path, strangely enough Zuqetta was no longer in her Super Saiyan form but wouldn't draw attention to this; instead, her gaze immediately turned to Rinako who'd commandeered one of the drones that had been broadcasting the event. She found the woman's actions a bit silly, but also thought it useful; the change of leadership typically left a heavy atmosphere in its wake for the people of Sadala, but Rinako's actions along with Zerori and Zuci had perhaps alleviated a bit of that heavy feeling. Whether it did or not wasn't something she'd worry too much over however, now, it was time to finish things.

"Celari and Cilas are defeated!" She'd begin, giving a satisfied smirk, "Now, if there are no other challengers, then I, Zuqetta Dreadwyrm, hereby proclaim my victory and ascension to the throne." She'd yell firmly, taking a position in front of the broken throne atop the dais as she addressed those who remained.

Few remained after the many threats and casual destruction of the castle, and even fewer had reacted to Zuqetta's comment. Nobles who remained unfazed by the previous destruction gave a soft clap, while those of the lower class who had remained undaunted lowered their heads to bow. Zuqetta would have been lying if she said she didn't hope for cheers, but she understood the situation well enough. Though she'd gotten her name across well enough during the prior weeks leading to the event, there was much uncertain about their new ruler.

She was a noble, she'd ordered the removal of a lower class Saiyan, she was an open member of an off-world mercenary group, she was a direct relative to Lottus, and so much more. To claim ignorance would simply be a display of stupidity, she wouldn't be able to remove herself from everything that was true about her, but she could make her stand clear with her future actions, and was ready to make one such action in the here and now.

"Rin, get my good side for this one-" she'd say casually, giving a wink towards Rinako before turning her attention forward to address all Sadala, "I'll keep this brief; as of this day, I shall be the new reigning Saiyan Monarch, but I ask that you don't call me Queen. Zuqetta, is fine-" she'd begin, stepping back to gesture at the destroyed throne, "-as you can see behind me, the throne many are familiar with is gone. And with it, I say so too has the traditions of the past. I wasn't the first to claim this position through combat, and certainly won't be the last to try; so long as I live however, I want to make clear that I don't intend to allow any to return our people to those outdated traditions." she'd say firmly, her tail whipping against the floor with a powerful beat.

Holding out her hand, she'd perform a simple kiai; an invisible pulse of energy would push away the debris of the throne and she would turn her attention back to those before her. "The throne is gone, but in its place, I would have a table-" she'd laugh a bit at her words and their simplicity, "-a table for a council. And this council would see fit to allow ALL Saiyans to have a voice equally; be you of the lower class, a farmer, butcher, soldier, or anything else, you will have a voice." she'd say, pausing for a moment to give a brief sigh, her eyes narrowing, "This extends of course to the "nobility" as well, as the council is meant for ALL Saiyan, no matter their rank, whether or not they're even from Plant."

Her fist would clench, her head raising slightly as she adopted an icy gaze; she had thought it best to put this off for a time longer, she'd thought it best to refrain from what she was about to say until her position was more secure, but as she thought of Cilas, Celari, and Jagaimo she realized the injustice of putting it off for longer. Sure, Jagaimo was in favor of waiting, and even Zuqetta herself agreed that it was likely to invite civil war and conflict should she had done it so soon, but she wanted to make her point clear here and now.

"On that note, as of this day, as my first act as reigning monarch, I hereby ABOLISH the current system of noble bloodlines, installing in its place a Meritocracy!" she'd exclaim, "Let me make clear that I will not be taking away what all you nobles already have, but as of now, you will be considered an equal to any other Saiyan in the eyes of this Kingdom. Blood will NOT be an indicator of status; should you seek a higher position in our society, such a thing will be dictated by achievement, by accomplishment, by skill and power. Not the power one is born with, but the power one acquires by their own hand, the power one earns through hard work and dedication." she'd explain as forcefully as she could, speaking over the sudden outbursts and murmurs that were beginning.

"And should you lack power, there will still be a place for you in our society. Not as a grunt meant only for the front lines to die for our king, but as an individual part of a whole that is the Saiyan Kingdom. No one, in my kingdom, will be viewed as disposable! So long as you can see your fellow Saiyan as your equal, there will always be a place for you here. We are Saiyans and individually we are strong, but united, we are invincible."

As she finished her speech, taking note of those spectators who remained to bear witness firsthand to it, she was surprised by the diversity of responses. Of the nobles in particular, while many shouted in opposition, others fled, likely to gain control of their assets before things could get out of control. Yet, there were still some few who applauded Zuqetta's words along with many of the lower class who saw this as a chance to increase their status in society; Zuqetta was happy to know not all nobles were corrupt, but she couldn't let her guard down.

"Thus ends my first decree as Saiyan Monarch-" she'd exclaim, turning about with a swish of her cloak, "-of course, if there are any who oppose my ruling..." a burst of energy would pulse out from her, golden in hue as she retook her Super Saiyan form, "I will ALWAYS be ready for your challenge, but lest you forget my words- "United, we are invincible". When you come for me, know that the ones you'll face will be all those beside me; my friends, my family, my allies." she'd warned, her actions and words immediately hushing the opposing nobles, "I, am not alone."

With this, her challenge for the throne and first proclamation as Saiyan Monarch would be concluded; for the moment, she had no intention to answering questions or complaints unless it was in further challenge for the throne. If there was no other to oppose her, then she would have the castle vacated; there was plenty to get done after all, and the castle itself seemed to be on its last leg.

Ah, finally she had returned... Zuci watched quietly as Zuqetta walked back in through the hall, a small smile on her face as the soon to be queen took center stage in front of a shattered throne. On that note- She had a last name? Hm. Noted.

Zuci listened intently as Zuqetta began her announcements; it was time to see if she was really about to deliver on what she had been selling all this time. And from the sound of it... Well, she was doing just that. It took nothing but a minute for Zuqetta to do away with certain long held traditions of the Saiyans, and in Zuci's opinion it was about damn time. Finally, she could do without hearing idiocy regarding the nobility or bloodlines- You either had to put up or shut up, end of story.

Zuci wouldn't bother catching up and congratulating the young leader; sooner rather than later, they would more than likely get to speaking regarding certain things. In the meantime she would drink in the looks of despair the nob- No, the former nobility had on their faces with glee as she floated out of the palace. "Don't be surprised! As if a Super Saiyan should be considered less than a 'noble' being just because they were born with higher quality spoons! Be seeing you all, much love!"

Now to go home and pass out for a day or two...
